“Julie is great with Buddy! She has sat with him, given him his meds, walked and played with him. She makes sure I get photos and videos to check in. It’s nice to know there is someone reliable and caring to help with my big, goofy, neurotic dog.”

“Matthew was kind enough to walk both of our dogs with little notice on a holiday weekend. He was very patient despite one of our pups being a bit stubborn. We really appreciated his communication and would ask for his help again without hesitation. He’s a good man, and thorough.”
“We booked Jillian 3 times now and she always goes beyond what we ask! She sends multiple pictures and gives great feedback about our dog. She is very comfortable around our dog and I trust her when she’s with him. We will continue to book her!”

“I am so relieved to have found someone who was able to connect with my 20 month old 110 lb white Shepard. Kimba has a traumatic history and I have worked really hard to rehab him mentally since adopting him a few months ago. He immediately took to Anthony and put his fear-based aggression aside. Anthony constantly sent me updates with photos and followed all my requests to keep Kimba on his daily routine. I highly recommend Anthony to care for your dog.”

About: My name is Laura and I have been caring for and rescuing dogs on and off for over 10 years. I have experience with all types of small dogs including crate training, leash training, commands like “sit” and socialization training for the more challenging little ones. I am a fan of Caesar Milan’s training techniques and have worked with dog behaviorists to improve my craft. I am flexible and will crate or not crate a dog based on owner’s preference. I have an unfenced yard for play and potty on a leash but I also provide walks around the neighborhood. I will honor the owner’s requests to keep dog off the furniture or allow dog on the furniture. I am a strong believer in consistency to maintain a dog’s training. I will only board multiple pets if they are from the same family. I do not currently have any pets. I am a full-time teacher with normal working hours and I can provide a consistent feeding schedule and 3 walks a day. I work 9-5. I am able to provide 3 walks a day, 8am, 5pm, 9pm (for example). I may be able to provide midday walks depending on the week and the advanced notice. My home is very calm and quiet. I allow pets to approach me and I give them space as needed. There are no children or other pets in my home. Both doors to my house have two sets of doors (through the porch and the kitchen) which help prevent escapes if you have a pet who frequently tries to escape.
About: I have taken care of dogs for about 4-5 years. For neighbors and family friends. They have relied on me to take them out for the bathroom, feed them, give them medicine (if/when needed, take them for walks. I'm currently working for the school district full-time and looking for a part time job while I'm there. A little extra cash doesn’t always hurt here and there. Trying to then move to full time in the summer. Since I can't have dogs in my apartment, I have always stayed at the clients house or popped in to take care of their pet. I'm comfortable with crating the dog. Some dogs that I have taken care of slept in their beds (not in crate) since they were older.

“Danielle has been great! She walks my chihuahua/terrier puppy 4 days a week and handles my 8 year old Tree Walker Coonhound with care. Danielle is always responsive and has always been flexible when things came up.”

“Michael was wonderful with my dog Shelby. He showed up on time each day, and was gentle and patient with her. (She was reluctant to go out sometimes). He communicated with me each day about how it went. Shelby acquainted herself quickly with Michael and started to look forward to her walks. I would highly recommend him. He's definitely a dog lover and is responsible and communicative. Thanks Mike!”

I have experience pet sitting and walking. I know how important it is to give our fur babies everything they need to feel loved and happy. I have personally have given medicines in case you baby needs a little extra love. I love cuddling, playing and just enjoy time with these babies. If you have cats as well as dogs I have no problem taking care of them as well. I also have experience with dogs that are energized like a lab and dogs that have anxiety like my Chihuahua. I am here to help and make sure your babies are well taken care of. I currently work a full time job but I have a flexible schedule so there is plenty of time for playful pups and lovable cats. I do not board animals because of my currently living situation. I also believe it is better for the pets to remain in their own environment for a pet sitting.
Mayfield dog parents share their Rover experiences
I use Matthew on a regular basis for dog walks and cannot recommend him enough. He is kind, professional, helpful, and attentive to your dog. My dog and I have been adjusting to a new routine over the past month, Matthew has been a huge help to me personally, adjusting bookings as changes in schedule happen, reaching out to resolve app issues, and ensuring my dogs needs are met when I’m not around and providing her with a sense of comfort, seeing him routinely and enjoying his presence. Thank you Matthew, truly, your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Jessica was a great pet sitter! She made sure to schedule a meet & greet beforehand, which I really appreciated. Our dog Wrigley, felt super comfortable around her and I knew I could trust her to take really good care of him while we were out. Jessica followed our instructions perfectly and her communication was stellar. Overall, it was a really great experience. Thank you so much Jessica!
