About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 9 years old, and I’ve owned everything from hermit crabs to cats and dogs. Over the years, I’ve had 8+ pets of my own, including six cats. In college, I helped co-parent my roommate’s tuxedo cat, Poe, after we adopted her from a shelter. Also, I helped raise and train my parents’ Bernedoodle, Toby, from the time he was a puppy. That experience made me comfortable with high-energy dogs, sticking to routines, and using positive reinforcement. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including helping my childhood 12-year-old Portuguese Water Dog, Hercules, through his final year with plenty of patience, love, and extra care. I’ve also looked after the cats and dogs of several friends, so I’m used to different personalities, ages, and care routines. My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m currently a law student at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where I’m studying to become a lawyer. During the week this summer, I tutor remotely from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and provide animal care outside those hours. I’m available every day for morning, evening, and weekend visits, and I can often accommodate midday requests with advance notice. Whether you need daily drop ins, walks, or last minute care, I’ll do my best to work with your schedule and your pet’s routine. As a law student, I’ve learned that paying attention to the details, listening carefully, and following instructions matter. I bring that same approach to pet care. I’ll stick closely to your pet’s routine, take note of any special instructions, and make sure nothing gets overlooked. You know your pet best, so I always follow your preferences. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, adult pets, and senior animals, including feeding, walks, playtime, crating, and reinforcing household routines, so you can feel confident your pet will be cared for just the way you want.

About: Hi there! My name is Cacie - I’m a West Philly-based artist, plant-mom, and four-time Broad St Run runner. I love dogs, and while I don’t have dogs of my own, I am a proud dog auntie. My services include house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. Living in West Philly is the best because the Schuykill River Trail, Kelly Drive, and Cobbs Creek Park (and every neighborhood in between!) are all within reach. With the weather heating up this summer, it’s very important to me to prioritize dog safety on walks. Being in close proximity to parks means that - if needed - we’ll be able to walk on cool grass under tree cover, rather than hot asphalt. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so on hot days I can often accommodate walks earlier in the day to avoid scorching temperatures. I am very detail-oriented and pay close attention to pet-parent instructions, including meal time and amount, food, pet preferences, and exercise schedule. “Nancy was phenomenal. I had to attend a last minute funeral out of town and she was more than flexible with helping me find coverage for my kitties. My big boy needs insulin injections 2x a day which makes finding care hard for an owner. She was very well versed in giving him his injections which made the weekend much less stressful knowing they were both in good hands. She was very communicative and sent tons of photos. Cannot recommend Nancy enough!! Will definitely be booking her in the future for my kitties”
