Adventurous Dog Care with Tail-Wag
Hi, my name is Nico Dillman. I’m a graduate student studying GIS and currently living in Lafayette Hill, PA, while looking for a full-time position. I have extensive experience in animal care, handling, and administering medications from working at the pet humane society in Incline Village, where I loved seeing animals find great homes. I recently paused that role to focus on my graduate classes as well as my final capstone project. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, skiing, running, playing soccer or lacrosse. Let me help keep your furry friends happy and cared for!
Qualifications
Sécurité, confiance et environnement
I live in Lafayette Hill, PA, and while I’m unable to host dogs in my home, I have extensive experience caring for pets in their homes and at shelters. My background includes animal handling, enrichment, medication administration, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable in any environment. I always prioritize each pet’s individual needs, whether I’m in your home, out on a walk, or spending time with them during visits.
Notes et avis
Nico is the absolute best! Our plans changed last minute and he was so understanding. Our pups have the best time when Nico is here and he gives all the cuddles, playing and love they need.
Nico did a great job!
Great experience with Nico. Highly recommend
Nico is very friendly and great with my dog. She came back from their walk tired and ready for a nap.
Nico was fantastic!
Nico is amazing a true dog whisperer. We have two sweet girls but one has a little anxiety. We got home and she is so calm and happy. I know he took them both on so many walks and sent tons of pics to calm my anxious momma heart while we were away. Would absolutely recommend and will use again. The girls loved him!

Dates de la garde
I’m currently a full-time online student through Penn State World Campus, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home most of the day. Because all my classes are remote, I can easily organize my schoolwork around pet care — making time for morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening visits. Pets get consistent attention, exercise, and routine throughout the day.

- Understanding your dog’s energy levels, temperament, special needs, and any challenges with behaviors or outdoor weather is essential to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. At shelters, we use the FAS scale (Fear, Anxiety, Stress) to assess animals’ stress levels during different activities, allowing us to approach them appropriately based on their behavior. This knowledge helps us create a positive and tailored experience for every animal we meet.
