About: Having grown up with a dog in the home, I love the little moments of joy with our canine friends but also understand the attention and care each dog needs. Whether your pet is rambunctious and playful or needs more gentle care, let me know how I can best make them comfortable and happy. My availability varies seasonally; I'm an educator, so normally my weekday availability is limited to late afternoons and evenings. Weekends are very clear and flexible for me. In the summer, my schedule is wide open, so feel free to book me for those much-needed summer vacations! When I am dropping in to your place or staying to house sit, I approach your pet -- especially one who's new to me -- with care and gentleness. I double-check instructions each day to make sure I provide top-quality care.
“Alicia was so wonderful she made our first walk with Rover so easy and seamless! she was very good with our pup Hank and sent pictures of the walk that they had which made us feel so comfortable and at ease while we were out of town. We highly recommend Alicia you can tell she is excellent with animals and knows what she is doing!!”

“Areana has been absolutely amazing with my pup Chloe! She has done overnights, drop ins and walks and each time she has gone above and beyond for Chloe. Chloe has health issues and she is a reactive dog. Areana was very attentive to all her needs and communicated with me frequently. I would recommend Areana to anyone in need of someone to care for their fur babies!”

“Lauren has been super flexible and patient. My dog is afraid of everyone - but really likes Lauren. I look forward to having her walk my dog regularly.”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and so have had experience since youth walking, feeding, and caring for them. In my adult life I have co-owned one dog for around 6 years and worked to house-train him and correct some behavior issues via positive reinforcement. I have also owned multiple cats over the past 16 years including raising one from kittenhood to adulthood. For the past 2.5 years I have been volunteering regularly with the in-house dogs at the PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) Gray's Ferry clinic. My responsibilities include giving the dogs ample enrichment time outside by playing with them and positively reinforcing good behaviors, as well as feeding and cleaning up after them. I have worked there with all different dog sizes and age ranges, including puppies and seniors. I am available for check-ins mornings, mid afternoon, and evenings as well as overnight care as needed. I am not currently available for boarding dogs at my home. I do not accept sitting requests for unspayed/unneutered dogs. I currently do not own any dogs but I do own one high-anxiety cat whose behavior is being managed well with daily medications mixed in with his food. I'm very patient with both cats and dogs and am always ready to give them plenty of space to approach me and begin to feel comfortable with me in their own time. I am comfortable caring for dogs via feeding, walks, playtime, and medicating as needed. For cats I can provide feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime or just hanging out, and medicating as necessary. I have experience pilling cats if the cat's personality allows for this.
“Kara was a great Rover for our pup Moishe. She’s super responsive, a great communicator, and was clearly a caring and careful walker. We highly recommend booking her!”

“Liam is a great choice for pet-sitting and dog walking! Very conscientious and communicative person and executed our care plan with perfection. House and pets looked great upon our return. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks again, Liam!”

“Oliver has been a fabulous dog walker for our little Maggie. He’s reliable, professional, and so sweet with our dog. Considering how shy Maggie is with new people, he’s impressed us with his patience and dog instincts. Would absolutely recommend him for anyone looking for a dog walker !”

“Paulina is amazing. Very available, reliable, and good communication. Our pups look forward to their walks around the neighborhood with her. Thanks!!!!”

About: I have over five years of experience working in an animal hospital, where I cared for animals of all kinds through walking, feeding, monitoring, and providing daily support. Through this experience, I became highly comfortable and knowledgeable in caring for pets with specific needs, including administering medications, senior pet care, and grooming. I moved to Philadelphia two years ago to pursue graduate school and, unfortunately, cannot have pets in my shared apartment. I truly miss being around animals and would love the opportunity to give them the same care, attention, and affection I’ve always enjoyed providing. I am currently pursuing my Master’s at Drexel University, which gives me a great deal of flexibility in my day-to-day schedule. I spend a lot of time throughout University City and Center City and am very familiar with the area. I’m also very active and love long walks and runs, so if you have an energetic pup who enjoys getting outside, I’d be thrilled to have a running buddy. Unfortunately, I’m unable to host pets in my home at this time. However, I am more than happy to care for animals in the comfort of their own homes, where they feel most safe and relaxed. I’m also open to house sitting and longer-term care needs.
About: Hi, my name's Gabe! I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and developed a fierce love for them! I'm currently enrolled in school pursuing a veterinary tech license. I usually spend my free time pet sitting for both family and friends, and I've previously worked in another pet care company here in Center City. Outside of school and work, I enjoy playing quadball and writing. I'm excited to meet your furry buddy! I’m able to give pet care a consistent and dedicated place in my daily routine. I make sure their needs like feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time together are handled on a schedule. I check in with them throughout the day to keep an eye on their health and behavior, and I stay on top of tasks like litter box maintenance, grooming, and any medications or special care they might need.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs ever since I was born! I have had family dogs growing up, and have owned my own for 7 years now. I love dogs and i’m excited to meet yours! I am waiting to begin my masters degree and job both at the end of August, so that leaves me completely free to take care of your furry best friend! I have a dog named Remi. I love him dearly. Remi is my emotional support dog and he helps me every day just by being around me, so I make sure to spoil my boy any chance I get. Remi has been diagnosed with Leukemia and Heart Disease so I am no stranger to dogs with health concerns that need medical attention and consistent medicine. Your pup will be in good hands.
“Liz was great! She’s was easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job walking my dog while I was at work! He loved her! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again and would recommend her to anyone!”

Highly recommend and will definitely rebook! I just moved to a new place and needed some help with Abby while I was at work. So much was new for Abby (new house, new walker) but Chelsea had no issues, and clearly made Abby comfy and happy. Refilled her water water time, gave her her frozen kong and gave me great updates. Thanks Chelsea!!

Jay did such a great job taking care of my fur babies, Roscoe and Millie! 🐾❤️ The Rover cards were full of thoughtful details and, of course, the cutest pictures of my babies. It was so nice getting those updates and seeing how happy and well cared for they were. Jay also asked thoughtful questions that helped clarify instructions and made me feel confident that Roscoe and Millie were in great hands. I truly appreciate the care and attention Jay gave them. I’m definitely having Jay care for them again! Thank you so much! 🐶🐶💕

Matthew is great with my specially formulated boy Bronco. Between my pups exuberance towards anything squirrel like and his talent at interrogating strangers upon exiting my building, Matthew handles his quirks well. Matthew followed my instructions on where to walk him and not to walk him and fed him meals and treats as listed. I’ve had Matthew back twice now and I do believe Bronco is better on walks after his visits from Matthew. I plan on booking with him again.

Sabin is fantastic. He is punctual, responsible, detail-oriented, and loves our dog so much. We’ve been using him for dog walking, doggy day care, and dog boarding. Our dog’s behaviors were even better after she spent eight days with him than before. I can tell he took such lovely care for her by how she acts. He is on time and communicative for dog walks, and flexible with us regarding timing for doggy day care. The humans AND dog here really appreciate Sabin!!
