Great with big dogs and rescues!
Growing up with german shepherds sparked a lifelong love of dogs of every shape and size. The most recent family shepherd was a rescue, who survived a serious attack as a young puppy. Raising him taught me the gentleness and compassion often needed to approach rescues, and I have brought that experience to my Rover caretaking. Since working with Rover, I have had successful and happy walks, dayboarding, and overnights with several rescues and dogs of all breeds and sizes, ranging from king Charles cavalier to great danes, english mastiffs, labs, huskies and pit bull mixes. Though dogs are my first love, I've also had the chance to do drop-ins and sleepovers with some sweet kitties. I find myself falling in love with them too. I moved back to the states a couple years ago after working abroad in the humanitarian sector for several years. I returned to Rover in a time of transition and have built a full-time business loving on neighbors pets. It has truly been a joy! I have been pretty cautious when it comes to COVID over the course of the pandemic and have remained healthy during that time. That said, I'm still very open to working with healthcare professionals and folks who can no longer work from home, and I am willing to do testing or wear masks if it makes a client more comfortable with me entering their home. I have a crate available for pets who require a secure space when left alone but typically I stay with the animal as much as possible while they are in my home.

Sarah was great and helped me out last minute. She was responsive and came over for a meet-and-greet before my trip. She made sure my dogs were fully cared for by feeding them, walking them, and spending time playing with them so they got the full attention and care during the entire booking. Highly recommend!

Sarah was a new walker for my pup! She was kind, responsive, and cautious with my pups needs. She also takes incredible photos of dogs!!! I can’t believe she got my dog to sit long enough for them too! I’m an anxious dog parent and trust Sarah not only with my dog but also in my home. Will be using her for future dogs walks, and you should too! She’s responsive to messages, keeps me updated and arrives on time!
Sarah always takes such time and care with Pancake. Key things: she always sends videos and photos without me having to ask. Checks in regularly which always helps ease my mind. She is slightly more expensive than other walkers on the app. But she offers a premium service and that peace of mind and security is priceless 😊

Schedule
This is my full time work - I typically have a handful to 10 walks or dropins per day but am open to adding more to my roster. I have availability from morning to evening & a few clients I check on late night.
