“Mary was WONDERFUL. I left my dog with her for 12 days, the longest I have ever been away from my dog. I had nothing to be nervous about as Mary kept me in the loop the whole time I was away. She was great at providing physical activity with my dog which is a huge part of her well being! They have a lot of yard space outside which is great for running around and made me feel comfortable! She was professional and timely with answering any of my questions about my dog. Was receptive to any special requests I had made for my dog as well which was great! I would 100% book with her again if I am going away! Also she sends photo updates which I LOVED!”

“Mel was a fantastic pet sitter and put me completely at ease for my first time using a Rover pet sitter. Mel sent us many photos of our pup Enzo during the duration and was very easy to communicate with to coordinate pickup and dropoff times. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you Mel :)”

“Christin was amazing! I was a little worried because my puppy (Kiwi) is still very timid and suspicious of strangers, but Christin was very understanding and confident, that it was clear she's worked with difficult dogs before. “Kathy was super friendly and easy to work with, and she was AMAZING with my scared little chihuahua. She was gentle and patient, but also confident enough to help him be confident too. She was super communicative, and sent lots of pics and videos. I felt so much better on my trip, knowing that my little guy was safe and eating and doing all his business AND getting lots of pats and snuggles!!! I would 100% recommend Kathy to anyone, especially for nervous dogs (and people!). I think it was actually good for my dog to be around her dogs for a few days. If you're considering Kathy to board your dog (or provide any other service!), don't hesitate! She's the best!!”

About: Hi! We’re Electra and Crescent. We love travel, food and animals! 🐾 We’re lifelong pet parents who have shared our home with cats and dogs for decades. We currently live with three cats of our own (2 belonged to my late mother) Kiki the senior Russian blue, Helena the toothless full figured queen and Charles Mr. Humpty Dumpty. We genuinely love caring for animals and understand the unique needs of picky eaters, seniors, energetic and active animals or pets who prefer calm, low-stress environments. We call Charles our “special needs baby” since he is neutered but loves to hump his cat toy (Matilda) Kiki was my mom’s cat who is a senior and has IBD aside from her IBD (which we are managing) she’s a very quiet, laid back cat that likes her quality time. Helena was my mom’s cat and talk about food focused! Despite having only 2 bottom teeth this thick beauty don’t let that stop her! 🐾 I’m Electra and I’m available most of the day. My husband Crescent works Monday–Friday during the day (usually finished by late afternoon). This gives us excellent flexibility for pet sitting: • Boarding at our home: We can typically do pet pickups early evenings or anytime on weekends. • Drop-offs: You can bring your pet anytime. We can also do pickups for you Monday–Friday after 5 pm or anytime on weekends. Since I’m home I can provide personalized, attentive care for your furry family members. Whether it’s longer walks, extra play sessions, or simply quiet companionship for pets that get lonely, we tailor our care to what each animal needs. We board cats (up to 3) or small-medium dogs (up to 2) at a time. We have a dedicated spare bedroom that works beautifully as a cozy “cat hotel” or “doggie retreat” — complete with a litter box, cat tree, twin bed, toys and TV for background noise. Your pets get complete free-roaming access in this room with no crates. Privacy with one family at a time to ensure a calm, stress-free environment for your pet with access to ring camera for boarding stays. We’ll ensure that your cats have a freshly clean litter box daily, interaction multiple hours a day, great window view for birdwatching and followed feeding routine. Your dogs will have plenty of time outside, I’m available and can provide multiple walks and engagement throughout the day, with comfortable indoor space for relaxation and eating routines. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your furry babies are safe and in a controlled space. We offer Ring camera access so you can check in anytime, plus daily text updates with photos and details about how their day went. When we visit your home, we’re extremely mindful of your pet’s normal routines. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and playtime if they crave it, or respectful space if they prefer quiet time — always with their comfort and happiness as our top priority.
“She took great care of my needy dog, quickly learning his personality quirks and needs. She communicated regularly and provided lots of updates. I would definitely book again!”

“Winter had a very good time with them. He came home happy and energetic. Looks like he had lots of fun with cookie. Thank you both for taking good care of winter.”

“Emelie was an absolute lifesaver, taking Cody on short notice after another sitter had to cancel. Thankfully it all worked out well. She was extremely easy to connect with, kept us informed and Cody seems to have enjoyed his time w her and Violet. Thanks again Emelie. We’ll be booking again!”

“Cody had a nice time with Rhea and Argo (her dog). He’s pretty un-dog friendly, ignores them mostly, but Rhea took good care of him and Arlo gave him his space😂. Excellent communication. We have already booked with Rhea again!”

“Our Bruno was in great hands with Mel. She was very communicative and responsive throughout his stay and she provided many photo updates. Bruno was happy and exhausted after his stay and it was clear that he was in great hands. Would highly recommend her !!”

