Hi, my name is Shandara. I live in Roxborough and I have a Standard poodle named Biscotti. Biscotti and I love to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen us around! Biscotti is so adorable and we love to try fun haircuts, so he tends to attract a lot of attention. I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, bunnies, turtles, and fish. I’ve had my own dog now for 5 years and I’ve been trusted by many family members and friends to care for their pets. Having a fur baby myself, I understand the struggle and anxiety that come with needing to find the right care. We all hope for someone responsible and loving who will make our pet feel right at home. My hope is to be that person for you. My goal is to provide exceptional care so you can enjoy your time away knowing that your loved one is in good hands.

Shandara is so kind-hearted and caring. It shows in everything she does. You will be left feeling at ease if you allow her to care for your pet too.
Shandara assisted me with my toy poodle Ollie. She often would watch him for me, and usually for last minute requests. Ollie is a very shy and sensitive dog, but he was very fond of Shandara - a testament to her kind treatment of him. Shandara as a person is one of the kindest, most level-headed and composed people I know. She is also a dog mom herself, and loves Scotti very much and takes great care of him. Shandara would be an excellent care provider to any animal who she was entrusted with. I would be very happy if u could still call on Shandara to help me out with Ollie.
Shandara is a genuinely caring person who has loved and cared for pets her entire life. She is very diligent and responsible, making sure that they are treated with care and attention. The way that she nurtures her current dog is commendable and he is never in need of anything. He is well fed, manicured and gets plenty of exercise. Shandara is the best person to be the caretaker of your dog!
I know my puppy was in great hands. He was cared for and I was given updates about his care as well as pictures to make sure he was having a good time.
When interacting with dogs, Shandara is both engaging and attentive. My dog loves Shandara and is always excited to see her and her dog Biscotti!
Shandara is pleasant, loving and affectionate to all animals! Biscotti is well-behaved and a great companion to other dogs. Your pet will have a great time at her home. She also gives frequent updates and sends lots of pictures.

Schedule
I recently left my 9-5 in Investment Operations to pursue my dreams of working for myself. I’m home all day, every day of the week, so I have plenty of availability to care for your fur baby. Finding the right caretaker is an investment and you can rest assured you’re making the right decision with me!

I have a small fenced in yard and one friendly dog who would be happy to keep your fur baby company. I’m happy to work with you to ensure your pet is safe & comfortable whether in your home or mine. Safety is a priority so pets are never left together unsupervised.
Pets
A typical day
I live in a quiet, clean, pet friendly neighborhood. The side walks are clean and there are plenty of green spaces. I’m also near multiple parks and trails including the Wissahickon. I love the outdoors, so I’m happy to take your pet on a little field trip, if permitted. During boardings, your dog will get at least one long walk and two short walks. I have a small fenced in yard with a deck where your pet can play or just chill. I’m an early riser and I’m home all day so your dog will receive plenty of attention and love.
