About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10! I’ve always had 3-4 pets at a time so I understand the high/low maintenance, the picky eaters, and the ones that need medical assistance. I personally have dogs that have medical issues and have to make sure their needs are met constantly. I’ve worked on a farm so I have great experience with all types of animals. Neighbors and friends rely on me #1 to walk, play, feed, and take care of their pets. I currently work part time. I will have plenty of time during the day to play, feed, walk your pups! I’m an early bird so if you’re looking for someone early in the mornings, I’m your girl! I will follow whatever your protocol is for your pets! I want them to feel as comfortable as possible with me. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends!

“Maureen was a life-saver. I am recovering from surgery and my Mercedes being an early riser with a specific morning routine. It was hard. She was extremely anxious with seeing me in bed and unable to carry her and keeping her morning routine was nearly impossible. She had become increasingly anxious. Maureen came in every morning on time at 6 am, let Mercedes out, fed her and walk her. She gave Mercedes belly rubs, lots loving and Mercedes calmed down. Maureen followed my directions, was puntual and gave TLC to Mercedes and was polite with us. She noted concerns when needed . Though minor, we were able to deal with the issues right away. Everything worked like a charm. I thank God that I was able to connect with Maureen and she was overall EXCELLENT. Mercedes calmed down and was excited to see Maureen. She took a load off us on the most difficult part of my recovery. Surely a God sent.”

He has a calm demeanor and he is extremely knowledgeable. He eased my worries and concerns. He is kind and meets my high expectations of who I want interacting with my dog. About: I have cared for animals for 20+ years and I have three years of professional experience working in a veterinary setting as an assistant for a doctor on the board of the Dallas Zoo, where we treated all types of exotics and household pets from monkeys to hyenas to anteaters as well as people's dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. I also spent 5 years fostering special needs dogs, as well as puppies, kittens, rabbits, and even a hedgehog! Having relocated to Philly and changing careers, I deeply miss taking care of animal companions! I have a cat and a big free roaming rabbit who are my babies, my housemates, and dearest friends, and in my free time I have a few neighborhood dogs I walk from word of mouth opportunities. I have experience giving medication, caring for seniors and special needs pets, and am comfortable with any level of caregiving for any temperament of pet. Whether you have goats, pigs, dogs, cats, birds, rats, rabbits, donkeys, or anyone in between, I'd love to be there to help support you and your pet's unique needs. I work evenings as a cook, 4 nights a week (which nights they are vary weekly), but I am always available in the morning, and I am very flexible around my work schedule, on days I am not at work, I am generally fully open! I am willing to work around the clock for your pet care needs! I do have a cat and a large free roaming access who have full access to my home, so if you have boarding needs, I need to be sure your pets do not have high prey drive, otherwise I will need to come care for them in your home! But my cat and rabbit are both extremely sweet and social and have been around all sorts of animals successfully. If I am coming to your home, just let me know your and your pet's needs and I will be there to assist and support in whatever capacity is needed!

About: Hi! I’m Fiona, a fun loving lady who would be thrilled to welcome your pup into my home. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I enjoy being around them and want to share my love for furry friends through Rover. I grew up with cats, and now I’m excited to make happy memories with pups too! I currently have a flexible schedule throughout the week which allows me to give your pup plenty of time, attention, and care. I’d love to be your dog’s second family and give them a safe, fun, and loving place to stay! I have a small, fenced backyard and porch, plus access to parks, perfect for walks, playtime, and fresh air. My spacious home gives plenty of room for indoor play and snuggles, so your pup will always feel included and entertained. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to send daily photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I also offer a Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, go over your dog’s routine, and make sure everyone feels confident before a stay. Crate trained dogs are optional, fine if yours isn’t!

About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

About: Hello! My name is Ryan and I grew up with many animals in the Poconos, but I've always had a passion for dogs. Now I'm in the Philadelphia area working full time at a doggie daycare in south Philadelphia. I am available Monday - Friday before 1pm for walks. I am usually unavailable on weekends for walks. Boarding can be accommodated with notice. I work every other weekend. I have a one bedroom with my partner in Germantown which isn't far from from my favorite hiking spots. It's a very walkable neighborhood with great gardens to observe.

I’m heading back to school in a few months, so I have plenty of time to help your dog exercise, or provide your dog company. Currently I have a cavapoo puppy who I am crate and potty training. In the past, my experience with animals tended to be adult animals.
