Fun-Loving Dog Sitter
I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away)

We’ve been using Mya’s services for about two weeks now, and we’ve had such a great experience! She is incredibly sweet, flexible, and reliable. She’s been wonderful about communicating with us and taking great care of our two dogs. Most importantly, our doggies absolutely love her! We’re so happy we found her and look forward to continuing to have her help with them. 🐾❤️
Mya took excellent care of our dog while we were on vacation, including giving him medication. Her updates were thorough and frequent and she even got him a new toy after he chewed through one of his favorites! Would confidently hire Mya again and would absolutely recommend her to others!
Mya was wonderful with my dog, Gene! She took the time to meet him and get to know him before his stay which I really appreciated. She was easy to communicate with when scheduling and was super accommodating. I also loved receiving pictures and updates, including adorable photos of Gene snuggling with her dog, Milo. I'd highly recommend her and will be scheduling another stay with her soon!

Mya was excellent! She watched my dog over 4th of July weekend and I really appreciated the updates and her trying to make my dog calm amidst fireworks. She was very responsive and sent lots of picture updates! She took my dog to the park (the one I said he loved) and didn’t just quickly take him outside for bathroom breaks like I’ve had some other dog sitters do. I highly recommend booking her services!

I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

A typical day
I like to make sure that the pets I watch are never bored and always feel loved and welcome. It would defeat the purpose of paying someone to watch your pet if they aren’t going above and beyond what you would do yourself. I love exploring new places and parks with dogs and going on nice long walks and playing lots of games.
