About: Leanna and I have had dogs all of our lives. We have a dog name Gus now. He’s an Australian cattle dog. He’s very active and sweet. We have taken care of a few dogs while their owners were on vacation. We absolutely love it. A dogs unconditional love is the best feeling. You could have the worst day ever but a dog can make you smile for that moment. We are familiar with giving dogs medication. I had a dog that suffered from seizures and I had to medicate her twice a day. Matt works as a nurse full time. 12 hour days 3 days a week. Leanna works full time as well in the medical field. We try to make sure someone is home at all times so Gus isn’t alone. About: I have taken care of dogs for about 4-5 years. For neighbors and family friends. They have relied on me to take them out for the bathroom, feed them, give them medicine (if/when needed, take them for walks. I'm currently working for the school district full-time and looking for a part time job while I'm there. A little extra cash doesn’t always hurt here and there. Trying to then move to full time in the summer. Since I can't have dogs in my apartment, I have always stayed at the clients house or popped in to take care of their pet. I'm comfortable with crating the dog. Some dogs that I have taken care of slept in their beds (not in crate) since they were older.
