About: Hi, I’m Cynthia! I am experienced pet parent and have had my dog, a super friendly couch potato Bassett Lab mix named Tucker, for over a decade now. I grew up with cats and frequently pet sit for friends and neighbors by doing drop in visits and walks. I have experience with both small and large dogs, and love to get my steps in with walks! We take our dog out for a 30 minute walk every morning, as well as shorter walks and play throughout the day as my husband and I both have flexible hours and work from home. The care and safety of your pet is of the utmost importance to me and I’d treat all of them as if they were my own. My name is Kira and I'm the head Chopperone at the Chopperoni, named so after my weiner boy Chopper. I'm a semi-retired programmer who works in app development and consulting. I work from home about 0-10 hours a week, which allows me to pursue pet-sitting as a full-time hobby! All profits go towards new toys, treats, and supplies. We welcome all pups 40lbs and under, and here's a list of what you can expect from your baby's stay with us: • 3-4 daily walks (more if needed) • Dogs welcome on all furniture and sleep in bed with me • 10-20 photos PER DAY • Playtime tailored to your dog's preferences and energy level • Plenty of cuddles and affection for dogs who enjoy them • Respectful space for independent, shy, or low-contact dogs • Playmates for maximum socialization! There are 3 resident dogs and I host up to 3 boarders at a time. We are either napping, going for a walk, playing, or sleeping together 🤣🤣🤣 • Meet and Greets are required to ensure all dogs get along! As a devoted dog mom, I know how hard it can be to leave your babies in someone else's care. But I'm here to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where both you and your pup can feel at ease. Thanks to being semi-retired, I'm pretty much around all day every day and can give the pups plenty of attention and companionship. They will enjoy 3–4 walks daily (or more if needed), along with dedicated playtime tailored to their individual personalities, energy levels, and preferences. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and are free to sleep in bed with me if they choose. Whether your pup loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax, I'll do my best to make them feel right at home! I've had two rescue dogs of my own since 2021, both of whom I adopted when they were 5–6 years old. My experience with dog care goes back even further, helping care for a family member's senior dog and was heavily involved in their daily routine. I'm especially experienced with senior dogs, administering medications, basic grooming, and caring for pups who may be anxious, independent, mildly grumpy, or simply prefer having their own space respected. At the same time, I'm active and energetic enough to keep up with younger dogs and those young at heart. I'm happy to match their energy level and make sure they get the physical and mental stimulation they need. I am home pretty much all the time! I have so much free time I can literally give the dogs my attention all day haha I only leave for 1-2 hours at a time to run my errands. My two-story apartment has 3 friendly dogs (1 tiny, 1 small, 1 medium) and all dogs are allowed to roam freely. The basement where my bedroom is has a big living space that's perfect for playing. There's a grassy patch of land across the street where we take the dogs for potty breaks, and we usually take the dogs to Norris Square for their walks.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and so have had experience since youth walking, feeding, and caring for them. In my adult life I have co-owned one dog for around 6 years and worked to house-train him and correct some behavior issues via positive reinforcement. I have also owned multiple cats over the past 16 years including raising one from kittenhood to adulthood. For the past 2.5 years I have been volunteering regularly with the in-house dogs at the PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) Gray's Ferry clinic. My responsibilities include giving the dogs ample enrichment time outside by playing with them and positively reinforcing good behaviors, as well as feeding and cleaning up after them. I have worked there with all different dog sizes and age ranges, including puppies and seniors. I am available for check-ins mornings, mid afternoon, and evenings as well as overnight care as needed. I am not currently available for boarding dogs at my home. I do not accept sitting requests for unspayed/unneutered dogs. I currently do not own any dogs but I do own one high-anxiety cat whose behavior is being managed well with daily medications mixed in with his food. I'm very patient with both cats and dogs and am always ready to give them plenty of space to approach me and begin to feel comfortable with me in their own time. I am comfortable caring for dogs via feeding, walks, playtime, and medicating as needed. For cats I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime or just hanging out, and medicating as necessary. I have experience pilling cats if the cat's personality allows for this.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets all my life, as I’ve come from an animal loving family! I’ve additionally pet sit for friends and family and am comfortable with adapting to different energies as well as administering special diets and medications. I’m a fairly active person who loves getting out of the house and moving, and my neighborhood is very walkable- full of one way streets and wide sidewalks! My boarding rate is higher than my other rates because I only ever board one pet at a time. Your pet will be getting individual, dedicated care in a safe environment! I work remotely, so am home most of the day. I am available for regular care of your pet and the flexibility of my schedule allows me to take breaks as needed! My home is pet and smoke and pet free, and the back patio has six foot high cement walls. I have a pet gate on my staircase for when I leave the house, so no fear if your furry friend likes to scrounge in clothing or laundry! Additionally, the entrance to my house has a secondary door which is always closed, so there’s no chance of accidental pet breakouts while entering or leaving the house.
