About: I’ve taken care of multiple different types of dogs before ranging from frenchies to huskies. I also had a small, reactive dog growing up so am aware of the challenges that come with caring for a reactive pet. I absolutely adore all different types of animals though and am very adaptable to different situations/breeds/personalities. I am a medical student so am able to provide services at nearly all hours of the day, whether this is dog walking, pet sitting, or any other needs you require. I will make sure to provide your furry friend with the attention and love they deserve while you are unavailable as if they were my own pets :) I currently am a medical student, so have pretty flexible availability during the week days. My weekends are generally completely free. This means that whenever you may need a helping hand, chances are I am available! I live in a pet-friendly condo by myself, so there would be no other animals around to worry about. If pet sitting in your home, I would obviously be very respectful and clean. I have house-sat in the past and always leaving the space looking as it was.

“Leilana was so great! She took such good care of my kitten Margot, took pictures of her, and communicated with me throughout the whole booking process. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Our babies LOVED Tia! She played with them and gave them treats. We love that she even played relaxing cat music for them. We will definitely rebook her in the future! Thank you so much, Tia.”

“Alexa was phenomenal! Watched my two cats for a week during the holiday. Clearly cares about pets, made sure my more anxious cat ate her food and went above and beyond playing with my other cat. Sent updates daily and was a timely communicator. I had peace of mind my whole trip knowing I could count on Alexa. Will definitely be re-booking with her whenever possible.”

“Kristina stepped up at the last minute and Bubbles was so glad to see her. All good! Would ask Kristina to hang out with Bubbles again when I have to run out for a few hours any time.”

“Casey was great with Zia. Checked in and left great notes and pictures from her visit. Already have more dates booked with her! Thank you taking care of my baby! ?”

“Ben did an awesome job of taking care of my sweet pup while I was at work. He provided informative updates and photos to let me know the visit went well! Thanks Ben!!”

About: Hi! I have experience working at a dog grooming salon where I washed and walked dogs for three years. I grew up with a beagle who I loved going on walks with and playing with. I have dog sat in the past for friends and have about 2 years of experience dog sitting and walking on Rover. Took a little time off as I began full time work but wanted to continue dog walking and care I love animals! I am mostly free on weekends. I also have availability on weekdays in early morning or evenings. It varies a bit week by week so will do my best to accommodate! I work with owner to determine what is best for their furry friend! I have an apartment that has a tiny dog park but can also take the dog on walks.
“Camila has quickly become our “go-to”! She took such great care of our pup while we were out of town this past weekend. She paid special attention to his likes & dislikes to ensure he felt comfortable and had tons of fun while we were away. We received very regular updates with photos, which also put US at ease. Can’t wait to book Camila again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Philadelphia
Jovelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog, and I could immediately tell he was in great hands. She was reliable, communicative, and treated him with so much care and attention. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with him, which gave me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend Jovelle to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker!

Christopher was wonderful! This was my first experience using Rover and he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Communicated clearly and was very detailed with letting me know how each visit went. He went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable leaving my pets in his care.

Kristin is the absolute best! She cared for my beloved Petey for nine years, and is now a huge help with dogs I foster. I trust her not only as a walker, but as someone who truly gets to know and befriend the pups, with Rover cards that reflect their unique personalities. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Ren is great, and we are so glad she was able to check on our girls! It helped us to relax knowing that she was keeping them company, making sure they had everything they needed, and sending us great pictures. She also had great communication, and seemed to really enjoy spending time with Onyx and Oreo. We would absolutely have her watch them again.

I've worked with several sitters through this site/app and Ben has, hands down, been the best. I have 2 cats and was out of the country for 10 days. When I came back from my vacation, all tired and jet lagged, waiting to rearrange things, as I had always done up to this point, since the sitters, although generally good, had not been super careful and diligent, I was pleasantly surprised to see that everything was the way I had left it and I had to do minimal rearranging, which meant a lot to me. Also, during my vacation, Ben answered every obsessive question I had, assuaged every worry, sent me photos of my babies, and was, overall, very professional, and, also, very pleasant. On this site/app, I've come across mostly folks who work with dogs primarily, so I was looking for someone who had substantial experience with cats. Even though they are considered to be easier pets than dogs, cat parents, I'm sure, will agree with me on this: cats can be a handful in a lot of (different) ways. They require a lot more nuance in care and do not adapt to change as easily as dogs do. Since Ben has cats, himself, and has had a lot of experience taking care of them, I decided on him. And he most certainly delivered; both I and the kitties were very happy with his care. I highly recommend Ben to all pet, especially cat, owners and I definitely plan to work with him in the future.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
