My home is pet and smoke and pet free, and the back patio has six foot high cement walls. I have a pet gate on my staircase for when I leave the house, so no fear if your furry friend likes to scrounge in clothing or laundry! Additionally, the entrance to my house has a secondary door which is always closed, so there’s no chance of accidental pet breakouts while entering or leaving the house.

What I’d love to know in advance: - if there are any behaviors I should watch out for or extra precautions I should take, especially around food or clothes! - How they behave around other dogs! I only board one pet at a time, but let me know if they need to cross the street when other dogs are walking, or if I should plan walks during less popular times. - Their sleep preferences! I am very comfortable with having your pup on my bed, but if you prefer anything else to keep consistency with your own schedule and home please let me know.

I’m an early riser, so my day usually starts at 6am getting up and about! If your dog is more active I love to walk my neighborhood, so we’ll go check out the local parks and take in the day. I do a good amount of my computer tasks on my couch or out on the back patio if the weather is nice, so they’ll get to hang out in the sun and watch the birds and squirrels that like to make their homes in my tree. I always end the day with a trip outside!

I’ve been taking care of pets all my life, as I’ve come from an animal loving family! I’ve additionally pet sit for friends and family and am comfortable with adapting to different energies as well as administering special diets and medications. I’m a fairly active person who loves getting out of the house and moving, and my neighborhood is very walkable- full of one way streets and wide sidewalks! My boarding rate is higher than my other rates because I only ever board one pet at a time. Your pet will be getting individual, dedicated care in a safe environment!

Sarah did a wonderful job dropping in on my dog and three cats! She was prompt, responsive and followed all directions. I know they were well-cared for. She also is a great dog walker during the week.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly responsive to Annie’s personality, followed every little instruction carefully, and even went above and beyond by buying her food when it ran out.
