“Our pup Emmy greatly enjoys her walks with Jillian! She is great with our rescue and very responsive in communication. Also gives helpful updates on how Emmy did. Will definitely book again!”

“Matthew was kind enough to walk both of our dogs with little notice on a holiday weekend. He was very patient despite one of our pups being a bit stubborn. We really appreciated his communication and would ask for his help again without hesitation. He’s a good man, and thorough.”
About: My name is Laura and I have been caring for and rescuing dogs on and off for over 10 years. I have experience with all types of small dogs including crate training, leash training, commands like “sit” and socialization training for the more challenging little ones. I am a fan of Caesar Milan’s training techniques and have worked with dog behaviorists to improve my craft. I am flexible and will crate or not crate a dog based on owner’s preference. I have an unfenced yard for play and potty on a leash but I also provide walks around the neighborhood. I will honor the owner’s requests to keep dog off the furniture or allow dog on the furniture. I am a strong believer in consistency to maintain a dog’s training. I will only board multiple pets if they are from the same family. I do not currently have any pets. I am a full-time teacher with normal working hours and I can provide a consistent feeding schedule and 3 walks a day. I work 9-5. I am able to provide 3 walks a day, 8am, 5pm, 9pm (for example). I may be able to provide midday walks depending on the week and the advanced notice. My home is very calm and quiet. I allow pets to approach me and I give them space as needed. There are no children or other pets in my home. Both doors to my house have two sets of doors (through the porch and the kitchen) which help prevent escapes if you have a pet who frequently tries to escape.
“Julie is great with Buddy! She has sat with him, given him his meds, walked and played with him. She makes sure I get photos and videos to check in. It’s nice to know there is someone reliable and caring to help with my big, goofy, neurotic dog.”

“Brian is great with our 2 beagles, although Callie is still warming up to him, it’s nice to see how he gets her to trust him more and more each visit. He’s patient and waits for her to come to him and he is always pleasant and talks and treats the dogs gently.”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and my wide range of experience. I’ve cared for everything from playful puppies to senior dogs with special needs, tiny breeds to dogs over 100 pounds. I’m confident handling all kinds of personalities and energy levels, and I always adjust my care to fit each dog’s needs. I’ve also had dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. Pet sitting isn’t just a side job for me it’s something I truly enjoy, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine right now! I recently graduated and am currently studying for my board exam to become a licensed physical therapist, so my schedule is very flexible. I enjoy using study breaks to get outside, walk, and spend time with pets it’s the perfect way to reset and recharge. I have plenty of availability throughout the week and love building consistency with pets and their routines. I care for every pet like they’re part of my own family. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their routine closely including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions and I always give them my full attention. I also keep the space clean and make sure they’re calm and happy while their owner is away.

“First time I ever used a dog walker . Even know I only needed Jamie a short time she is very reliable and trustworthy. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my 3mo old puppy. Anyone needing a sitter or walker Jamie is your girl. Thank you Jamie”

“I am so relieved to have found someone who was able to connect with my 20 month old 110 lb white Shepard. Kimba has a traumatic history and I have worked really hard to rehab him mentally since adopting him a few months ago. He immediately took to Anthony and put his fear-based aggression aside. Anthony constantly sent me updates with photos and followed all my requests to keep Kimba on his daily routine. I highly recommend Anthony to care for your dog.”

About: I love pets. Dogs will have fun at my place with a fenced in yard to run around in, and kids to play around with. I do have cats, but they generally stay away from dogs. If the dogs are comfortable with my cats, they will be allowed to interact. Dogs are allowed on furniture in my place, but if you prefer your dogs not to be allowed on furniture, I will follow your guidelines. As for walks, I love getting out and about and discovering places dogs like. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and I do not get intimidated by barkers. I have never met a dog who did not like me. I like to show dogs respect and kindness, so that they feel comfortable around me. For my boarders, if requested, I can add grooming services. I will personally do their bath, and can have a groomer do their cut at the salon where I occasionally work. Price can be added to the boarding. I work part time at a pet grooming spa, only 1 or 2 days a week, on those days, my husband is able to care for all boarders since he works 3rd shift. Our 20 year old daughter also lives at home, so there is always an adult home. I have a fenced in yard, but my fence is a bit low, so all dogs are watched when they are outside. I also have a long lead I can attach dogs to in my yard. I have transportation in case of an emergency. I like to know the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of all pets in my care, so I can accommodate them as best as possible.

“Michael was wonderful with my dog Shelby. He showed up on time each day, and was gentle and patient with her. (She was reluctant to go out sometimes). He communicated with me each day about how it went. Shelby acquainted herself quickly with Michael and started to look forward to her walks. I would highly recommend him. He's definitely a dog lover and is responsible and communicative. Thanks Mike!”

“Jennifer was very accommodating. She sent pictures and updated me before and after Samson's walk. She even squeezed me in for a last minute walk while my trip was delayed. We will definitely be using Jennifer again”

“Amy is fantastic! I NEVER worry about my two babies when I go away. Amy shows up when promised, she sends updates and my babies love her! Amy is responsible with my house keys and coming in and out of my house letting me know everything went fine and I will and do use her over and over. I would recommend Amy to any of my Dog parent friends!!!”

Wissanoning dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was a great pet sitter! She made sure to schedule a meet & greet beforehand, which I really appreciated. Our dog Wrigley, felt super comfortable around her and I knew I could trust her to take really good care of him while we were out. Jessica followed our instructions perfectly and her communication was stellar. Overall, it was a really great experience. Thank you so much Jessica!
