I am currently working part time so I will have more availability to walk your fur babies whether you need a morning or afternoon walk i will be able to spend time with your pups. About: Ever since I was little I have loved animals, so much so that when I was 12 I convinced my mother to let me get a dog, despite her fears of them. I raised, trained (haphazardly 😅), and groomed my dog from a puppy to an adult till she died of heart worms. After, I adopted my sister’s dog when she no longer wanted her. Grooming and taking care of her till I went off to college taught me a lot about caring for an older dog. In between dogs and even now I help my friends with their cats, feeding, grooming, and watching over them when their owners are out of town. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets and I am ready to tackle whatever yours may throw at me! I work part time mornings throughout the week so after I get off I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I can devote a great deal of time to walking or sitting. The more time you need the more time I get to spend with your cute fur babies making it a win/win. Typically I like to feed pets around every 3-5 hours, but I am perfectly capable of adhering to any sort of schedule or rules you may have regarding feeding times. I am extremely flexible so if there are any specifics when it comes to the care of your pet I will have little to no problem sticking to your routine.

I am a runner, so can comfortably provide services that will tire out even the most hyper of dogs! I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medication needs. I am open to multi-day bookings and very flexible with longer term care as well as shorter check-ins and walks 🩷 I have essentially full availability on Fridays and weekends; the only time I am not available is 6-10pm on weekdays, as I’m currently in school for massage therapy :) Anything outside of that window is fair game! I take a very attentive and energetic approach, making sure to put safety first in everything. I absolutely love dogs and am very eager to explore the city and get moving myself, so I see dog-walking and pet sitting as something I get just as much out of as you and your pet! I do not currently have any pets in my home, so would be open to boarding in the future at my place in Fishtown (granted, probably a better idea for smaller dogs and cats, as my apartment isn’t ginormous).

She handled their medications, multiple foods, and bathroom breaks without an issue and sent lots of updates while she was with them. Our dog in particular can be a hider/runner, so I wanted to make sure he was watched carefully and Alexandra did that and more. Ever since adopting our anxious dog, we have not left him alone with anyone but family because we were nervous how he would react. Alexandria is the first "stranger" he's been with and he took to her immediately, happily cuddling up with her! I look forward to being able to plan more time away knowing that our dog and cat will be well cared for, and knowing that they will be comfortable.
