About: I am a proud dog mom to a Siberian Husky and two Alaskan Malamutes, so yes… I have a soft spot for the big, fluffy, strong-willed breeds! The bigger the pup, the better in my book. With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for large breed dogs, I understand their energy, intelligence, loyalty and their need for structure, exercise, and love. Whether it’s long walks, play sessions, belly rubs, or keeping up with routines, I’m all in. I truly believe pets are not “just animals.” They are FAMILY. They deserve patience, respect, nurturing, and protection just like any loved one in your home.
About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. I began seriously helping with the feeding and walking of our family dog around the age of 12. Since then I have cared for the pets of babysitting clients, friends, and family members. I have housesat and cared for large and small dogs, as well as cats, fish, and even chickens. In addition to being comfortable with feeding and walking pets, I also have experience with delivering medication to cats and dogs. I am a teacher currently on summer break so I have ample time to spend with your pets! After September starts I am available for early mornings, afternoons after 3:30, and on the weekends. While in your home I easily adapt to your preferences for the space and how your pet is most comfortable. My goal is always to ensure your pets have as smooth a transition as possible to a new person spending time with them, and that you feel at ease as well.
“Wayne is reliable and an excellent communicator. There was a miscommunication that was completely our fault which resulted in Wayne not actually taking Lacey for a walk, but he showed up and was obviously ready to do the job. Our dog showed instant trust and affection for Wayne, and she is a good judge of character.”

About: I’ve taken care of my friend’s frenchie while he was away on vacation. I have tons of family who owns cats including having one of my own that I look after. Right now I am currently unemployed so I can mostly pet sit any day of the week. I prefer days that aren’t on the weekends but I’m still open to any position available When it comes to petsitting in other peoples houses I will always ask about their pets boundaries as well as the owner’s and where the pet is and isn't allowed to be in the home. I like getting a good idea of the relationship of the owners and their pets so I can best care for their friend
About: Having grown up with dogs and cats (...and a couple birds and a hedgehog), and working in pet care/pet sitting on and off for about 12 years I've seen and known a lot of weird, wonderful, sweet, and silly pets. I think my attention to detail sets me apart. I want to know what keeps your fur babies calm & happy. I want to know what stresses them out so we can steer clear: whether it's the sound of skateboards or rolling suitcases, fellow wildlife, or even people. I'm ready to redirect your nearly perfect pet away from their favorite forbidden roadside snack. I also have experience administering medications. I look forward to working with you! I currently do pet care and pet sitting part time and some other gig work (varies from week to week) while I look for other full-time work. I aim to mimic your pets lifestyle when they're in my care to make things as comfortable as possible for them. We're gonna cuddle, we're gonna play!
About: I’ve always known how to interact with animals and kids. Dogs + Cats tend to be very interactive & trusting with me. I love making animals feel comfortable ! I have open availability & am able to pet sit whenever is needed ! I can do potty breaks every 2-4 hours & I have supplies for anything your puppy or cat may need. I have an open space where your pet can roam freely & or stay with me :) if by any chance you are worried about he or she, I can do check ins. I will have toys, food & water available at all times to make sure they are comfortable.
“Christel was great! Titus can be anxious at times and was not always ready to walk with Christel, she showed patience and understanding. She provided photos and updates..”

“Bryce was fantastic with our dogs—he handled three 30-minute walks, sometimes going a bit over without any issue or extra charge. He’s professional, easy to communicate with, and follows instructions closely. We felt completely comfortable leaving him with access to our home, and we’d gladly work with him again. Highly recommended!”

About: I have had pets since I can remember, and I have 10 years of active pet sitting experience. I have 6 years of care and training experience with anxious and reactive dogs and love tending to pets’ specific needs! I work remotely and am in school part time, so I will have plenty of time to walk, play, and spend time with your dear ones. My schedule is more flexible in the weekends, but weekday availability is not an issue. I am very attentive and respectful of clients’ house rules and care instructions. I love taking time to make sure pets are more than adequately cared for, including going on walks, having play time, cuddle time, and sending daily updates.

About: I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a kid, when my sisters and I had a menagerie of lizards, hermit crabs, rabbits, fish, and a dog named Cookie. As a teen, I pet sat for a wide range of dogs and cats. Then as an adult, I worked at a “doggy day care” where I managed groups of 15-20 dogs at a time, as well as doing feedings and administering medications. This was also when I met and adopted my rescue dog, Socks, who has taught me a lot about learning to work with dogs with various anxieties or temperament issues. I am a PhD student in the Philadelphia area, so my work schedule is extremely flexible! I also have consistent access to a car, so I can travel quickly as needed. I have a fenced-in yard and a large apartment, but I would prefer to come meet your pet in their comfort zone at home! I am happy to do multiple check-ins per day, or stay over night as is necessary/helpful. Whether your dog wants to hang out on the couch or explore the neighborhood, I am down!

“Rachel was a truly outstanding dog walker! She treated my dog as if it were her own, and constantly went above and beyond. If I could I would rate her it would be 10/10 stars. Rachel was always on time, patient with my dog, and gave her a great walk every day! My dog can be very energetic, and a handful. Rachel handled her like a pro, and always gave me daily updates. She always said the good and bad things which would happen on the walks, and would share lots of photos! I appreciated the feedback, especially since it was so hard leaving my dog. Rachel would constantly go above and beyond to make sure my dog had the best care and walk she could give, even taking her on extra long walks for free just because she loved walking dogs so much. Overall, Rachel is a phenomenal dog walker and I would trust her with my dog any day.”
About: You ever notice how whenever you meet a stranger's pet you always ask for the pet's name but never ask for the owner's name? I am a cat mom to a sweet, snuggly, chatty tuxedo lady named daddy. And I'd love to meet your fur babies! I've cared for many friends' pets over the years. It's always fun to learn the silly nicknames folks come up with for them, their different personalities, quirks, and where the good scritchy spots are! My schedule changes a lot from week to week, so some days and weeks are more flexible than others. I require a couple days notice to book and am super reliable to being timely with my work, social, and pet care commitments. I have experience with administering pet medications as needed. Be prepared for pictures! I'll get their best angles and try to catch them in the middle of all of their silly antics.
Haddington-Carroll Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Christin was great, she walked into an unexpected challenge with the leash and handled it well. Zeus is a large dog with a playful puppy spirit. Zeus bonded quickly and she seemed to have a genuine care for him. She provided some recommendations and later followed up with more suggestions. We highly recommend her services.

Sofia was amazing with Liam and Cowboy! She took them out for a full hour and gave them so much love and attention. The boys came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. Sofia was on time, communicative, and incredibly kind—we couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter. We’d happily book her again and highly recommend her to others!

Sheila is AWESOME! She was prompt to respond, courteous, friendly and attentive. She was on time to take my high energy English Bulldog puppy out for walks. She went above & beyond in the attention she gave my dog. This was my first time using Rover and she was great at guiding me through the process. Her communication was direct and clear. She is fantastic and I certainly will be hiring her for future needs.
