I have cared for animals since I was seven and was finally allowed to get my first pet, Spot. We adopted our street cat, Mickey, in 2014 and managed to turn a very jumpy alley cat into a cuddly friend that can trust people again. I love spending my time with animals and I value their individual personalities. I now have two cats that I’ve raised from kittens. I have experience with both young puppies and kittens as well as elderly dogs with special diet and exercise requirements. I would be happy to walk your pup or care for your cat and will always do my best to make it the most comfortable and stress-free experience for them. Safety, trust & environment
I have experience with runners of the cat and dog variety and am always cautious when entering and leaving a home to ensure your pet doesn’t escape. For walks, I try to get a full 20-25 minutes of walking time unless your dog requires special care and use the remaining time for play or settling before leaving. I spend the first half of drop-in visits taking care of the dog or cat’s food, water, and bathroom situation and use the rest of the time to play, cuddle, or do whatever activity your pet is most interested in.

Kristen is awesome!! She took care of my cats during the long weekend and went above & beyond. She kept in touch and sent plenty of pictures of my girls! I have one cat in particular that’s veryyy shy with new people and she warmed up pretty quickly to Kristen!
Kristin is the absolute best! She cared for my beloved Petey for nine years, and is now a huge help with dogs I foster. I trust her not only as a walker, but as someone who truly gets to know and befriend the pups, with Rover cards that reflect their unique personalities. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I’m a writer and walker/sitter so my schedule varies. I generally can not take on walks or drop-ins after 5:30pm but I would be happy to work to find a time that works best for your pet!
