“Helen is the best! She is knowledgeable, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. She provides great updates on walks, and is always responsive and easy to communicate with. I feel very comfortable knowing Hoagie is in her care. I would recommend Helen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

“My dogs liked Sabin immediately. My timid pup let Sabin pick him up, which he is normally very worried about even with me. Sabin is responsible, attentive and has positive energy that all of us appreciate! I highly recommend him!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for more than six years, including my own Cavapoo who I’ve raised since he was a puppy. Friends, neighbors, and family often rely on me to help walk, feed, and look after their pets because they know I’m patient and attentive. I work from home as an engineer, so I’m around all day to give your dog plenty of supervision, playtime, and walks. I work from home full time, so I’m available throughout the day to give your pup lots of attention. I can walk dogs three to four times a day, and I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will enjoy a calm, consistent routine with me. My home is roomy with plenty of space for dogs to roam and relax. I also have a friendly six year old Cavapoo who gets along well with dogs of all ages. I always do slow introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I can easily crate your dog if needed and follow any routines you already have at home. My goal is to create a safe, warm, and stress free environment where your pup feels like part of the family.
“Kristina was communicative and great with my dog! She took him on a long walk and gave me lots of updates and pictures, highly dependable and great communication!”

About: I am a law student at Drexel Kline School of Law but I have two dogs at my house away from grad school. My class schedule is not very demanding, which will give me lots of time to keep your doggo company! I have had numerous pets growing up so I am used to caring and loving animals. There are not and will not be any pets in my apartment other than the dog I am taking care of at the time so there won't be issues with any other pets! This is my only job so I will have plenty of time to be with your dog! My school schedule is not very demanding and I come home more than once throughout the day. I am usually with them throughout the whole day, but I can easily crate your dog if needed and if given a crate, otherwise my apartment is small and open and he/she can just stay in any of the rooms if I have to step out.
“Kelsey was so great! She left a detailed description of her time walking Henley and was very responsive! Henley was very well cared for during his walk with her.”

“We had a great time meeting Greg for our first meet and greet/walk. He even made Pinto feel at ease - and that’s a tough sell. We are looking forward to booking future walks and pet sitting with Greg.”

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog, Bruno. I was in a real bind during the big snowstorm and sent a last-minute request, and she didn’t hesitate to step in despite the uncertainty with the weather. Her communication was fantastic—quick, clear, and reassuring the whole time. Bruno was so really comfortable with her right away. I will definitely be booking with her again. 5 stars!”

“Ben was a great pick to take care of my pups. He was very responsive and enthusiastic . I unfortunately did not have enough food at the house and Ben offered to go out of his way and pick up some dog food. He went above and beyond ! Would highly recommend .”

“Nicholas is great. He has been great with both my dogs. One of my dogs is reactive and just got back from a month long board and train and has been great helping me keep her on her training. They are always in great moods when I come home.”

About: I'm currently a grad student with a flexible schedule, and honestly, time outdoors with a dog is my favorite way to recharge and get away from the screen. A good walk or an afternoon of play doesn't feel like a chore to me — it's the part of my day I look forward to. That means your dog gets someone with the energy and genuine enthusiasm to keep up with them, not just clock in and out. I grew up with a golden retriever and was the one taking care of him solo whenever my parents traveled for work, so I've been the trusted "person in charge" since I was a kid. I offer dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits & house sitting, and I'm comfortable with everyone from high-energy pups to laid-back loungers. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some company, or a full day of play, I'll treat them like my own. Can't wait to meet you both! As a grad student with a flexible, largely home-based schedule, I can give your pet real attention and keep to their routine. Through the summer I'm generally free all day, every day, except Sunday mornings. Because I'm home and around for most of the day, I can stick to your pet's normal routine — feedings, walks, meds, and play at the times they're used to — and send you updates and photos so you always know how they're doing. If you have a specific schedule you'd like me to follow, just let me know and I'll build my day around it. Doggy day care: I'm in a comfortable 750 sq ft one-bedroom apartment with easy access to Rittenhouse Square, so your dog gets a cozy home base plus plenty of nearby green space for walks, play, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. They'll have my attention, a steady routine, and regular trips outside rather than being left to lounge alone. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. I also like to know their favorite toy and how they usually like to play or spend their day, so I can match their normal routine rather than disrupt it. Clear instructions are always welcome — I'd rather follow your way of doing things to the letter.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have been taking care of them. Currently have two cats and two dogs. My wife calls me the cat whisperer. I work full time Monday through Friday but can stop before and after work as needed. I can be fully flexible on the weekends as needed. Our current animals eat twice a day and the cat’s litter box is cleaned daily. The dogs need walks and everyone needs cuddles. I change the litter fully bi-weekly.
“Chris has been an amazing support while taking care of my Husky Blue. He is reliable and uses clear communication to ensure I understand how my dog is doing every day. Chris is punctual and able to meet a demanding care request (5 days/week). We are lucky to have him.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from chihuahuas to Rhodesians. I have a cat of my own. I also recently adopted a new puppy Ivy! I work three days a week for four hours at a time! I am flexible with my schedule and will do my best to accommodate last minute if need be. Making sure that they are getting adequate time to play, walk, and rest. Feeding them at their meal time. Adapting to each pet’s specific needs.

About: Hi 👋 My name is Megan. First-time Rover user, long-time animal lover. I grew up with dogs, guinea pigs, and rabbits. After moving out, my first cat walked (quite literally) into my life. Currently, I share my home with 4 cats (2 senior, 1 adult, and 1 kitten) as well as 4 guinea pigs. I’ve spent years helping my aunt foster disabled animals, so you can be at ease knowing your pet is in capable and experienced hands. I know how stressful it can be to entrust the wellbeing of your furry family member to someone, so I strive to make the experience as stress-free as possible by maintaining prompt, open, and consistent communication tailored to you (photos, videos, short text updates, notice of arrival/departure, etc.) I have a hybrid schedule, so I am available most days of the week (M-W). Most weekends I am local and have availability, so if you need weekend care, I’m a good fit! I can drop in early mornings, during lunch, or later in the evenings. We can tailor the communication frequency to your liking. I can send updates via pictures, videos, and/or short notes. For both security purposes and reassurance for both parties, I will send notice of arrivals and confirmations of departures.
City Center West dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kathrine was great with our pup! This was actually our third time asking her to take care of our dog and cat, and once again she was wonderful. We were on an international trip and had absolutely no worries knowing our pets were in such good hands. Kathrine made sure our pup was well walked, cared for, and happy, and communication was always great. Very reliable, friendly, and trustworthy. we will definitely ask her again!
Cali is so kind, gentle, and patient. This was the first time we ever had a Dog Walker and our pup was nervous but she warmed up to Cali quickly. Cali was also prompt and great with communicating the details of their time together and sending pictures to make us comfortable while we were away!

Anne has been walking our senior, blind dog for the last year and a half, 3x per week and has been amazing! Being blind and having extra needs, Anne has been incredibly sweet and detailed in caring for our dog and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking for care!

Chris has been an amazing support while taking care of my Husky Blue. He is reliable and uses clear communication to ensure I understand how my dog is doing every day. Chris is punctual and able to meet a demanding care request (5 days/week). We are lucky to have him.
