About: I have worked with all kinds of animals throughout my life, learning to train cats and dogs on my own. I’m also familiar with exotic pets such as pythons and bearded dragons. I can comfortably administer different kinds of medications to most animals, including oral liquids and pills, sub-Q and IM injections, and topicals. Currently I am available as a full-time pet sitter for house-stays and drop-ins. I often sit for multiple houses at once, doing house-stays for one client and drop-ins for 1-3 others depending on the services and times needed per client. When I meet an animal for the first time, my priority is gaining their trust. I spend time casually observing so I can take note of their personality and physical forms of communication, but I don’t get too close or move too quickly until I’ve given the animal a chance to take me in as well. Once trust is established, we can move on to wearing leashes and harness, medication routines, playing, etc.

About: What sets me apart is that I genuinely care for pets like they’re my own. I’ve grown up around family pets and have experience helping care for them, along with dog walking and daily routines. I’m patient, reliable, and make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s a playful walk or quiet time at home, I keep things calm, familiar, and homey so they feel at ease the whole time. I work from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I also go on daily runs, and I’m happy to include pets that enjoy being active and going for walks. I have open availability and a spacious two-bedroom home where pets can comfortably roam and feel at ease during overnight stays. I care for pets by keeping them safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. In my home, I provide a clean, spacious space with cozy beds, toys, and plenty of attention so they feel at home. In a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions, while making sure they get care, exercise, and companionship. I am open to multi-day bookings and very flexible with longer term care as well as shorter check-ins and walks 🩷 I have essentially full availability on Fridays and weekends; the only time I am not available is 6-10pm on weekdays, as I’m currently in school for massage therapy :) Anything outside of that window is fair game! I take a very attentive and energetic approach, making sure to put safety first in everything. I absolutely love dogs and am very eager to explore the city and get moving myself, so I see dog-walking and pet sitting as something I get just as much out of as you and your pet! I do not currently have any pets in my home, so would be open to boarding in the future at my place in Fishtown (granted, probably a better idea for smaller dogs and cats, as my apartment isn’t ginormous).

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for years now, most of which have been around 10 years old or older all loved with extreme care. I am currently on summer break from college and am able to care for pets on most weekdays and some weekends depending on my availability. I have my own dog in the city and am very comfortable walking and taking care of her. I would care for your dog the same way you would both in and out of the home.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and so have had experience since youth walking, feeding, and caring for them. In my adult life I have co-owned one dog for around 6 years and worked to house-train him and correct some behavior issues via positive reinforcement. I have also owned multiple cats over the past 16 years including raising one from kittenhood to adulthood. For the past 2.5 years I have been volunteering regularly with the in-house dogs at the PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) Gray's Ferry clinic. My responsibilities include giving the dogs ample enrichment time outside by playing with them and positively reinforcing good behaviors, as well as feeding and cleaning up after them. I have worked there with all different dog sizes and age ranges, including puppies and seniors. I am available for check-ins mornings, mid afternoon, and evenings as well as overnight care as needed. I am not currently available for boarding dogs at my home. I currently do not own any dogs but I do own one high-anxiety cat whose behavior is being managed well with daily medications mixed in with his food. I'm very patient with both cats and dogs and am always ready to give them plenty of space to approach me and begin to feel comfortable with me in their own time. I am comfortable caring for dogs via feeding, walks, playtime, and medicating as needed. For cats I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime or just hanging out, and medicating as necessary. I have experience pilling cats if the cat's personality allows for this.
