About: Having grown up with a dog in the home, I love the little moments of joy with our canine friends but also understand the attention and care each dog needs. Whether your pet is rambunctious and playful or needs more gentle care, let me know how I can best make them comfortable and happy. My availability varies seasonally; I'm an educator, so normally my weekday availability is limited to late afternoons and evenings. Weekends are very clear and flexible for me. In the summer, my schedule is wide open, so feel free to book me for those much-needed summer vacations! When I am dropping in to your place or staying to house sit, I approach your pet -- especially one who's new to me -- with care and gentleness. I double-check instructions each day to make sure I provide top-quality care.

Being located right near a park means we can head out for fresh air and exercise whenever they need a boost of energy. In Your Home For drop-in visits or house sitting, my priority is maintaining the environment where your pet feels most secure. I stick closely to the schedule you’ve built, ensuring feedings, walks, and medications happen exactly on time. About: I’ve always loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with 5 cats and 1 dog! I have 2 cats and 1 dog of my own as of now! I was able to fully train ( tricks and potty) my dog before he reached 4 months. I’ve rescued a few dogs and cats before and am always feeding stray cats in the neighborhood My schedule is pretty open as of right now! I can pretty much do whatever works best for you and your pets! I love taking care of animals I currently reside in a two story apartment with plenty of room. I live right across from a big field where I like to take my own dog at least once a day to run and exercise.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and so have had experience since youth walking, feeding, and caring for them. In my adult life I have co-owned one dog for around 6 years and worked to house-train him and correct some behavior issues via positive reinforcement. I have also owned multiple cats over the past 16 years including raising one from kittenhood to adulthood. For the past 2.5 years I have been volunteering regularly with the in-house dogs at the PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) Gray's Ferry clinic. My responsibilities include giving the dogs ample enrichment time outside by playing with them and positively reinforcing good behaviors, as well as feeding and cleaning up after them. I have worked there with all different dog sizes and age ranges, including puppies and seniors. I am available for check-ins mornings, mid afternoon, and evenings as well as overnight care as needed. I am not currently available for boarding dogs at my home. I do not accept sitting requests for unspayed/unneutered dogs. I currently do not own any dogs but I do own one high-anxiety cat whose behavior is being managed well with daily medications mixed in with his food. I'm very patient with both cats and dogs and am always ready to give them plenty of space to approach me and begin to feel comfortable with me in their own time. I am comfortable caring for dogs via feeding, walks, playtime, and medicating as needed. For cats I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime or just hanging out, and medicating as necessary. I have experience pilling cats if the cat's personality allows for this.

About: Being the oldest, my siblings and pets were always my responsibility. Now that I’m grown I don’t have any kids however I have 5 dogs. I love the fur babies. People think I’m crazy for loving dogs so much. I think they’re crazy for not understanding. I do media coverage for events so my schedule is super flexible as the events aren’t every day. I shoot for a few hours then I have the rest of the day free. I treat pets and property with utmost respect and care. I don’t just do what I’m being paid to do. If something needs to be done I’ll do it as long as it’s approved. If your dog went to the bathroom, I’ll clean it up. Things like that.

I have a small Chiweenie who enjoys playtime, but if your dog prefers a quiet, safe space, I’m happy to accommodate crate time as well.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for a couple years now, small as well as large. I even have experience with frogs and birds. I love animals they are so pure and bright. I’m currently working part time so I have all morning to hang out, walk and play with your fur babies. I know how important it is to care for along with not leaving animals alone. Especially if they have separation anxiety or something of the sort. I have a fenced yard along with tons of toys to keep your baby company. I can also follow any schedule that may be in place for your fur baby already.
