“Kayla is wonderful!! Did a meet and greet with us and our pup beforehand and was clearly very invested in making sure she made him comfortable and got all the information. She was so sweet and our pup loved her immediately.”

“Sarah is great! She’s wonderful with walking my energetic pittie, and makes sure she’s all settled in before leaving. You can really tell she has a love for animals! Love seeing what she has to say about their walk/visit that day!”

“Carolyn was an excellent dog walker! She took my little pup for long enough walks to tire him out while I worked long hours, even in the crazy heatwaves. I knew she cared for Skippy by always refilling his water at home and giving him lots and love and attention. I will definitely use Carolyn again for my pet sitting needs.”
“Luke was amazing with my two boys! He was super attentive and was transparent when figuring out the walking schedule. I appreciated him giving me updates and pictures about the walks and my boys seemed tired but happy after each walk. I hope to use him again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets all my life, as I’ve come from an animal loving family! I’ve additionally pet sit for friends and family and am comfortable with adapting to different energies as well as administering special diets and medications. I’m a fairly active person who loves getting out of the house and moving, and my neighborhood is very walkable- full of one way streets and wide sidewalks! My boarding rate is higher than my other rates because I only ever board one pet at a time. Your pet will be getting individual, dedicated care in a safe environment! I work remotely, so am home most of the day. I am available for regular care of your pet and the flexibility of my schedule allows me to take breaks as needed! My home is pet and smoke and pet free, and the back patio has six foot high cement walls. I have a pet gate on my staircase for when I leave the house, so no fear if your furry friend likes to scrounge in clothing or laundry! Additionally, the entrance to my house has a secondary door which is always closed, so there’s no chance of accidental pet breakouts while entering or leaving the house.
About: I have spent a lot of time with dogs/cats and have had my own in the past! I’m great with baths(for dogs) and giving medicine if needed. I enjoy long walks too. Your pet will be happy and tired after time with me :) I love animals so much and I’d spend all of my time with them if I could! I hope I get the opportunity to meet yours :) I respect any rules or requests. I am very open and just want your fur baby to be happy, well fed and safe. Don’t hesitate to ask me for anything!
“Karyssa has been an incredible dog walker and an absolute lifesaver for me and my pup. She’s reliable, punctual, and clearly loves what she does. From day one, she took the time to get to know my dog’s personality, quirks, and needs, which made a huge difference in how quickly my dog warmed up to her. Each walk is more than just a bathroom break—Karyssa makes sure my dog gets real exercise, stimulation, and attention. She always provides thoughtful updates and pictures after every visit, which I truly appreciate. It’s clear that she genuinely cares and treats my dog like her own. Having someone I can trust with my pet is priceless, and I’m so thankful to have found Karyssa. She’s dependable, kind, and passionate, and I can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“My Luna girl LOVED Makaylah and was comfortable with her from the get go- which doesn’t always happen as Luna has… big feels lol. Makaylah handled her well, gave her good exercise, and communicated well with me regarding walks (and her move 😔)Sad to see her move away, she is great!”

“We’ve been lucky enough to have Michelle care for our two dogs for the last several months, and we couldn't have been happier and felt more comfortable knowing while we were away Michelle was giving them the attention and love they deserved.”

“Timothy did a great job walking Puddin’! Puddin mentioned that Timothy communicated very well, was always on time, and he felt comfortable and confident on his walks.”

“Elle was a fantastic sitter. I hadn’t yet left my 9mo old puppy with anyone she hadn’t known for a while. Elle and her were fantastic together. I can tend to be a little Type B, and Elle was patience with me every step of the way.”

