“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. “Our dog is super shy and anxious about just about everything. Nicole and her husband were amazing. We had lots of messages and photos (Maple even helped with their Ikea furniture one day, smart dog!) She wasn't drinking enough water and they made sure she stayed hydrated by giving her stock and even using a syringe for a day or so to help. When I picked her up she was super excited to see me, but (and this is HUGE) she kept going back to them for scratches and to say hello. This never happens even to people that Maple knows well. Ana expertly administered the plethora of medications (oral and injectable) and checked Hannah’s blood glucose via glucometer. About: Stay cool while I take care of your pet, I work with pets full time so I am home a majority of the day tending to dogs and their specific needs. I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, trained or not, etc. I have a dog park near to me if that is a part of your dogs routine and grooming supplies on hand if you'd like your dog to be clean and smelling fresh the day they're due to go home. I never stop learning about dogs so you can rest assured knowing you have one of the best looking after your pets. I work with pets full time so I am home a majority of the day tending to dogs and their specific needs. I only have a few appointments mornings and from 3pm I have more time afternoons, I'm go out for 4 hours maximum to do my stuff. During the day the dogs get as much play time as they prefer and the weather will allow. I wake up early and the first thing I do is take all the dogs out to walk. Then we return to have breakfast and depends on the routine on each dog. I walk dogs usually 4 times a day, 3 long walks and 1 really energetic in the park near to my apartment.

About: I have been taking care of other people's strays and rescuing feral and street animals for several years. I can manage several animals simultaneously and accommodate all of their psychological and physical needs. I have provided care for Chinchillas, Ferrets, Rabbits, cats, and dogs. Dog walking was something I did for two years for my neighbors. I am currently a cat sitter, and provide drop-in visits. In the morning I will check on the needs of any animals ie food and water. I will play and walk with them for about an hour. I will have dogs with similar temperaments play with one another. After playing and walking I will make sure they eat and rest. About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. I began seriously helping with the feeding and walking of our family dog around the age of 12. Since then I have cared for the pets of babysitting clients, friends, and family members. I have housesat and cared for large and small dogs, as well as cats, fish, and even chickens. In addition to being comfortable with feeding and walking pets, I also have experience with delivering medication to cats and dogs. I am a teacher currently on summer break so I have ample time to spend with your pets! After September starts I am available for early mornings, afternoons after 3:30, and on the weekends. While in your home I easily adapt to your preferences for the space and how your pet is most comfortable. My goal is always to ensure your pets have as smooth a transition as possible to a new person spending time with them, and that you feel at ease as well.
About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Because of this, I’ve gotten to care for dogs of all ages - from newborn to older, in sickness and health. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. As for drop ins, I will treat your home with the upmost respect.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and family pets since I was in elementary school. As I got older I started taking care of neighbors and friends family's pets also. They relied on me to walk, feed, and watch them sometimes for days at a time in their home. I go to cosmetology school part time but I would be available on all my days off and after school if needed! I go to school tues-wed-fri at the moment. I care for pets how their owners would care for them. I ask what your dogs energy levels and food schedule is like and base my care upon their needs.

Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”
