“Megan was awesome - she took great care of our boys and our home while we were out of town. She is communicative and is active with the dogs which they loved! Would definitely book with her again and recommend her to others!”

“Bill was absolutely outstanding. He stayed at our place while we’re out of the country for a little over a week. He took incredible care of our two golden retrievers and sent many updates and pictures of them. He was prompt and took great care of our house while we were away. We will definitely be booking Bill again for his services!”

“Anthony is a wonderful sitter. He arrived precisely on time and listened carefully to our instructions regarding. our special needs dog, Norma. Anthony texted photos and reassured us that Norma had taken her medication. When we got home, we were pleasantly surprised to find her relaxed and comfortable, something she doesn't always exhibit even with us. We're glad we found Anthony and look forward to having him care for Norma in the future.”
“Nikki is definitely in my top 2 sitters on this app! ALWAYS on time. She sends pictures and updates throughout the day. Gives belly rubs to Jetta and is sooo nice !! Definitely recommend her services.”

“Sarah was amazing. She is helpful, kind, and creative. My newly adopted dog is struggling with separation anxiety; knowing I could trust Sarah to keep him engaged and happy while I was out of the house was such a relief.”

“Katelyn did an excellent job watching Sadie and Bogey. She provided many updates and photos during the stay and was able to provide appropriate care according to each dog’s specific needs. When we arrived back from our trip both dogs were happy and the home appeared to be well cared for. I would definitely recommend Katelyn for pet sitting and boarding.”

“Tina was an absolutely amazing sitter and kept us up to date with lots of photos and updates. The dogs seemed to have a great time with her and the house was clean and neat when we came home.”

“Christina was a great fit for our two senior dogs. Both are reactive and have leash anxiety, so having someone calm and comfortable with energetic dogs was essential. We’d definitely book her again.”

“Dana was phenomenal! Willis can be temperamental and Dana won him over immediately. He took every care with my dogs and I would definitely recommend him and continue to request him in the future. .”

About: I have experience taking care of dogs and cats for the past 10+ years! In the past 6 years I have also worked with other types of animals as well. I am a zookeeper so I have worked with a large variety of animals but specifically specialize in big cats! Have a lot of experience in understanding animal behavior and being someone families can rely on. I can be available before or after my work day (before 7am and after 6pm). I also have unique weekends so Tuesday and Wednesdays are fully available to help your fur friends. When coming to your home, I will treat it like my own, with respect and care. It is important to not only respect the space but also understand it is the animals safe space.
“Lora was a wonderful cat and house sitter. We were able to meet beforehand and she took note of the different kitty needs and personalities. I felt comfortable having her stay over and she kept me updated with photos. I returned to happy cats and a home in great condition. I will definitely rebook Lora if she has availability.”
About: Ever since I was little I have loved animals, so much so that when I was 12 I convinced my mother to let me get a dog, despite her fears of them. I raised, trained (haphazardly 😅), and groomed my dog from a puppy to an adult till she died of heart worms. After, I adopted my sister’s dog when she no longer wanted her. Grooming and taking care of her till I went off to college taught me a lot about caring for an older dog. In between dogs and even now I help my friends with their cats, feeding, grooming, and watching over them when their owners are out of town. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets and I am ready to tackle whatever yours may throw at me! I work part time mornings throughout the week so after I get off I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I can devote a great deal of time to walking or sitting. The more time you need the more time I get to spend with your cute fur babies making it a win/win. Typically I like to feed pets around every 3-5 hours, but I am perfectly capable of adhering to any sort of schedule or rules you may have regarding feeding times. I am extremely flexible so if there are any specifics when it comes to the care of your pet I will have little to no problem sticking to your routine.
About: I have had my own family dog, Mabel, since 2018. I have been pet sitting for my friends and neighbors for years. I’m always good for a long walk, playtime in the fenced yard, or just relaxing on the couch. I’m a college student home for the summer. I am available every day and night except Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-5. I am flexible to work around your schedule and what works for your pet. My friendly dog, Mabel, who is a Mini Goldendoodle will love to play with your dog in my fenced in yard. All pets will be cared for with my full attention and plenty of pictures will be sent your way!
“Angelica is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our two pups, even went on long walks with them. She also took great care of our home. We are very grateful.”

