A retired trained and certified dog trainer who specializes in positive reinforcement training. Until recently I volunteered at the local shelter and animal boarding location in my hometown where I worked personally on behavioral training for the dogs as well as did general animal care for a variety of species. I have experience with pet sitting for animals with special needs, including giving medication for a variety of conditions to different species. I work freelance, so I have an adaptable schedule that can fit your needs. The only times I'm unavailable are Sunday evenings after 5 pm and Thursday evenings after 8 pm. I prefer to have a Meet & Greet with the pet parent to speak about the care plan and expectations for their pet before we schedule a service. During the talk, we'd go over all the animal's needs, such as if there are any allergies I should know about, medications for their pet, as well as talk about the pet's regular routine. Keeping the pets (and their parents) feeling happy, secure, and confident is my number one priority. After all, they're an important part of the family and should be treated as such!
