About: I’m a dog mom of two - that don’t like other dogs/kids, so I have experience with challenging walks. They live with their grandparents for now, so I have a lots of love, and care to give :) I work pm (3-11:30pm) shifts in center city with random days off, so I’m mostly available in mornings/overnights or certain full days when I have off. My apartment complex has a great green area around the building where I can walk my babies when they visit me. They are allowed on the bed/couch, but they like to sunbath on the fluffy carpet as well. They have a separate area in the dining room so they have space to eat peacefully. My little one also likes to hide with his treats, especially under the bed or table:) I make sure they get enough walks, even when their stomach is bad in the middle of the night. I also like to take them to the Wissahickon park, they love car rides. I would make sure other babies feel comfortable just like mines / or to create a safe and comfortable environment with lots of attention.

About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

I’m happy to spend as much time out there with your dog as they enjoy, making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and fun.

About: Hi, I’m Jocelyn! I grew up with a Jack Russell/terrier mix who has been part of our family for 12 years, so dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a teenager. I’m also a proud cat mom of two, and between my sisters’ cats (an orange tabby duo!) and my own, I’m very comfortable with feline personalities too. My pet care experience includes caring for my husband’s senior, blind family dog — so I’m confident with pets who need a little extra patience and gentle handling — as well as care for different breeds of dogs and cats from friends to coworkers! I’m an active person — I work out, walk, and spend time outdoors regularly — so incorporating walks or visits into my day feels like a natural extension of how I already live, not an extra chore. I also have two cats of my own, so daily feeding, litter care, and playtime are already part of my everyday rhythm! In my own home, my boys have consistent routines — regular feeding times, fresh filtered water, clean litter areas, and daily play and enrichment. I keep a calm, safe environment and give plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day, not just at scheduled check-ins. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their pet’s existing routine exactly as-is — same feeding schedule, same food, same walk times — since consistency matters most for pets in an unfamiliar situation (or even a familiar one with their person away). I treat the home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own space: doors/gates secured, messes cleaned up, and everything left exactly as I found it. And of course, you’ll get photo/video updates throughout so you can see your pet is happy and comfortable the whole time! (:

About: I’ve have dogs my whole life so I know how it feels to love a pet like family! I have 4 years of pet sitting experience with seniors, puppies, and special needs pets, so I’m well versed in caring for animals with all kinds of needs. I’m great at helping calm them down, providing plenty of stimulation, and making sure they get the playtime and attention they deserve! I have classes Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 AM–1:45 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM–12:15 PM. I also have a part-time job, so my availability can vary, but I’m generally pretty flexible. I typically work on Tuesdays, but I’m happy to accommodate your schedule and needs whenever possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities!
