Safety, trust & environment
I may be the cool dog aunt, but I run a tight ship when it comes to safety. I follow your dog’s routine to a T: meals, meds, walk times, and even their preferred windows for dramatic staring sessions. Before walks, I do a full “mission prep”: leash check, harness check, door check, and vibe check (mostly for me, but still). No off-leash adventures, no risky meet-and-greets, just safe fun and supervised cuddles. When I leave, I make sure your pet has water, your home is locked, and your dog is living their best, safest life until you return.

Information Rachel Z. would like to know about your pet
Please inform me of any food allergies, resource guarding and if your pup is easily frightened. Medications are also important if your pet is currently on anything. Please provide a schedule if your pup is on one so I can follow accordingly.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks and explore new scenery while your pup can experience the new smells. Whether we walk on the busy Kelly Drive, or the quiet PennyPack trail. We will only go to places that are dog friendly. Low energy pup? Not a problem. We can catch up on the new season of Stranger Things with interval napping. In addition, we cannot forget the number of photoshoots that will be happening during our time spent together. Boops and belly rubs are included.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Rachel! your dog’s future cool aunt who lets them stay up past bedtime, gives them one extra treat (okay, sometimes two… don’t snitch), and hypes them up like they’re about to launch their debut album titled “Bark & Roll.” I’ve been doing this dog-care thing for years, which basically makes me a seasoned professional in: • translating barks into full conversations • assessing deranged zoomie energy levels • providing Oscar-worthy belly rubs • and knowing exactly when a pup needs a snack versus a life pep talk Whether your dog acts like a golden retriever or a tiny CEO with fur, I’ve seen it, handled it, and loved every version. I’m the auntie who will send you photo updates like your dog is on a world tour: close-ups, candids, action shots, behind-the-scenes content… you name it. You’ll get so many adorable pictures that your camera roll might file a complaint. Your pup will get structure, snuggles, safety, and the perfect ratio of chaos-to-cuddles. Basically: I will care for them the way I care for my nieces and nephews which is lovingly, responsibly, and with absolutely no regard for how many treats I hand out. If you want someone experienced, trustworthy, and obsessed with making your dog feel like the main character of their own sitcom… hi, I’m Rachel, and I’ve been preparing for this job my whole life. 🐾✨
Reviews

Our dog was happy to see Rachel. She took him on Finn on a lovely 30 min walk. Rachel is organized, sweet to our very large dog, and took good care of all his needs. Highly recommended!

Rachel did a terrific job with Otis! She sent us regular updates and was very knowledgeable about pet care. She was very flexible with timing of things and he had a great time with her. Would book again, thank you Rachel!!

Rachel came over for a meet and greet to get to know our dog’s routine which we so appreciated. Her communication leading up to the visit and on the day of the visit were excellent. She was patient with our dog and I would highly recommend her.

Thankful Rachel was able to accommodate a semi-last minute booking and seems to have had a good first walk/drop-in!
