“Tina is so amazing that we want to keep her all to ourselves! ♥️ But that seems unfair so here you go… 1. Tina is a joy in person. Such a lovely human and easy to talk to. 2. She’s so good with dogs that she was completely unfazed by our big wildly energetic lab. They were immediate best friends and ready for adventure. 3. It’s so hard to find someone who is wonderful with cats too and cat would seem to be Tina’s second language. We came home to a blissed out cat who was energetic, lovey, and even put on a little much needed weight. Tina pays very close attention to an individual pet’s needs and our old special needs kitty is totally in love with her. 4. Pictures! Updates! 🎉 We had a consistent and lovely view of happy pets. 5. We are now calling her the immaculate house guest. Everything, and I mean everything, was pristine when we returned. It looked like a huge team of cleaners had been through the house. What an especially wonderful way to come home. All of that said, do not book Tina! We want her all to ourselves. 😉♥️”

We had a minor baby disaster and had to change our dates on Yoel at the last minute, and he was extremely accommodating. His communication is top notch and really eased our minds. We also had a problem with our gate refusing to open, and Yoel was a VERY GOOD SPORT about having to climb the fence, which we are still embarrassed about! #yikes Enthusiastic 5 stars for Yoel!!!”

She took such amazing care of our puppy while we were away for a week and a half, staying in our home and making us feel completely at ease! She sent regular updates throughout our trip, and we came home to a very happy puppy and an incredibly clean house. We would feel so lucky to have Elizabeth care for him again and cannot recommend her highly enough!!
Kristen was wonderful! This was our second time booking her to care for our four dogs and we couldn’t have been happier. It was so evident from the photos and updates she sent that our dogs loved her and felt comfortable and safe with her. Since all four of our dogs are rescues with traumatic pasts, their comfort with her is really telling and gives us incredible peace of mind when we’re away. Kristen also kept our house extremely tidy during her stay. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our time away knowing that our dogs were happy, safe, and being so well cared for.

Sarah is amazing! She is incredibly thorough, patient, and professional. She asked thoughtful questions about my cat that even I hadn’t thought of, and my cat was completely calm and comfortable around her. She also took amazing photos of my baby and was very attentive to everything happening in the house. She noticed and communicated anything that might need my attention, which gave me great peace of mind. I truly appreciate how caring, observant, and responsible she is. I highly recommend Sarah!
Julianne was INCREDIBLE!!! This was our first time using Rover for house-sitting while we went on vacation, so naturally I was a bit nervous. It was also the first time we left our 9-month old puppy, Sugar Plum. Julianne went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, with constant communication, tons of photos, and consistent updates. You can tell that she truly loves animals, it was clear that she was taking the best care of them like they were her own, and the dogs LOVED her. Erin was incredible and I’ll definitely be recommending her for other friends that are visiting NYC! She was incredibly communicative, very friendly and I felt very comfortable leaving our dog Sedona in such great hands! We got lots of photo updates, and to top it off she was able to give us recommendations on where to go out in the city! We were so very happy with Natalie! She clearly provided our dogs with exceptional care based on all the pics and updates I got, and she even got our nervous dog to eat all her meals, which she frequently wont do when we leave her with dog sitters. We had a busy vacation planned and I was so pleased that I didnt have to worry at all about our pups the entire time!
Shannon was great as always! I had a bunch of foster kittens and their mom, and managed to get temporary foster for the kittens, but thought it would be less stressful for the mom cat to stay in my home. Shannon was flexible and understanding about the last-minute additional cat, which was a big relief. We had a fun, relaxing trip knowing our cats (and bonus mama cat) were in good hands.
Megan was very communicative and pepper was happy and well when I returned home. Biggest thing is that pepper wasn’t warm and fuzzy when Megan arrived even though we’d done a nice meet and greet. Megan stuck it out and worked through Peppers anxiety when another sitter might have chosen to turn her over to my son who was willing to step in if needed. Now she and Pepper are friends despite the rough start. I’m very grateful!
Val was by far the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. She took exceptional care of our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away.
