About: been caring for dogs since I was around 9, so taking care of pets has always been a big part of my life! I had my own German Shepherd girl who I loved and cared for throughout her life, and I currently have three cats and my own dog. I also regularly help take care of my best friends Snorkie mix and my aunt’s Husky. I genuinely love getting to know every pet’s personality, whether they’re super playful, a total couch potato, or need a little extra patience. I’m responsible, attentive, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I love to walk pets and have been since I was younger. As someone with too much energy for my own good, it helps me burn some in a way that keeps me just as happy. Im a freshman in college, but I frequent the city area daily. I’m fully available on the weekends and available after three on Mon, Wed, and Fri, and Tues,Thurs after 5! Every day i’m available early morning til 8:30! Enjoy your weekends and days out with a sitter like me. I’m patient when it comes to animals as they are not human and are more prone to any unexpected behavior and reaction. I’ve saved a couple dogs that others would call violent, but just needed a different angle of care that I was able to provide. I am physically fit and able to defend your pet as well as myself in case of any unfortunate event.

“Lindsay is great! She took care of my cat Ajax over the Fourth of July. I appreciated that she was available last minute. I would recommend her to anyone in Philly who needs pet sitting.”

About: Hi! I’m Alejandra, a lifelong animal lover and PAWS Animal Shelter volunteer here in Old City. Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and birds, and I’ve been the go to pet sitter for friends and family since I was a teenager. If there is a pet anywhere I go, they are getting some pets from me for sure! At home, I currently have two senior sassy Chihuahuas, a mischievous kitten and a 3 year old chill cat, so I’m very familiar with both dog and cat personalities and all the messes, zoomies, cuddles and quirks that come with them! I’ve cared for my own pets through different stages of life, including puppies and kittens, pregnancy and birth, illness, medication routines and their senior years. With my volunteering with PAWS I’ve gained even more hands on experience caring for animals and keeping their spaces clean and comfortable. I have a special soft spot for small dogs, seniors and nervous or shy pets. Having senior Chihuis has taught me a lot about helping anxious pups through stressful situations like thunderstorms and fireworks. I don’t believe in forcing an interaction with a nervous pet. I’ll give them space, learn their signals and let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. Slow wins the race! I’m comfortable administering pills, oral and topical medications and carefully following detailed care instructions. I’m also happy caring for puppies and kittens, including frequent potty breaks, litter boxes, accidents and lots of playtime. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each animal’s personality. Every pet has their own funny habits, favorite games and ways of asking for attention, and discovering those little traits is part of what makes caring for them so much fun. (I should be paying you basically) My Schedule I currently have a very flexible weekday schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I’m available for dog walks, drop in visits and overnight house sitting in the Old City and Center City areas. I’m also open to same day and last minute requests when my schedule allows. What You Can Expect From Me? I want you to come home to a happy pet and a well cared for space. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication and bedtime routines. Depending on the visit, I’m happy to handle litter boxes and pet messes, refresh food and water, wipe paws after messy walks, provide playtime and cuddles, and take care of small pet related household tasks. And yes… I will send pictures! 📸 Every owner is different, so let me know how much communication makes you comfortable. I’m happy to provide regular photos and detailed updates so you know how your baby is doing while you’re away. I always like taking pictures with them to show you how we are getting along! (Always great of course) Safety & Trust I prefer having a Meet & Greet with new clients whenever possible. It gives your pet a chance to meet me while you’re there and allows me to learn their routine, personality, favorite things, triggers and any special instructions before I’m responsible for their care. But I certainly don’t mind just jumping in and going along with their vibe if a meet and greet is not possible:) I hope you liked my long bio and choose me 🙇♀️ I can’t wait to meet them!!! I currently have a very flexible weekday schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m available for walks, drop ins, and house sitting throughout Old City and Center City. I’m also happy to accommodate same day or last minute requests whenever my schedule allows. I treat every pet according to their individual personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m especially patient with shy or nervous pets and never force interactions. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, litter boxes, and other routines. I also prefer a meet & greet with new clients so I can learn your pet’s quirks, triggers, and favorite things before their first visit. You can expect plenty of pictures and updates while they’re with me!
“Amanda provided fabulous services to our energizer bunny pup, Maya. Maya was well taken care of and had a blast! Amanda was just very communicate and easy to coordinate with, highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with four dogs and have spent my life around animals of all personalities and energy levels. Today, I'm a cat mom of 2 who understands that pets are family, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for them. What sets me apart is my combination of lifelong animal experience and a natural caregiving mindset. I work in public health and spend my days helping people feel supported, connected, and cared for. That same patience, compassion, and attention to detail carries over into how I care for pets. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, extra cuddles, medication support, or simply someone to maintain their routine while you're away, I'll provide attentive care and frequent updates so you can have peace of mind. I work full time but am around in the mornings before 9 am, work days after 4/5 pm, and on weekends! I also have flexibility when I can work from home so happy to stop by during the day as well. I currently provide care in my clients' homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their routine and familiar surroundings. Having grown up with four dogs and now caring for two cats of my own, I'm comfortable with a variety of personalities and needs. I'll follow your care instructions closely, provide plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away.
“I never worry about how my cat nova will be when I’m gone for a weekend because Vanessa provides her with great care and always sends video updates! Thank you as always, Vanessa :)”

“Sarah did an amazing job watching our dog for the day! I really appreciated how communicative she was throughout the visits. She was flexible with our schedule as well. We came home to a very content happy pup which is always a great sign. Would welcome her back anytime!”

