I've taken care of animals since I was a child and my family always had dogs. I currently own two dogs who are my best friends. One of my dogs has had some behavior issues, so I have experience dealing with dogs that bite and have leash aggression. I promise to care for your pets like they were my own. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! I am happy to do meet and greets before booking.

Safety, trust & environment
For house sitting, I plan to live in your house unless directed otherwise and will spend the night for the duration of the house sit. I typically walk dogs 3-4 times a day. I usually walk first thing in the morning (7-9 am) and again around 4 pm, and these are typically longer walks. I take a smaller walk in the evening, around 9 pm before bed. If you're dog needs to be let out more often or has high energy, I am happy to provide an additional walk around lunchtime and even take them on a run or play fetch. If your dogs are sociable, I can also take them to nearby dog parks. For drop-in visits, I stop by your home and visit with your dog. I will give them attention, play with toys, and take them for a walk. If they need special medications or to be fed please let me know in advance. For dog walking, I can provide short and long walks, or a visit to the dog park. Keeping to your dog's routine is important, so please let me know what works best for them.

Schedule
I am an adjunct professor with a very flexible schedule. I typically work from home 2-3 days a week, so I have lots of availability to house sit or dog walk. On the days I have to go to campus, I usually leave between 8-9 am and return home by 4 pm.
