I’m a writer and walker/sitter so my schedule varies. I generally can not take on walks or drop-ins after 5:30pm but I would be happy to work to find a time that works best for your pet!

I have experience with runners of the cat and dog variety and am always cautious when entering and leaving a home to ensure your pet doesn’t escape. For walks, I try to get a full 20-25 minutes of walking time unless your dog requires special care and use the remaining time for play or settling before leaving. I spend the first half of drop-in visits taking care of the dog or cat’s food, water, and bathroom situation and use the rest of the time to play, cuddle, or do whatever activity your pet is most interested in.

I would like to know any fears they have and medical conditions. I have experience training young dogs as well as accommodating pets with trauma and anxiety issues.
A typical day
Walks to the local dog park are my favorite and I am happy to accommodate every age dog, from slow walks for older pets and energetic playful times at the park for pups with energy to spare.

I have cared for animals since I was seven and was finally allowed to get my first pet, Spot. We adopted our street cat, Mickey, in 2014 and managed to turn a very jumpy alley cat into a cuddly friend that can trust people again. I love spending my time with animals and I value their individual personalities. I now have two cats that I’ve raised from kittens. I have experience with both young puppies and kittens as well as elderly dogs with special diet and exercise requirements. I would be happy to walk your pup or care for your cat and will always do my best to make it the most comfortable and stress-free experience for them.
