About: Having grown up with a dog in the home, I love the little moments of joy with our canine friends but also understand the attention and care each dog needs. Whether your pet is rambunctious and playful or needs more gentle care, let me know how I can best make them comfortable and happy. My availability varies seasonally; I'm an educator, so normally my weekday availability is limited to late afternoons and evenings. Weekends are very clear and flexible for me. In the summer, my schedule is wide open, so feel free to book me for those much-needed summer vacations! When I am dropping in to your place or staying to house sit, I approach your pet -- especially one who's new to me -- with care and gentleness. I double-check instructions each day to make sure I provide top-quality care.

About: Starting local to Philadelphia. I have been taking care of other people's strays and rescuing feral and street animals for several years. I can manage several animals simultaneously and accommodate all of their psychological and physical needs. I have provided care for Chinchillas, Ferrets, Rabbits, cats, and dogs. Dog walking was something I did for two years for my neighbors. I am currently a cat sitter, and provide drop-in visits. In the morning I will check on the needs of any animals ie food and water. I will play and walk with them for about an hour. I will have dogs with similar temperaments play with one another. After playing and walking I will make sure they eat and rest. Throughout the day I will provide activities and enrichment for the pets. At the end of the day i will walk dogs for another hour. I care for pets in my home based on their individualized needs. Certain cats are independent and would prefer not to be touched. I will foster a positive relationship with the pet slowly, and individualize their affection based on their personalities and needs.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs and feel comfortable working with animals of all sizes. I have experience with pets that have anxiety and have administered medication. I used to work in a public school and as a result have an FBI criminal background check in addition to the one administered by Rover. I work as a tutor, mostly remotely, so I can be flexible while offering my services in the Philadelphia area. I have limited availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays but I am available full time on other days. I provide in-home pet care by following each pet's established routine and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. I feed pets according to their schedule, offer fresh water, and administer medications if needed. Daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation are tailored to the pet’s energy level and preferences. I also maintain cleanliness by tidying up litter boxes, cleaning up after walks, and grooming pets as necessary. I keep a close eye on their health, monitor behavior for any changes, and offer companionship to prevent loneliness. Communication with the owner is key to ensuring continuity in care.

About: I have dog and cat sat for family friends for years and am a big animal lover. I will happily take your pet for a walk or just hang out with your pet. I used rover as a sitter for a few years but took a break due to school. I’m back to being able to take care of your lovely pets! I am a recent college grad that is waiting to start my new job! I have time to take care of your pets and love going to different parks with dogs! I will be able to care for your pet in your own home the way you wish. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10 years. During that time I’ve learned to walk dogs safe safely, do potty care, play with dogs, and trained them. I’m able to take dogs on morning and night walks on a routine basis as needed. I can also take time out of my day to walk dogs in the middle or go to your home and feed them. I live in a spacious apartment that is safe for dogs to be able to play freely. I also have a patio so they can get more enrichment with the outside world.

About: I have over five years of experience working in an animal hospital, where I cared for animals of all kinds through walking, feeding, monitoring, and providing daily support. Through this experience, I became highly comfortable and knowledgeable in caring for pets with specific needs, including administering medications, senior pet care, and grooming. I moved to Philadelphia two years ago to pursue graduate school and, unfortunately, cannot have pets in my shared apartment. I truly miss being around animals and would love the opportunity to give them the same care, attention, and affection I’ve always enjoyed providing.