About: I have had and taken care of pets my whole life! Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, fish, you name it. I have a sweet-hearted dog named Yumi, who is a Husky / Rottweiler mix, that my partner and I rescued in 2023. I’m great with all dogs and cats, young and energetic, or older and in need of a bit of care. My primary job is as a wedding videographer. Meaning that I have a lot of time free during the weekdays that I can dedicate to caring for your best friend! I have a large row home with a backyard, and Yumi gets along great with other dogs! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m happy to spend quality time with your pup in your home, or take them for a good long walk!
“Kelly was so great with my fur babies! My dog gets a bit nervous around new people sometimes, and Kelly was able to get her to warm up with some treats. I’ll definitely be using her services again!”

“Holly was fantastic to communicate with and took really good care of oscar. Would definitely rebook her again and will definitely suggest her to take care of your fur babys. :)”

About: Hi there! My name's Kate, and I'm a dog lover through and through. I grew up with dogs and have 10+ years of experience dog sitting and walking (including overnight home stays and drop in visits). From play, enrichment activities, walks, to attentive and detail-oriented care with meals, medicine, and wellbeing, I treat each dog I care for like my own with lots of affection and love. A bit of personal background: I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska and am trained as a professional opera singer. I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and my Master of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I am currently based in Fishtown Philadelphia, and am able to drive or bike to dog-sit and walk, based on your location. I have often done in-home stays for out-of-town folks. Prior to caring for your dog, I like to first do a meet and greet with you and your dog, so we can get to know each other and ensure your pup will be comfortable. That way we can also go over sitting information and any questions, so I can provide the best care possible. I am comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once, though depending on how many dogs you have, that may affect my fee. I have experience administering medicine to dogs with treats or meals. I am happy to send frequent photo and text updates, to make sure you're always in the loop and have peace of mind. Please feel free to send any questions my way. Thank you so much and best wishes, Kate My availability is currently open for the majority of September and October. I will be briefly out of town at the end of September, which is noted on my Rover calendar. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I have experience with and am comfortable staying in your home while dog-sitting. I am also happy to tend to any plants as well. I love sharing walks, and providing enrichment activities like “find the treat” or going to get a pup cup.
About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve been caring for animals, big and small, my entire life. I currently have two small (nearly identical) dogs, Frannie and Banana. I work from home so it’s easy for me to give them plenty of walks, pets and love. I have a small backyard and live steps from Norris Square park. I’m the go-to auntie to all of my friends pets :) I am a freelancer who works from home. I have two small dogs who I walk 2-3 times a day plus outside time in our backyard. My schedule is flexible and I live steps from Norris Square park. I have a fenced in backyard with a potty area. Two small dogs who are friendly. I typically have them meet new dogs outside of the home before having them come in to avoid any territorial behavior. My dogs eat 3 small meals a day and we keep treats to a minimum due to Frannie’s sensitive stomach. There are plenty of toys and the dogs are never out of sight.
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Kensington is $20

I highly recommend Sarah - she's amazing! Accepted a very last minute request when I unexpectedly needed 2 midday walks for my pup. She was even willing to forgo a meet & greet due to the timeline, but followed my written instructions to a T. My dog is a deaf and friendly, but quirky, Australian Shepherd. Sarah did a good job handling him, and I could tell he really enjoyed the long walks she took him on. Thank you Sarah!

Amanda was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. My pup who can be skittish at times with new people instantly took to her. It was my pup’s birthday and his first walk without me. Amanda did a great job. I cannot thank her enough for caring for my little guy, and keeping him safe. I will absolutely be scheduling more walks with her soon.

Amy is the best! It is so evident how much she loves and cares for other people’s pets and our dogs adore her. She is very communicative and accommodating and does her job exceptionally well. We are very lucky to have someone like her watch our dogs when we’re away!

Alejandra was fantastic. I needed a dog walker last minute and she was able to accommodate. She was super communicative and friendly, followed my instructions to a T and took lots of photo updates of Mochi for me. Would 100% recommend and use her services again :)

Caroline did an excellent job with Norman. She’s thoughtful and caring and sent many updates on their time together. I felt totally comfortable leaving him with her and he came back so calm and happy. I would highly recommend her to anyone who was looking for care, and we will certainly be calling her again!
