I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I got my first dog around age 11 and have had multiple dogs over the years, along with a ferret, hamster, and fish. I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Animals have always been a big part of my life and continue to be. I truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, and I always joke that one day I’m going to end up with my own little farm because I want every animal I see!

Safety, trust & environment
I’ll be caring for pets in their own homes, where they’re already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I would always talk with the pet parent beforehand about their normal routine, what they’re allowed or not allowed to do, feeding instructions, walks, and any other specific needs. I’m big on following the owner’s instructions, keeping their pet safe and comfortable, and being respectful of their home and belongings.

I had the pleasure of having Syketa care for my dog Sheba while I was away for my anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better person for my Sheba, Syketa was kind and generally caring, demonstrating great patience and understanding to Sheba's needs. Syketa paid attention to the detailed instructions that I left regarding exercise and care of Sheba while I was away. Knowing that my Sheba was in such capable hands gave me a peace of mind. I would recommend Syketa ,she is a trustworthy and dedicated pet sitter.

Schedule
I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, or whatever a pet may need. My daily routine is pretty laid back, so I have the time and flexibility to give pets plenty of attention and care.

- I’d love to know as much as possible about your pet before our time together! Please share their normal routine, personality, likes and dislikes, feeding schedule, medications or special needs, and anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. I’d also like to know how they interact with other animals and people, as well as any behaviors I should be aware of. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care.
