About: I bring a strong veterinary background to pet sitting, with 4 years of vet tech school and 4 years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior pets who may need a little extra patience and care. Because of my experience, I’m confident with things like giving medications, monitoring health and behavior, and following detailed care instructions. I know what’s normal vs. what might need attention, which helps keep pets safe and gives owners peace of mind. I also understand that every pet has their own routine and personality. I work full-time Monday through Friday, so I plan pet care around early mornings, evenings after work, overnights, and weekends. This makes me a great fit for overnight stays, weekend care, and travel bookings. On weekdays, I’m available for evening walks, feedings, playtime, and medication after work, and I can provide overnight care starting in the evening through the morning. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and can dedicate extended time to pet care, including multiple visits, longer walks, and full overnight stays. I’m very organized and plan ahead to make sure each pet’s routine is followed closely. Whether it’s caring for cats, dogs, or pets with special needs, I make sure they get consistent attention, affection, and proper care built into my daily schedule. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. Before each booking, I make sure I understand feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, medications if needed, and overnight supervision. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I also send regular photo and text updates so owners know how their pets are doing. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I monitor behavior closely, keep pets separated if needed, and stick to their routine as much as possible. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, including puppies, senior pets, and those with medical needs. Safety, consistency, and communication are always my top priorities.

“Makaylah was great for Marcus. I really appreciated that she stuck to his puppy routine while I was gone so that he right away felt comfortable and safe with her. Even the staff in the front office of my building remarked how happy Marcus looked whenever they saw her coming in and out of the building with him on walks. She also went the extra mile and washed the sheets and remade the bed before she left. I will definitely request her for Marcus again!”

“We used Ari for 5 days for our dog Freddy , we had a destination wedding for my sister who was getting married and we interviewed with Ari in oct and we had a meet up with him and Freddy to just make sure he would be able to watch him for 5 days in our home because our Fred is comfortable in his own home and Ari has no problem accommodating and staying with him each night at our home. He was attentive and communicative lending up to his arrival day and while we were on vacation he made sure to send update and answer and of my million calls just to check in on our dog. I made sure to ask Ari if he wanted any food stocked in the house for himself to have while he was here and his only request was simple just lemonade . Once arriving home today our Freddy was as happy as can be our house looked the exact way we left it and we are already in talks to have him back again in May for our Mexico Trip !!! I can not recommend Ari enough to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter for a vacation trip or wedding or just to walk your dog !!
