“This was my first time ever using Rover and Christina was so amazing to our two boys!!! She was easy to get in touch with and provided a lot of pictures of the cats! When we came home the boys were calm and happy!!! Will definitely be using her again!!!! Highly recommend 🥰”

“Rachel did a great job with my spoiled cat Bella and was respectful and conscientous with my home. I found Bella well adjusted and taken care of as if I never left her presence. Rachel is a very kind and caring pet lover. She kept sent pics and kept me up to date. Appreciated her help and would have her pet sit Bella again in a heartbeat.”

“Tina is so amazing that we want to keep her all to ourselves! ♥️ But that seems unfair so here you go… 1. Tina is a joy in person. Such a lovely human and easy to talk to. 2. She’s so good with dogs that she was completely unfazed by our big wildly energetic lab. They were immediate best friends and ready for adventure. 3. It’s so hard to find someone who is wonderful with cats too and cat would seem to be Tina’s second language. We came home to a blissed out cat who was energetic, lovey, and even put on a little much needed weight. Tina pays very close attention to an individual pet’s needs and our old special needs kitty is totally in love with her. 4. Pictures! Updates! 🎉 We had a consistent and lovely view of happy pets. 5. We are now calling her the immaculate house guest. Everything, and I mean everything, was pristine when we returned. It looked like a huge team of cleaners had been through the house. What an especially wonderful way to come home. All of that said, do not book Tina! We want her all to ourselves. 😉♥️”

About: Ever since I was little I have loved animals, so much so that when I was 12 I convinced my mother to let me get a dog, despite her fears of them. I raised, trained (haphazardly 😅), and groomed my dog from a puppy to an adult till she died of heart worms. After, I adopted my sister’s dog when she no longer wanted her. Grooming and taking care of her till I went off to college taught me a lot about caring for an older dog. In between dogs and even now I help my friends with their cats, feeding, grooming, and watching over them when their owners are out of town. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets and I am ready to tackle whatever yours may throw at me! I work part time mornings throughout the week so after I get off I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I can devote a great deal of time to walking or sitting. The more time you need the more time I get to spend with your cute fur babies making it a win/win. Typically I like to feed pets around every 3-5 hours, but I am perfectly capable of adhering to any sort of schedule or rules you may have regarding feeding times. I am extremely flexible so if there are any specifics when it comes to the care of your pet I will have little to no problem sticking to your routine.
“quanece and malik were amazing !! this is my first time hiring a rover and they were incredibly thorough, communicative, and easy to work with. i don't love leaving my animals but when i have to, they'll be the first people i reach out to :)”

“This was our first time using Anna as a sitter. She came one week ahead to meet our pup briefly to ensure it was a good fit. She sat for about 5 hours. Took him to the park for a big play sesh - so much that he napped the rest of the evening. Will use again.”

“Maria did a great job caring for Blu and Leo during her stay. She was attentive, communicative, and patient, especially with Blu’s crate training. I appreciated how smoothly the evening went and how she kept me updated throughout the night. I’d happily have her sit for my pets again!”
“Amanda was so great!! Our pup is anxious and weird, and it’s obvious that Betty really warmed to her. She gave consistent updates and pics too! Highly recommend”

“Areana continues to be the only one who consistently gets our pup with separation anxiety to eat and exercise every day that we’re gone! He obviously loves her dearly and we’re so grateful we found her.”

“Marisol is fantastic. Had a trip out of town for a night & she sent pictures of my two dogs keeping me in the loop with communication. Have a vacation coming up in the future and I’m utilizing her services again. Highly recommend.”

“Nicolle was fantastic. We were in a pinch for a sitter and she checked all the boxes and left our apartment just as we left it. Great pairing for our slightly anxious dog. Highly recommended!”

“We absolutely loved Stephen. My entire household was happy and comfortable with him within hours. He took my dog on great adventures, left my home clean, and gave every animal individual attention.”

“Jasmine was great with my, at times, stubborn beagle coonhound mix rescue. She sent reports and photos daily. He looked so content I don't think he noticed my absence!”

“Stephanie was amazing with Birdie. She was incredibly responsive throughout the stay and easily took care of any difficulties that arose. We could tell that Birdie loved Stephanie by the end of the stay, which made us very happy. She was also very thoughtful and considerate staying in our apartment!”

