About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I got my first dog around age 11 and have had multiple dogs over the years, along with a ferret, hamster, and fish. I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Animals have always been a big part of my life and continue to be. I truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, and I always joke that one day I’m going to end up with my own little farm because I want every animal I see! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, or whatever a pet may need. My daily routine is pretty laid back, so I have the time and flexibility to give pets plenty of attention and care. I’ll be caring for pets in their own homes, where they’re already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I would always talk with the pet parent beforehand about their normal routine, what they’re allowed or not allowed to do, feeding instructions, walks, and any other specific needs. I’m big on following the owner’s instructions, keeping their pet safe and comfortable, and being respectful of their home and belongings.

About: I've been taking care of neighbor's cats and dogs since childhood, including overnight house sitting. I've had cats for most my life and have worked with big and small dogs, young and old, including dogs that need a lot of exercise. I have experience taking care of other domestic mammals like rabbits, chinchillas, rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and hedgehogs, as well as exotic birds and reptiles. I'm a big animal over; I majored and worked in wildlife conservation, and am passionate about domestic and wild animals. I work freelance, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I am able to stay home a lot and be with the pets. I have a car to get to people's homes easily for daytime checkins/walks. Depends on the client's specific needs but usually for housesitting I stay at the house and am home often, so I'm able to give the pets attention and care, and let them out for bathroom breaks and walks regularly as needed. I can do basic household stuff like take out trash, clean up after pets, water plants, whatever is needed.

About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

About: I am a proud pet parent to two fur babies, a pug and tabby cat. Our pets are important members of our family. Your pet will get the love and care they deserve while you are away. I know the importance of trusting a good pet sitter. I work part-time. I have flexibility in my day as well as evenings and weekends. I have a lot of availability in the summer as well. About: I love animals, basically all animals! I have grown up with cats and dogs, and feel that I know the ins and outs of the "pet world". I may have favorite breeds, but I love them all, both big and small- I love learning about new breeds, so bring it on! I have worked with pitties doodles, a jackchi, and Goldens so far from Rover! I would love to spend time outside, playing, relaxing, and exploring with your dog (and am happy to care for cats if you have those, too!). I am currently unemployed and looking for some part time gigs (like dog walking) to fill my days. I am very open during the weekdays in Roxborough. I will treat your pets and your home just like they are my own. Keeping things clean and tidy is a very easy ask for me.
