It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

Our house has great temperatures inside and outside I am at home most of the time, since I work from home. I can spent a lot of time with pets. Our neighborhood (Manayunk) is very safe and not noisy. About: As the child of an incredibly busy single mother, I had to quickly learn how to train my pets to avoid incidents on walks and messes at home. I've since gotten quite good at reinforcement training and re-call, and most animals tend to warm up to me pretty quickly. I work Friday and Saturday nights as a bouncer, but during the day my schedule is very open! I often walk my dog between jobs as well. I’m a teacher and have a flexible afternoon schedule during the week, especially during the summers. I am available most weekends and weeknights, but not during mornings. I have walked dogs big and small, and those who are both social and prefer to be left alone. I can be flexible to whatever needs your dog has on their walks!

“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

“Fran & Curtis were fantastic. They were strong, clear, and prompt communicators. We did a meet & greet so that they could get a sense of Bailey and I could get to know them. Then, during our dog's stay, Fran & Curtis sent us messages with photos to keep us posted. They are active and wonderful caregivers of Bailey - they did lots of walks and activities that kept her busy. I know she was well-loved and cared for while we were gone!”
“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”