“Gabe took great care of our dog, Jaxson. Jax has special needs and requires meds and a routine, and Gabe was super patient and supportive during our absence. He sent pictures everyday and the house was spotless upon our arrival! Thanks again, Gabe!”

About: Hello neighbors, human and furry! My experience in pet care includes lovingly caring for a dog and cat of my own as well as over a year of work in a vet hospital as a kennel technician. There, I acquired relevant skills such as keeping dogs clean, fed, walked, and, most importantly, safe. I can accommodate senior and special needs dogs when given detailed instructions and I have experience giving oral medication and injections. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I can't wait to walk and/or stop in to check on yours while you're away! Fortunately being otherwise unemployed, I'm happy to tell you that my schedule is completely open to your pet's needs, whatever and whenever they may be. Care will be catered to each individual pet's needs according to the owner's instructions. I will keep a close eye on your pet to ensure they are safe and happy with me.
“Ceara was an outstanding caretaker for our pets (and our home!). We sincerely can't say enough positive things.....she gave our pets their medicine on schedule, tolerated their following her around incessantly, cared for our home including watering our plants, and her daily communications were always positive and friendly. We would request Ceara again without hesitation. Thank you to Ceara and Rover!”

“Shannon was amazing with our dogs!! When she got here she discovered one of our dogs was having pretty bad gastrointestinal distress. She had a few accidents around the house. Shannon went WAY above and beyond to clean up the mess and still stay to take care of the dogs for the night. Truly grateful for Shannon. She us very kind, professional, and our dogs loved her.”

“Christina was a great fit for our two senior dogs. Both are reactive and have leash anxiety, so having someone calm and comfortable with energetic dogs was essential. We’d definitely book her again.”

Tioga-Nicetown pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our second time using Olivia to stay the night with our two dogs, and she was great! She knows how to get dogs to feel comfortable around her (both of ours are a bit timid with less familiar people) and she sent us plenty of updates so we could relax while we were out of town. Highly recommend!

Nick is professional, calm, and very thoughtful in how he approaches both logistics and Lucy, which immediately put me at ease. While I was away, Lucy unexpectedly became sick. Nick noticed her decline and notified me immediately, administered her medication, stayed with her to soothe and monitor her, and communicated directly with the vet to make sure she was okay. I truly felt like she was in capable, caring hands during a stressful situation. He sent daily updates and photos, which meant so much, especially given Lucy’s health episode. His communication is clear and proactive, and he clearly takes his responsibility seriously. I would absolutely use Nick again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and professional dog sitter.

Maria did a wonderful job with our two fur babies. It ended up snowing while she was watching them, and she was very thoughtful about checking in to ask about any special considerations for the dogs in the wintry weather. She kept us up to date throughout the weekend with photos and videos, so we never had to feel worried about the dogs. We definitely hope to work with Maria again in the future!

Kettrell is wonderful with Peppa and always leaves my apartment in impeccable shape! She’s been watching Peppa (not the easiest dog to handle) for a few years now and I feel confident leaving my pup in her care. 100% recommend and will continue to book with her.

Anna did a great job with Bella and was communicative and professional throughout the process including the meet and greet all the way through to the end of the sitting session. She is responsible and trustworthy and I found Bella well adjusted and cared for. Anna was even kind enough to take in an Amazon package without asking. Bella and me thank Anna for making us both feel at ease. We hope to see her again for future sitting sessions!

I have a very difficult, traumatized rescue. He finds it very hard to trust new people, and is very reactive to strange dogs. For the last five years it’s been really hard for me to go anywhere because a boarding situation would freak him out, and most dog sitters aren’t willing or able to be patient and gentle enough to get through to him. Oliver was our answer. He has a sweet, patient energy that not only Jack but my other dog and cat also love. I finally feel like I have an option now to occasionally get away, and travel for work. Thank you, thank you, Oliver!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Justine was incredibly conscientious and took wonderful care of both our dog and our tortoise. She kept us updated with pictures throughout our trip, which really put our minds at ease. Whenever she had a question, she communicated promptly and clearly. We came home to a clean, organized house and a calm, happy dog who clearly felt comfortable and loved in her care. The spontaneous photo updates she sent were such a thoughtful touch and made being away so much easier. We highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!