About: Hi, my name is Shandara. I live in Roxborough and I have a Standard poodle named Biscotti. Biscotti and I love to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen us around! Biscotti is so adorable and we love to try fun haircuts, so he tends to attract a lot of attention. I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, and fish. I’ve had my own dog now for 5 years and I’ve been trusted by many family members and friends to care for their pets. Having a fur baby myself, I understand the struggle and anxiety that come with needing to find the right care. We all hope for someone responsible and loving who will make our pet feel right at home. My hope is to be that person for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care so you can enjoy your time away knowing that your loved one is in good hands. I recently left my 9-5 in Investment Operations to pursue my dreams of working for myself. I’m home all day, every day of the week, so I have plenty of availability to care for your fur baby. Finding the right caretaker is an investment and you can rest assured you’re making the right decision with me! I have a small fenced in yard and one friendly dog who would be happy to keep your fur baby company. I’m happy to work with you to ensure your pet is safe & comfortable whether in your home or mine. Safety is a priority so pets are never left together unsupervised.
“Ronon has spent the day with Sam and her adorable pug, Petunia, twice now. Sam has a nice home and yard and a very chill vibe. Ronon was comfortable with her immediately. Ronon has big feelings and separation anxiety, so I'm very picky about who I leave him with. (Also, he has all the hops and can jump a five foot fence. Sam has a very secure yard.) When I pick him up, he is relaxed and happy! I'm very comfortable leaving Ronon with Sam and will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Mary is amazing, I keep going back to her. She gives great updates and is not shy on giving details. She cared for my dog in the snow and kept him happy and warm. She is so sweet and my dog was so excited to see her. I would recommend!”

About: I lead with positive reinforcement and animal advocacy. They're always telling us what they need, it’s just up to us to listen. Regardless of their needs, I adapt to their unique personality to ensure they're safe, comfortable, and happy. And, of course, I make sure to snap plenty of pictures to keep you informed of their stay! Pet care is my full-time focus! I'm always out and about keeping my own dog active and love welcoming an extra guest. Whiskey is a Canine Good Citizen, or as I like to call it, a Certified Good Boy. At 51lbs, he's gentle, polite, and completely content doing his own thing. Because he is so calm and respects boundaries, he's great at helping smaller and/or nervous pups feel comfortable. I also have two cats and understand the important balance of play with personal space. I live in a very safe area in an apartment with a park nearby. I have crates for boarding if needed but do my best to be home with them 100% of the time. There are plenty of blankets for cuddling and snuggles are welcome! For drop in visits, I bring the same dedicated care to your home. My goal is to keep their routine intact so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also treat your home as I would want someone to treat mine, ensuring it remains clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.
“Gabriella was fantastic, clear instructions to get to her apartment, easy to schedule with, and Murphy had a lot of fun sniffing around the apartment! Highly recommend for anyone that needs their dog watched and pampered.”
“Becky was awesome! Our dog clearly had a great time and came home tired after having a playful, active day with lots of attention. Becky was incredibly responsive from the time I sent the initial request, to providing us updates throughout the day, showing attention to detail and our dog's schedule. This did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated! Definitely recommend using Becky!!”

“Valerie and David did an excellent job with Leo's house sitting. They were on time and followed all the instructions. Leo loved them. I am looking forward to have more pet sitting with them.”

“Katie was an amazing dog sitter. She was very responsive through the rover app and sent us updates with the status of our puppy. My dog had so much fun playing with her pups (he came back and fell right asleep). We ran an hour late with picking up our dog and she was VERY understanding. I couldn’t ask for better service and I know my dog, Monty, can’t wait to play with her dogs again.”

“Janelle took great care of my pup! She shared plenty of updates and followed his care instructions. My dog had a great time hanging with her and Bentley!”

“Brody has been watching Wes on days when my partner and I both have to work on-site. He is flexible with timing and patient with Wes, who can get anxious sometimes when we leave him -- now Wes gets excited and leads us up to Brody’s front door! We know Wes is in safe hands when he is with Brody!”

I live in a spacious townhome with a fenced in yard, plenty of space for animals of all sizes. I’ve spent my entire life around animals and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Growing up with animals taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each pet’s unique personality can be. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or has specific routines and needs, I’m happy to accommodate what helps them feel most comfortable and secure. I understand that every animal is different, and I strive to provide the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own pets. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for bookings throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and afternoon visits depending on your pet’s needs. Because I’m in a transitional period while settling into the Philadelphia area, I have plenty of time to provide consistent care, attention, and routine for your pets. I’m happy to be flexible with last-minute requests when possible and will always do my best to accommodate scheduling needs. Please feel free to reach out with specific dates or times, I’m happy to work with you to find what fits best for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I want to spend time with a furry friend and get more involved in my community ❤️ I have lots of off days during the week, as I work weekends so this would be a great way to spend my time. About: I grew up with cats and have lived with dogs in the past as well - including a golden retriever and a Great Pyrenees! I have my own pet at home: a 5 year old orange tabby girl named Millie who has been with me since her small kitten days! I watch over cats and dogs alike for friends and neighbors and treat them with the same care I would the pets that have been my family. Fun fact: I'm also an artist when I'm not pet sitting! Some of my artwork includes pet portraits. I work for myself, so I decide my own schedule, which allows me to be fairly flexible. If I'm staying an extended time with your pets, I am able to bring some of my computer work with me so that they get company for even longer than a short walk or a little bit of playtime. I'm happy to care for your pets in your home. In my home, there's a very happy cat who rules the space, so I do not offer boarding at this time.

“Jake was very easy to communicate with and it was clear our pup was treated very well during her stay with him. We really appreciated him watching her on relatively short notice and we would definitely reach out to Jake again in the future.”
“Jacqueline was wonderful! She’s kind, patient, and clearly experienced with dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Ryan was fabulous. He made sure Bella was secure in her environment and felt comfortable and loved. He sent us pictures and kept us updated in her progress each day. He was a great dog sitter. He gave her lots of love, attention and exercise.”
