About: I've been taking care of neighbor's cats and dogs since childhood, including overnight house sitting. I've had cats for most my life and have worked with big and small dogs, young and old, including dogs that need a lot of exercise. I have experience taking care of other domestic mammals like rabbits, chinchillas, rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and hedgehogs, as well as exotic birds and reptiles. I'm a big animal over; I majored and worked in wildlife conservation, and am passionate about domestic and wild animals. I work freelance, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I am able to stay home a lot and be with the pets. I have a car to get to people's homes easily for daytime checkins/walks. Depends on the client's specific needs but usually for housesitting I stay at the house and am home often, so I'm able to give the pets attention and care, and let them out for bathroom breaks and walks regularly as needed. I can do basic household stuff like take out trash, clean up after pets, water plants, whatever is needed.

While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I enjoy being around them and want to share my love for furry friends through Rover. I grew up with cats, and now I’m excited to make happy memories with pups too! I currently have a flexible schedule throughout the week which allows me to give your pup plenty of time, attention, and care. I’d love to be your dog’s second family and give them a safe, fun, and loving place to stay! I have a small, fenced backyard and porch, plus access to parks, perfect for walks, playtime, and fresh air. My spacious home gives plenty of room for indoor play and snuggles, so your pup will always feel included and entertained. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to send daily photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. I also offer a Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, go over your dog’s routine, and make sure everyone feels confident before a stay. Crate trained dogs are optional, fine if yours isn’t!

About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! I live in an apartment with a lot of parks nearby that I would plan on taking your pet. I have a very friendly pup of my own that loves to play as well.

About: I raised my black lab from 8 weeks old. Not only is he perfectly trained but he’s the sweetest lover boy you’ll ever meet. My lab is roughly 90lbs now and I take him on runs and many walks through out the week. His name is Banjo and he’s almost 2 now and he’s my world. I’m currently working full time, so I’m free early mornings 6-8am for walks and weekends for boarding. I’m free for night walks between 5-9pm. I have a fenced in backyard my dogs plays in freely. He’s incredibly friendly and loves all animals. Feel free to provide a crate for you pup if that’s more comfortable for you. I have a gate to section the pups off in my kitchen if a crate does not work.

About: I had dogs as a kid and been a cat owner for the past 20. I can’t have a dog right now but would love to play house with yours I am currently job hunting so my schedule is wide open. I am looking for opportunities to WFH from your home. I am new to Philadelphia - this seems like a great way to learn more about the city I am interested in house/pet sitting for you.
