“Nick was excellent and I recommend him. Very caring, prompt communicator and made time for walking/playing with my dog (and best friend). Nick kept him safe (which is always my top priority), he was well fed and sent at least 2 updates with photos on the walk everyday. There was another dog present in the house (at least part of the time) but there was not supposed to be other dogs present; Nick explained the situation and I did not have concerns with the other dog (a smaller-size puppy) and they got along very well. I will definitely ask Nick to care for Cuper again.”

About: My name is Laura and I have been caring for and rescuing dogs on and off for over 10 years. I have experience with all types of small dogs including crate training, leash training, commands like “sit” and socialization training for the more challenging little ones. I am a fan of Caesar Milan’s training techniques and have worked with dog behaviorists to improve my craft. I am flexible and will crate or not crate a dog based on owner’s preference. I have an unfenced yard for play and potty on a leash but I also provide walks around the neighborhood. I will honor the owner’s requests to keep dog off the furniture or allow dog on the furniture. I am a strong believer in consistency to maintain a dog’s training. I will only board multiple pets if they are from the same family. I do not currently have any pets. I am a full-time teacher with normal working hours and I can provide a consistent feeding schedule and 3 walks a day. I work 9-5. I am able to provide 3 walks a day, 8am, 5pm, 9pm (for example). I may be able to provide midday walks depending on the week and the advanced notice. My home is very calm and quiet. I allow pets to approach me and I give them space as needed. There are no children or other pets in my home. Both doors to my house have two sets of doors (through the porch and the kitchen) which help prevent escapes if you have a pet who frequently tries to escape.

About: I have taken care of dogs for about 4-5 years. For neighbors and family friends. They have relied on me to take them out for the bathroom, feed them, give them medicine (if/when needed, take them for walks. Marely had never stayed away from me for so long and is usually a bit clingy but I could see that he was super happy throughout the stay from the videos Jayla shared. She trained him, groomed him and fed him as per his requirement. I was super happy with the experience and would definitely choose Jayla in the future too. It’s been a few months since we last boarded him, and he was so excited when we arrived and he saw Secylia walking toward us! As always, plenty of adorable photos and excellent communication! They even let us know immediately that we had forgotten to pack his medicine so that we could bring it to them. Now that the weather is warming up, I’m sure he’ll be visiting more often again.”
“Samantha was very hospitable with my Oshi. He was there 2 nights and Samantha seemed very apt to handle a skittish dog. I was apprehensive in leaving him at her home because she had a young son, but there were no issues that she communicated. However, the biggest concern I had was the heavy cigarette smoke in her house and the smell of which clinging to both Oshi’s and his bag of things left there when I picked him up.”
