About: Having grown up with a dog in the home, I love the little moments of joy with our canine friends but also understand the attention and care each dog needs. Whether your pet is rambunctious and playful or needs more gentle care, let me know how I can best make them comfortable and happy. My availability varies seasonally; I'm an educator, so normally my weekday availability is limited to late afternoons and evenings. Weekends are very clear and flexible for me. In the summer, my schedule is wide open, so feel free to book me for those much-needed summer vacations! When I am dropping in to your place or staying to house sit, I approach your pet -- especially one who's new to me -- with care and gentleness. I double-check instructions each day to make sure I provide top-quality care.
“Ari was exceptional! She was amazing with our two year old ‘puppy’. Her communication was excellent. She kept us updated on everything and observed lots of little details that gave us great confidence she was on top of everything. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for them both personally and through pet sitting. I grew up with two Labrador Retrievers, and my parents currently own a pit bull, so I'm comfortable with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Being a dog owner has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, exercise, and understanding each dog's individual needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've walked dogs and provided dog-sitting services for others. My experience includes feeding, administering fresh water, taking dogs on walks, providing playtime and companionship, following owners' routines, and making sure pets feel comfortable while their families are away. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule and to give owners peace of mind through dependable, attentive care. I'm a big animal lover, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers a slower pace and lots of attention, I'm happy to adapt to their personality and needs. My goal is always to make sure your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I recently moved to the city and currently have a flexible schedule before I begin graduate school at the end of September. This gives me plenty of time to provide reliable, attentive care for your pet. As a big dog lover, I'd love the opportunity to spend my days going on walks, playing, and keeping your pup company while you're away. When caring for pets, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. In a client's home, I'll follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any other preferences you have for your pet. I'll also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while keeping your home clean and respected. If your pet is staying with me, they'll be treated like part of the family. They'll have a safe, comfortable environment, regular walks, lots of playtime, and plenty of love and supervision. I know every pet has a unique personality, so I always adapt my care to meet their individual needs and make sure they feel happy and at ease.
“Sabin was absolutely great in walking my Ellie. I had an odd situation where I needed a walker while Ellie stayed with my elderly Dad who could not walk her easily. Sabin was very accomodating and left a very positive impression on both me and my Dad. He was professional, kind and trustworthy. I will definitely contact him again in the future.”
About: I have experience dog sitting and walking dogs for the past 7 years. I used to compete in dog shows so I have experience training many different types of dogs. As a dog owner myself I understand that a pet is family and will treat your pets like one of my own! I am a medical student who has the summer off so I am free all days of the week until August to care for your pets. I treat my clients home with the utmost respect and abide by the rules of the house. I ensure your pet feels comfortable with someone unfamiliar and create a safe environment for them.
About: I'm currently a grad student with a flexible schedule, and honestly, time outdoors with a dog is my favorite way to recharge and get away from the screen. A good walk or an afternoon of play doesn't feel like a chore to me — it's the part of my day I look forward to. That means your dog gets someone with the energy and genuine enthusiasm to keep up with them, not just clock in and out. I grew up with a golden retriever and was the one taking care of him solo whenever my parents traveled for work, so I've been the trusted "person in charge" since I was a kid. I offer dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits & house sitting, and I'm comfortable with everyone from high-energy pups to laid-back loungers. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some company, or a full day of play, I'll treat them like my own. Can't wait to meet you both! As a grad student with a flexible, largely home-based schedule, I can give your pet real attention and keep to their routine. Through the summer I'm generally free all day, every day, except Sunday mornings. Because I'm home and around for most of the day, I can stick to your pet's normal routine — feedings, walks, meds, and play at the times they're used to — and send you updates and photos so you always know how they're doing. If you have a specific schedule you'd like me to follow, just let me know and I'll build my day around it. Doggy day care: I'm in a comfortable 750 sq ft one-bedroom apartment with easy access to Rittenhouse Square, so your dog gets a cozy home base plus plenty of nearby green space for walks, play, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. They'll have my attention, a steady routine, and regular trips outside rather than being left to lounge alone. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. I also like to know their favorite toy and how they usually like to play or spend their day, so I can match their normal routine rather than disrupt it. Clear instructions are always welcome — I'd rather follow your way of doing things to the letter.
“Allison was awesome with my pup! She arrived on time, took him on a great walk, and left him happy and tuckered out :) Super communicative and willing to adapt to my dog’s needs. I’ll be booking her again!”

