“Jill was great staying with our two cats. Throughout our ten day trip she gave us regular updates (with lots of pictures) and followed our feeding instructions to a T. She even kept our plants watered and they thrived under her care. Not to mention the great quality time she spent with our sometimes shy cats- they seemed to be waiting for her to come back after we got home! I would highly recommend her for any future bookings.”

About: I'm currently a grad student with a flexible schedule, and honestly, time outdoors with a dog is my favorite way to recharge and get away from the screen. A good walk or an afternoon of play doesn't feel like a chore to me — it's the part of my day I look forward to. That means your dog gets someone with the energy and genuine enthusiasm to keep up with them, not just clock in and out. I grew up with a golden retriever and was the one taking care of him solo whenever my parents traveled for work, so I've been the trusted "person in charge" since I was a kid. I offer dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits & house sitting, and I'm comfortable with everyone from high-energy pups to laid-back loungers. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some company, or a full day of play, I'll treat them like my own. Can't wait to meet you both! As a grad student with a flexible, largely home-based schedule, I can give your pet real attention and keep to their routine. Through the summer I'm generally free all day, every day, except Sunday mornings. Because I'm home and around for most of the day, I can stick to your pet's normal routine — feedings, walks, meds, and play at the times they're used to — and send you updates and photos so you always know how they're doing. If you have a specific schedule you'd like me to follow, just let me know and I'll build my day around it. Doggy day care: I'm in a comfortable 750 sq ft one-bedroom apartment with easy access to Rittenhouse Square, so your dog gets a cozy home base plus plenty of nearby green space for walks, play, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. They'll have my attention, a steady routine, and regular trips outside rather than being left to lounge alone. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. I also like to know their favorite toy and how they usually like to play or spend their day, so I can match their normal routine rather than disrupt it. Clear instructions are always welcome — I'd rather follow your way of doing things to the letter.
“Steven gave super thorough updates on my pet and was really easy to work with. Always super communicative and made me feel super comfortable leaving my pet with him. Highly recommend Steven!”

“Brian has been cat sitting regularly for us for years now - he’s simply fantastic. Super communicative, 100% reliable and genuinely cares for our ageing cat. We are so grateful to him and for him!”

“Areilla was amazing! We video chatted before hand and she did everything I asked of her while I was away! She sent a detailed summary of what happened and also sent pictures. I really appreciated her help and will definitely be reaching out for her assistance in the future!”

About: Growing up I have had both cats and dogs. I have taken care of friends’ and family's’ dogs ranging from super energetic to calm and quiet. I would love to take care of and treat your furry (or non furry, I don’t discriminate) friend. I am currently in grad school but available during most weekends. My schedule varies by day and I can be available some afternoons/evenings during the week. Safety, security, and communication are the most important things to me when taking care of pets. I will always make sure that your pet is receiving the same care you would give them and treat them like my own.
“Lydia was a very helpful pet sitter! She followed all of the instructions I gave very well and managed to earn the affection of my very shy and cautious cat. She sent pictures of her every day which eased my worries, since I had never let her in the care of strangers before. I would hire her again without hesitation!”

“This was my first service with Reno, and, as with his other reviews, must simply be referred to as superb. My kitty went right up to him at the pre-care visit, and did so well with eating, litterbox, and play under Reno’s care that I could not be more grateful. I definitely will use Reno again!”

Julia was an amazing sitter for our cat, Wally! We were out of town for a little more than a week. Wally has some tummy issues and he’s very particular about his water, but Julia had no problem making sure he got everything he needed. She also was great at communicating how Wally was during her visit. We will definitely use her again.

Alison did such a wonderful job with my two cats, Steve and Porcupine! She was so communicative and send detailed updates with lots of photos. She did a great job following instructions and administering medicine twice a day to my senior cat. She was very proactive about refilling their water fountains, cleaning their food mats and bowls, and topping off their litter. She also even helped me with household chores and took the trash out at my request! I highly highly recommend her

Tricia is fantastic! This was our first time using Rover and having a stranger watch over our cat - so we were a bit apprehensive. Tricia was recommended by our friends, and we are so glad that we listened to the recommendation! Thank you so much, Tricia! We appreciate it!

amanda and matina are great to work with! they’re our first choice for sitters because not only are they flexible/accommodating + easy to communicate with, but they also leave our home and dishes cleaner than any other petsitters we’ve had. i love that our cats have their own relationship with these lovely humans (:

Chasity did some drop-in visits for our cat Tucker and was amazing!! He can be a bit needy and is very chatty but she loved hanging out with him and sent so many great photos. She made sure his litter box was clean and gave him plenty of love while she was here! She was also very responsive and right on time for the scheduled visits. I’d definitely recommend her and will be scheduling with her again in the future if she’s available!
