Hi, my name is Shandara. I live in Roxborough and I have a Standard poodle named Biscotti. Biscotti and I love to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen us around! Biscotti is so adorable and we love to try fun haircuts, so he tends to attract a lot of attention. I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, and fish. I’ve had my own dog now for 5 years and I’ve been trusted by many family members and friends to care for their pets. Having a fur baby myself, I understand the struggle and anxiety that come with needing to find the right care. We all hope for someone responsible and loving who will make our pet feel right at home. My hope is to be that person for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care so you can enjoy your time away knowing that your loved one is in good hands.

I have a small fenced in yard and one friendly dog who would be happy to keep your fur baby company. I’m happy to work with you to ensure your pet is safe & comfortable whether in your home or mine. Safety is a priority so pets are never left together unsupervised.

Shandara took wonderful care of Cyrus. He is an anxious dog, and she was incredibly sweet and patient with him. I will absolutely be booking with her in the future because I know my dog will be in amazing hands!!
Shandara took care of my dog Freckles, as well as another dog, and her own for a few days. She did a meet and greet, sent me updates constantly, and was very professional. I would have her sit again for me.
Our dog seemed to have a great time with Shandara and Biscotti!
I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Wally! Shandara visited twice a day for a week, took excellent care of him, kept everything clean, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even went above and beyond by bringing in my packages and a large delivery. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and I truly appreciated her reliability, kindness, and communication. I would absolutely book Shandara again and highly recommend her!

I recently left my 9-5 in Investment Operations to pursue my dreams of working for myself. I’m home all day, every day of the week, so I have plenty of availability to care for your fur baby. Finding the right caretaker is an investment and you can rest assured you’re making the right decision with me!

- All pets must be well socialized, friendly, and non aggressive to other pets and people. They must also be crate trained and housed trained. I’m open to most genders, breeds, and sizes. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and free of diseases, fleas, ticks, and heart worms at time of service. When your pet is in my care, they will be treated like family! I’d love to know your pet’s typical routine, so I can accommodate them to the best of my ability. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I should keep in mind. My goal is to be as informed as possible, so I can tailor this experience to their individual needs.
