“This was our first time using Rover and I think I picked a great dog lover. Tamikia was very responsive even with a last minute request. She also sent videos which helped ease my anxiety since we’ve never had anyone outside of family care for Lolo. I cannot wait to book again!”

“Sabin was absolutely great in walking my Ellie. I had an odd situation where I needed a walker while Ellie stayed with my elderly Dad who could not walk her easily. Sabin was very accomodating and left a very positive impression on both me and my Dad. He was professional, kind and trustworthy. I will definitely contact him again in the future.”
About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.
“Michael was fantastic! Another walker canceled on me with little notice and Michael was able to accommodate me at the last minute, coming to meet my dog the day after I reached out to him. He was great with my dog and included important details in his daily reports.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have been taking care of them. Currently have two cats and two dogs. My wife calls me the cat whisperer. I work full time Monday through Friday but can stop before and after work as needed. I can be fully flexible on the weekends as needed. Our current animals eat twice a day and the cat’s litter box is cleaned daily. The dogs need walks and everyone needs cuddles. I change the litter fully bi-weekly.
“Kaydee deserves more then the 5 stars alotted. She has made our family feel safe and at ease in taking care of our pup. He’s a large German Shepherd with a lot of energy and you can tell he loves her. I get a picture, update and message each day when she walks him. We are so happy and so is our boy!”

Pablo took to him soo fast! He looked soo happy and comfortable on their walk. It was nice to see all the photos along with updates about how he was doing. About: My sincere enthusiasm and practical expertise with dogs of all ages and demands are what make me unique as a dog sitter. I've been taking care of friends' and family's dogs for more than two years, making sure they were content, protected, and loved while their owners were gone. Additionally, I've volunteered at a number of animal shelters, where I've learned how to deal with dogs of all temperaments and needs—from energetic pups to elderly dogs in need of more care and attention. I've loved dogs my entire life, and I know how important it is to treat each one as though it were my own. I'm here to provide dependable, caring care that is customized to your dog's needs, whether it be companionship, following a training schedule, or making sure your dog is active and comfortable. As a college student, pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine because I have regular breaks throughout the day and a very flexible schedule. Whether it’s between classes or after school, I can dedicate my time to caring for your dog, ensuring they get the attention and care they need. My frequent trips back and forth from school give me the opportunity to check in on your pet multiple times a day if needed, making it easy to accommodate walks, feeding, playtime, and more. I’ve designed my schedule to prioritize flexibility, allowing me to provide reliable, loving care for your furry friend whenever it’s needed. I keep homes clean, maintain pets' routines, provide basic grooming if needed, and ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved during my care always!

Elmwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Helen is the best! She is knowledgeable, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. She provides great updates on walks, and is always responsive and easy to communicate with. I feel very comfortable knowing Hoagie is in her care. I would recommend Helen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Nicole was so great with my (not-so) little lady! She was extremely communicative and flexible, and always asked questions as needed and generally adapted to what Kasha needed. Kasha was still fully afraid of going down the stairs when we started having Nicole come check on her, and Nicole easily transitioned from hanging out and checking on her to taking her out. She was really warm and asked great questions during our meet and greet, and generally has great vibes! Will absolutely keep utilizing her services as long as she wants

Pascal is the sweetest and most reliable and personable walker that I have had for Chaos. He is always on time and he truly listens to any suggestions that I have about Chaos. Every time that Chaos comes back from his walk he is exercised and content. He wakes me up in the morning because he can't wait to see Pascal. He is actually learning new things and I can't be happier. I would whole heartedly suggest him for anyone who needs their dog walked.

Rebecca is the best of the best! She understands how Rosie works and allows Rosie to do what she needs to in order for Rosie to be comfortable. Love that she complimented Rosie on how much she improved since their initial visit. I think Rosie found a new friend!

Richard is great with my dog Nugget (corgi). He always shows up on time. Nugget loves him and she gets so excited for her walks. He’s very mindful of her older age and making sure she is going slower, stopping she needed, etc. Nugget loves her walks and we are so grateful Richard is able to help us out with her care!
