About: I treat every pet as if it were my own. I’ve owed three dogs in the past years , two of which were rescues. I worked at a greyhound shelter in the past. I grew up with a cat as child and always been drawn to animals. My house is pet friendly and is a three story row house with a fenced in yard, on a quiet block. I love taking care of animals and will make sure your pet is treated with love and respect! My dog is a friendly and playful Jack Russell mix who loves his walks. My goal is to provide love and company for your pet when you can’t be with them. Whenever I go to someone’s house with pets, they instantly become my best friend!

About: Hi! I'm Melissa! A little bit about me. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats. Since the moment I was born, I was raised alongside dogs and cats and at one point in my childhood we had three large breed dogs and 2 cats at once, so fun and crazy! This always nurtured my deep appreciation for animals from an early age. One of our family dogs even had three litters of puppies during my teenage years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes. Today, I have my own dog in my own family home, a 76 pound English Coonhound rescue from Arkansas. Despite his high energy levels, strength and tendency to pull on the leash, I handle him confidently and independently. I adopted him through Philly Rescue Angels Inc., where I am also an approved foster. Family and friends have relied on me for years from a young age to let out, walk, feed, and play with their dogs whether it be when they need help on short notice or go on an extended vacation. In addition to my experience with dogs, I’ve had cats throughout my life and have fostered them as well. One of my cats even needed daily insulin injections for diabetes and I always handled that myself. My background has given me a well rounded understanding of animal care, and I take pride in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate, and responsible care for all of your pets! Since I am a nurse, I also understand most medical conditions and medication administration and precautions for pets as well, they're more similar to us than we realize! I am a registered nurse whom only works 3 days per week. I am quite flexible in my schedule and can move around my days easily if requested! I have a fenced in yard. I have a friendly dog to play with your pup! And an extra large crate if you need your pet crated at all. Pets are allowed on furniture in my house as well!

About: I’ve taken care of my two dogs daily. I’m doing walking with them twice a day depend on weather but most of time there’s walking around the blocks. I’m deaf. We would like to make your stay with us as easy and smooth as possible, and so we will do our best to keep your dog feeling comfortable in our home. About: Leanna and I have had dogs all of our lives. We have a dog name Gus now. He’s an Australian cattle dog. He’s very active and sweet. We have taken care of a few dogs while their owners were on vacation. We absolutely love it. A dogs unconditional love is the best feeling. You could have the worst day ever but a dog can make you smile for that moment. We are familiar with giving dogs medication. I had a dog that suffered from seizures and I had to medicate her twice a day. Matt works as a nurse full time. 12 hour days 3 days a week. Leanna works full time as well in the medical field. We try to make sure someone is home at all times so Gus isn’t alone. About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work 4 days a week, which I will typically block off, but am home several times for walks and care. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just chill at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment is smaller but we have a great neighborhood to walk in. We have Pennypack park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks in Jersey once a weekend. I have an extra crate if it’s needed and lots of toys.

About: I have two puppies of my own, that I love and adore. I have 3 years experience in healthcare, and love to take care of people and animals :) I am working part time at a hospital. My schedule varies from week to week, but I am as flexible as possible. As a nightshift RN, I work three 12 hr shifts a week which allows me a lot of flexibility to add in selected walks or drop ins When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and exercise instructions carefully and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. I also keep the home tidy and secure and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel connected while they’re away. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to get to know each pet and adjust my care accordingly. Whether a pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, my goal is to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away.

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, primarily cats but dogs and fish as well. Most other animals I put extensive research into the care of when considering owning them, and I would be more than happy to use that knowledge to give your animals the best care possible. I am currently working on continuing my education, so having a way to cover my bills that allows me a flexible schedule doing something I love seemed the perfect fit. Raising my own cat, Tabitha, from a kitten to be a very social, outgoing, sweet girl who loves going for harness walks has left me with a healthy appreciation of how well it works if you treat an animal with respect and expect the same. That being said, house rules come first, and I will make sure to enforce them in your absence.

About: I have taken care of dogs for about 4-5 years. For neighbors and family friends. They have relied on me to take them out for the bathroom, feed them, give them medicine (if/when needed, take them for walks. I'm currently working for the school district full-time and looking for a part time job while I'm there. A little extra cash doesn’t always hurt here and there. Trying to then move to full time in the summer. Since I can't have dogs in my apartment, I have always stayed at the clients house or popped in to take care of their pet. I'm comfortable with crating the dog. Some dogs that I have taken care of slept in their beds (not in crate) since they were older.