About: Hi from an intuitive Roxborough mom of a toddler and dog mom of 30+ years! I’ve had dogs my whole life and will care for your furry best friend(s) like they’re my own child. I used to board dogs in my NYC apartment back when Rover was called Dog Vacay, hence the reviews from a decade ago. Now that my kid is in preschool, we have a fenced yard and a sweet dog that plays well with others, I’m ready to start caring for dogs again. Now booking new clients for: —SOLO WALKS from 9am to 5pm within 19128 and very nearby. Weekend hours are much more flexible. I used to walk the biggest and most reactive Brooklyn shelter dogs, in addition to my own rescue pit bull who had a severe brain disorder and fear-based aggression. Once he lost all control of his limbs, I had no choice but to carry him up and down four flights of stairs. All to say: I feel well equipped to manage your pup, no matter their temperament or special needs. —IN-HOME DOGGIE DAYCARE *for one dog at a time* (in addition to my own super sweet Mini Aussie). Hours can be flexible once everyone knows each other and gets along. I work from home, have a fenced yard and can give them so much attention and playtime, even in the winter. I’d prefer a long-term arrangement with one regular client and would offer a discounted rate for that, but am open to drop-ins at $40/day. I’d require a complimentary meet and greet prior to booking. Our Freddie boy gets very stressed around a bunch of new dogs, so I assume perhaps other dogs do as well, hence my desire to have just one other dog here with him. He’s neutered and seems to really enjoy other dogs as long as it’s a 1:1 scenario. —OVERNIGHT BOARDING IN MY HOME. I’m open to requests for boarding your dog in our home, providing you trust them entirely around young children. Given that my child’s safety is my top priority, I’d always want to do a meet and greet before accepting the booking request. —WEEKEND-ONLY HOUSE SITTING AT YOUR PLACE. I can be there as early as 9am Saturday and can stay until 7pm Sunday. Worth noting that I have a car that could come in handy in the case of any emergency requiring a vet visit. I’m able to give oral medication. While I’ve never injected meds, I bet I could figure that out with a little guidance and practice. Can’t wait to meet you and your amazing dog! SCHEDULE: I work from home with my Mini Aussie, have a fenced yard for doggie daycare and am available for walks during the day from 9am to 5pm. Weekend hours are flexible. SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT: As mentioned above, our yard is fenced and I work from home, so am present and available for most of the day. Our Mini Aussie is neutered and always current on vaccinations. He’s a sweetheart, though I’d prefer to have a meet and greet prior to any new dog being introduced for a stay.
“Maria did a great job caring for Blu and Leo during her stay. She was attentive, communicative, and patient, especially with Blu’s crate training. I appreciated how smoothly the evening went and how she kept me updated throughout the night. I’d happily have her sit for my pets again!”
“Paige was awesome! We highly recommend her for any pet that you may have that needs to have a sitter. She is very kind generous and loving. Our dog continues to look for her in our house after she has been gone. We will be using Paige in the future if she is available when we need a sitter. Thank you Paige”

Roxborough pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had been looking for a dog sitter for our two dogs for a little while and couldn’t be happier with finding Ricky. From the first time that we met her, we knew she was the perfect choice for our dogs Tate and Penny. She took the time to come to our house for a meet and greet, and we spent so much time chatting about life and dogs, Tate and Penny and ourselves. Communications with her were very clear and timely, her pricing was very competitive, but more importantly was the way that she interacted with our dogs that made us feel so comfortable to let her stay in our home and spend the time watching our dogs. Both she and her fiancé, Joe know how to make the pups feel loved and provide the pets’ owners with the security that their animals are being taken care of safely. She provided us with photos daily. Ricky left our house very clean after spending the week here, and our dogs were clearly happy. We couldn’t be happier finding Ricky and Joe to help us when we needed them and we look forward to working with them in the future. We’d give them six stars if we could!!

Larry was absolutely fantastic! After another sitter canceled 4 days before our trip, Larry was able to be very flexible and help us house sit our two Golden’s for a week! He was very prompt during our meet and greet and during the stay, he gave us daily updates on our dogs! He left our house clean took great care of our boys while we were away! We will definitely be booking Larry for future sittings!