“Ben was a great pick to take care of my pups. He was very responsive and enthusiastic . I unfortunately did not have enough food at the house and Ben offered to go out of his way and pick up some dog food. He went above and beyond ! Would highly recommend .”

“Thank you, Brittany. We are so grateful to you for taking care of Daphne - and we loved the pic and updates. It was a relief knowing she was i. Your hands!! Many thanks!”

“Taylor is such a sweetheart. She met up with Cindy Lou before she walked her and got to know her better. She made my Duracell bunny of a puppy feel super safe, calm, and gave her plenty of snuggles. Cindy sometimes chews through stuff when we’re not home but none of that happened yesterday. She looked super happy after her walks with Taylor. I’ve already booked another walk with her. 🐾”

“Kristina was communicative and great with my dog! She took him on a long walk and gave me lots of updates and pictures, highly dependable and great communication!”

“Lydia was great! She was able to accommodate dodgers walk last minute too. She took great care of my pup and was super responsive! I’d definitely hire her again :)”

“I needed someone last minute to help walk Buster and Jenny was so quick to respond and help out. Our boy looked happy and even our cats got some attention while she dropped in. She’s easy to work with and very communicative. Thank you Jenny!!!”

“Nicholas is great. He has been great with both my dogs. One of my dogs is reactive and just got back from a month long board and train and has been great helping me keep her on her training. They are always in great moods when I come home.”

About: I am an experienced pet sitter based in Philadelphia with over 15 years of caring for dogs and cats. I also have five years of combined experience working and volunteering in animal rescue and veterinary medicine, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and well-being. My pet-sitting journey began in high school. I cared for the pets of family members and neighbors by walking dogs and checking in on cats. Since then, I’ve cared for dozens of pets through referrals and word-of-mouth. Those experiences have given me the confidence to work with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities. My background has also taught me how to safely administer medications, recognize early signs of illness, and respond calmly to each pet’s unique needs. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, senior, or requires special care, I strive to provide the same level of attention and compassion I would give my own pets. What sets me apart is my commitment to giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I understand how important it is to have a dependable, responsible sitter you can trust, and I treat every home and every pet with the utmost care and respect. When I’m not caring for animals, I enjoy hiking and photography. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and plenty of photos so you can see how your pets are doing while you’re away. My goal is to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, well cared for, and ready to greet you with lots of cuddles when you return home. Caring for animals isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I look forward to meeting you and your little (and big!) loved ones! Pet care is my calling. It’s what I want to do full time! I am working full time but looking to leave my current position to fulfill my passion with animal care. I can still walk dogs and care for them now with the schedule I have. I take watching animals very serious and understand every pet has their own quirks and temperaments. I follow rules diligently and will respect your home, as directed.
“Nicole was very communicative about scheduling and was great with Izzy! I felt comfortable leaving him in her care for walks, even though he can be quite the handful. Thank you so much Nicole!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - City Center West
Megan was fantastic! Milo absolutely loved her. She was very communicative and responsive, always sending cute pictures and giving a detailed report of the walk. When the weather kept them from walking, she would play with Milo at home instead. She always made sure Milo had fresh water before leaving and was very attentive. We highly recommend her. It was a pleasure working with her!

Sydney was an absolute trooper getting the harness on my dog. Penny was very skittish about someone else putting it on her, but they were super patient and had a successful walk! They also paid great attention to the house alarm system/lock and had no issues with following directions. Would highly recommend for their calm, patient, and caring attitude!