“Ari took such amazing care of our pets while we were out of town for 7 days. She was reliable and communicative leading up to the trip and then went above and beyond during. Our pets immediately took a liking to her, she cared for them as if they were her own, and kept in communication with us the entire time. Highly highly recommend!”

“Valentina is great! I think she really cared for my cat, Nala, on drop ins and went above and beyond with her. She was very good at communicating and I could tell Nala really liked her. Would recommend 10/10!”

“Emily did a great job checking in on my two cats while I was away. She made them feel at ease right away and had zero problems providing care. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again in the future.”

About: I've always loved animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I'm happy to tailor my care to their needs. I work remotely full time but there’s lots of freedom and I’m able to pop out during the day if needed! Weekdays after 4 I’m usually available as well! And mornings 6-10am. I don’t currently have any pets in my home. I just moved to Philly last year, although we have family pets come visit often for extended stays! As for the client’s home, I follow the same rules they would! I think it varies for every client!
About: I’ve had a pet in the family since I was about 10. First an iguana, then a canary, a cat, a dog, another dog, and for the first time I don’t have a pet in the house. I love to walk, give pets, I’ve trained two dogs (patiently), and taken care of medical needs for senior dogs. I currently volunteer as a walker at Doggy Style Pets for dogs up for adoption. Currently work from home so plenty of time to play and walk. My day is pretty flexible as well so more than willing to work with busy dog parents. I have a fenced in yard and live near Kelly drive so plenty of places to walk or be outside. As far as sitting at a clients house, as long as I have a place to sit and WiFi I can work from, I can be available to sit in home while respecting your space.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for the past 4 years, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine! I’m comfortable caring for pets of all different personalities and enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I also work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, some playtime, or your cat just wants some extra cuddles, I’m happy to give them the care and attention they deserve. 🐾 Since I work from home, my routine is naturally flexible and pet-friendly! I’m home for most of the day, which means your pet gets plenty of companionship, attention, and care rather than being left alone for long periods of time. I like to start my day with some fresh air and a walk, and I’m happy to build in additional walks, playtime, potty breaks, or cuddle time throughout the day depending on your pet’s needs. I also enjoy keeping a calm, comfortable environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, walks, medications, and any special instructions. My goal is for your pet to feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away! 🐾 I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where your pet can feel right at home. “Ariana and Andrew were so helpful! They took on our holiday booking need the week of our trip out of town which was so appreciated! Thanks again both!”

About: I am a former dog dads who will love and care for your dog as if your pup was my own. Because there are two of us (my husband and I), your fur baby will receive plenty of individual attention and will rarely be left alone. We provide long and frequent walks, lots of play time, and affection. My husband says I speak dog...I am really good at reading their needs. I've had a dog in the family ever since I was a kid (first a Miniature Collie and then a Rottweiler), and recently lost our own beloved Beagle-Vizla a few years ago. Ever since, I've been a regular dog sitter for a small terrier-Chihuahua mix who suffers from high anxiety. I love every dog and appreciate your consideration in taking care of yours! I work from home and make my own schedule, and I'd be more than happy to spend that time taking care of your pup. With access to many parks and wide, quiet streets, that means plenty of lovely walks for your doggy. I love sitting with your dog either in my lap or by my side. There are numerous parks a few blocks away. We also have a small patio backyard pergola and soil, so there's always a comfortable place for your baby to go to the bathroom and soak in the sun.

“Daniel stuck it out when my dog Nelly gave him a hard time during her check-in! She’s very skeptical of strangers, but he won her over and provided great commentary throughout the process. Hugely appreciated!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fishtown
Olivia is usually pretty shy and slow to warm up to people but Julia got her to come out of her shell on the first day! In all of her photos she looked genuinely happy and my partner and I joked that we've been replaced haha. All in all she was very attentive and great and will definitely look to book with her again!

This was our third time booking with Yui Kei. She was fantastic with our girls as always and went above and beyond by making sure our trash and recycling went out without even being asked to do so. She sent great and funny photos of our cats. We highly recommend her!

What a wonderful experience I had with Tricia. It was my first time using Rover and Tricia gave all the TLC my cat wanted! ‘Nanda warmed up to Tricia and there was no turning back after that! I felt worry free with each of Tricia’s two daily visits. Every visit was well documented and the photos were so sweet that Tricia always made sure to send.

Bah was so great with our senior cat Roxy!! Bah was so reliable and sent us pictures and updates on how Roxy was doing with her food and medicine. She was super easy to communicate with and was nice enough to stop by and meet us before our trip so we had peace of mind. I would hire Bah again in a heartbeat!

Rachel is an incredible pet sitter!! Not only do the cats love her, but she truly goes above and beyond. We had some trouble with our automatic litter box and she was able consistently trouble shoot and solve tech problems on her own, making sure both the house and the pets were taken care of. So grateful we found her!
