“Jackie was able to take Archie on a midday adventure and they got along great. Thank you for taking good care of my little weirdo!”
“McKenna has been working with and training dogs for multiple years now. She is familiar with a multitude of dog breeds and care requirements to fill any specific dog's needs. Her calm demeanor and patience would make her the perfect candidate for any pet home.”
About: Hey all, I am a veterinary student at PennVet looking to make some extra cash this fall through pet care. I am happy to help in any way, just reach out! I have two small neutered male dogs, but am experienced with all sizes of dogs and cats as well. I have class from Monday-Friday, but often get out early (depending on the day). I am happy to watch your furry friend if it fits my schedule, and happy to host them for any weekend days if you need, possibly even weekdays! I have access to an enclosed courtyard with lots of great smells and songbirds. I also have the beautiful neighborhood of West Powelton nearby if any pup would like to go walking. For whatever reason my account says I am in Belmont— this is untrue. My address is in West Powelton, 19104.
“Christopher is the best dog walker we've ever come across! He absolutely loves his job, and it shows in everything he does. He is West Philly's own dog whisperer. I've seen him with huge dogs and tiny teacups, and he's great with all of them -- maybe because he himself exudes puppy-like energy and love. You won't regret booking him, and your dog(s) will be generously cared for!”
About: I've taken care of and trained my own dogs my entire life, and have helped out my neighbors, friends and family members when they need someone to watch and play with their furbabies! I am available from 3-10 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and as needed on the weekends. I'm also available other times throughout the week, but as a senior in college, my class schedule tends to change weekly, so reach out to see if i am available! I can walk, feed, take pets out for the bathroom and play with pets if the owner is not able to be home or take them for a walk.
“Nicole watched our dog Scout for the second time and was an amazing dog sitter. She sent updates and pictures during every walk and I felt great knowing that Scout was in her hands.”
“Liz is the most reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter ever! It usually takes some time for my dog to warm up to others, but Liz knew exactly how to approach the situation and my dog LOVES her. Liz is very communicative and caring- she makes sure that both the owner and pet have peace of mind. I'll definitely be using her services again!”
About: I am currently a pet parent to a reactive lab/pit rescue who is now 4 years old! And I have grown up with dogs my whole life, varying from corgis to German Shepards to labs and beyond! I recognize that our dogs struggle to advocate for themselves in stressful situations, and my goal is to read their cues and adjust appropriately. I take a gentle yet firm approach with all dogs I’ve worked with. Looking to earn their trust, and provide structure which will allow them to confidently experience the world alongside me! I also have lots of experience with kittens and cats! I am currently working remotely, and have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule to work with you and your pup to give them the care and walks they need! As someone who utilizes Rover for my own pup, I know how important it is to make your dog feel like they are in their routine even when you’re out of the house. Taking them for their usual walks, or getting their energy out with play time is so important! I also recognize that having someone outside of your family enter your home is a privilege and I am proud to treat your home with care.
“Gabe is SO amazing with my two fur babies!! They leave detailed reports of their adventures on their daily walks and goes above and beyond to make sure they have extra ice in their water bowl, gives treated, and even leaves toys for the pups to play with if they take a liking to them:) I couldn’t recommend Gabe enough! They make the pups feel just like family!!”
“Tyriq is such a sensitive and intuitive lover of animals. They have a calming “handler” energy with anxious pups in particular, and can play the day away with your high energy zoomer. Plus they have extensive exotics experience so your unusual critters will have knowledgeable, loving care as well. Highly recommended! They are my go-to pet minder.”
“Ella is a wonderful person with a deep love for animals. She is responsible and empathetic and loves all pets! I would trust Ella to care for my dog any day.”
“Gigi (Najeara) is a very responsible person who truly enjoys caring for animals. She is very caring and loves playing with your pet. I would highly recommend her for pet sitting. She does a great job and your pets will love her too. She will care for your pet as much as you care for your pet. She watched my Puppy for 3 weeks while I was away. My puppy didn’t want to leave her.”
“Nieemah is a hard working responsible young woman with great customer service and a caring attitude. She is great with children and animals and takes pride in what she does.”
“Chelsea was awesome! From the moment I met her on a meet and greet, I knew she would be a perfect fit! She was very responsive, reliable, kind, and trustworthy! Thanks so much for taking good care of my Papi on his walk! Would highly recommended and most definitely use her services again! Thanks Chelsea!”
“Sarah has been an absolutely amazing dog walker for my baby! She’s so patient and understanding of my dogs needs. As the mom to a reactive dog, I’m very over protective about new people making sure my dog is comfortable and well taken care of. Sarah was so willing to build a relationship with her and always greets her with smiles and treats. Very glad to have found such a great walker!:)”
“Hi, Kate is like a daughter to me and I've known her and her family for almost 20 years. She would be your perfect person to walk your fur babies. She loves dogs and all animals so deeply and can handle any situation she may come across. She has watched my dogs, and many dogs in our community for years. Her family has rescued and fostered more dogs that I can count. She is reliable, kind and would be your dogs best advocate! Feel free to contact me for any more detailed information you may need. About: Grew up raising our family border collies and now raising a family of four cats! Experience with giving pill medications to both cats and dogs, as well as oral liquid medications to cats. In between jobs as I just moved here, so available typically anytime of the day. Mornings and early afternoons work best but may be subject to change. I believe in two way communication to best understand the need of pets under my care. I observe their body language, energy levels, and changes in behaviors to gauge the comfort of animals I work with as we continue routines or try new things! I myself bring a tranquil demeanor to every interaction. From here I communicate with my own body language, eye contact, and calm spoken word. Building trust with owners is very important to me as well as they can communicate things with me about their pets needs.
“Dan is one of the BEST people who i have had take care of my dogs. My dogs, both age 13, absolutely LOVE Dan - she is attentive, compassionate, and never falls for the dogs tricks to get more treat. Any person would be lucky to have someone who loves animals as much as Dan does.”
“Ceili is the best!”
“Sydney always took really good care of my pup and I always knew she was in good hands while I was gone. She has a really good head on her shoulders and is able to adapt to what my pup needed. She was the best walker and I seriously considered staying in my old apartment just so Sydney could still take care of my pup.”
