About: Hi, my name’s Ellysa and I’m a big dog/cat lover! I’ve been helping care for friends’ dogs and cats since sophomore year of highschool. My family owns a dog and a cat back at home that I sometimes care for on weekends. I’m very attentive and willing to spend time and play with different types of furry friends. It’s a guarantee that I will care for your dogs or cat as much as I do for my own! I decided to be a pet sitter / walker because I am looking for extra income and I thought this would be the best way for me to do that while still having fun. Currently staying in Spring Garden area. I constantly update my calendar so be on the lookout for that. Going on a vacation? I’m free to dog/cat sit! I work full time but have plenty of free time during the day and the weekends. About: I’ve taken care of my own or my friends’ pit bulls and other high energy/high needs dogs for 5+ years. I am accustomed to dogs that need a lot of play and a lot of attention on leash and/or extra care around other pets and people. I look forward to spending time with your pup, whether they’re high or low key! I’m currently preparing for law school, so I only have classes a couple of days a week. Much of my schedule is available either for regular walks or one-off sessions if your pup just needs to get some energy out. In my home, my family dog is my best buddy. He likes to play rough and cuddle, and I’ve learned to adapt to his moodiness. I think it’s the caretaker’s responsibility to read a dogs body language and get familiar with what they need, with the goal of building trust with them so that you can walk and play peacefully.
