About: I am the go-to sitter for all of my family members and friends. I am flexible, reliable, and great with a variety of animals. I grew up with cats and dogs, and have carried that love with me to adulthood. My favorite memories with my dogs are the long walks we would take every day. I am a teacher on summer break, so I currently have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I can pop in to check on animals at any time of day, and would love to have some dogs join me for long walks throughout the summer. I will care for your pets in whatever ways you need. About: I’ve been around animals basically my entire life. I just moved here from Key West, where I was the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Florida Keys SPCA. During that time I got deeply involved in fostering and rehabilitating animals to get them adoption-ready, so there isn’t much I haven’t seen. Cats are my biggest area of expertise, but I’m just as good with dogs. I currently live with four cats of my own: two seniors, one who’s terrified of everything, and one with a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. So if your pet has quirks, medical needs, or a personality, we’ll get along. In my free time, I’m exploring my new city, playing video games, and drawing. I will 100% draw your pet. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits in easily. For overnight stays, I’d set up my work area at your place and hang out with your pets throughout the day. I’d just need to head back to my house once a day to check on my own animals. I’m a homebody by nature, so I’m around most of the time. I occasionally have weekend plans, but your pet will always be my top priority and I plan around them, not the other way around. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding schedules, medication times, and any specific instructions exactly as the owner lays them out. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, so if something seems off with appetite, energy, bathroom habits- etc, I’ll notice it early and communicate right away. For safety, I always double-check doors, gates, and windows, keep harnesses and leashes secure on walks, and stay aware of any household hazards (cords, plants, foods, open balconies). I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how things are going.

I have fostered kittens as young as 8 days old (still nursing), rehabilitated gravely injured cats, dealt with very scared/shy ones, and cared for hospice cases. I would love to help watch, care for, or walk your pets! I work from home M-Th and off on Fridays. My schedule is flexible and I would have plenty of time to spend with your animal! I live in an 1100sqft apartment that has an elevator (in case your dog is elderly and not great with stairs).
