About: Growing up, the only pet I had was a cat named Mishu. This cat meant the world to me and my brothers. My dad would do “Mishu’s voice” and sing the spider man theme song while playing with the red laser. Sadly Mishu has since passed but can live in the eyes of your precious fur babies.

About: I’ve had a pet in the family since I was about 10. First an iguana, then a canary, a cat, a dog, another dog, and for the first time I don’t have a pet in the house. I love to walk, give pets, I’ve trained two dogs (patiently), and taken care of medical needs for senior dogs. I currently volunteer as a walker at Doggy Style Pets for dogs up for adoption. Currently work from home so plenty of time to play and walk. My day is pretty flexible as well so more than willing to work with busy dog parents. I have a fenced in yard and live near Kelly drive so plenty of places to walk or be outside. About: Grew up with dogs my entire life and was required to train and care for them. As an adult, I have trained multiple dogs to AKC standards - my own dogs as well as training for family and friends. My exercise is my dogs exercise- think walks and runs around the neighborhood. During the day they will have the company of my pups to keep them entertained. Then I am home and available to give belly scratches while we watch TV. Have a large rooftop to soak up the sun with high walls for security. When your pup is here, it will be treated like my own - no problem with them being on couches or beds. About: I’ve been friends with animals before I could walk! I grew up in rural Ohio with TONS of pet and animals of all sizes which I’ve always made a mission to befriend them all. We’ve always had big and small dogs growing up and even now. I have a German shepherd named Mable and a Yorkie named Honey. About: I grew up with multiple dogs and so have had experience since youth walking, feeding, and caring for them. In my adult life I have co-owned one dog for around 6 years and worked to house-train him and correct some behavior issues via positive reinforcement. I have also owned multiple cats over the past 16 years including raising one from kittenhood to adulthood. For the past 2.5 years I have been volunteering regularly with the in-house dogs at the PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) Gray's Ferry clinic. I have worked there with all different dog sizes and age ranges, including puppies and seniors. I am available for check-ins mornings, mid afternoon, and evenings as well as overnight care as needed. I am not currently available for boarding dogs at my home. I do not accept sitting requests for unspayed/unneutered dogs. I currently do not own any dogs but I do own one high-anxiety cat whose behavior is being managed well with daily medications mixed in with his food. I'm very patient with both cats and dogs and am always ready to give them plenty of space to approach me and begin to feel comfortable with me in their own time. I am comfortable caring for dogs via feeding, walks, playtime, and medicating as needed. For cats I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime or just hanging out, and medicating as necessary. I have experience pilling cats if the cat's personality allows for this.

About: I have worked with all kinds of animals throughout my life, learning to train cats and dogs on my own. I’m also familiar with exotic pets such as pythons and bearded dragons. I can comfortably administer different kinds of medications to most animals, including oral liquids and pills, sub-Q and IM injections, and topicals. Currently I am available as a full-time pet sitter for house-stays and drop-ins. I often sit for multiple houses at once, doing house-stays for one client and drop-ins for 1-3 others depending on the services and times needed per client. When I meet an animal for the first time, my priority is gaining their trust. I spend time casually observing so I can take note of their personality and physical forms of communication, but I don’t get too close or move too quickly until I’ve given the animal a chance to take me in as well. Once trust is established, we can move on to wearing leashes and harness, medication routines, playing, etc.

I’ve cared for dogs for more than 10 years, from energetic younger dogs who need plenty of exercise and playtime to older dogs who need a little more patience and a slower pace. I’m comfortable with larger breeds, feeding routines, walks, basic medication, and following detailed care instructions. I’m dependable, attentive, and big on communication.
