Cats-only sitter in South Philly
I've got several years of sitting on Rover under my belt, but even before that often came in to help out friends, family and neighbors with cat care. I'm comfortable giving liquid and pill medications, happy to handle specialized feeding requests, and knowledgeable about the latest developments in litter box technology.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer all clients a complimentary in-person meet and greet before my first visit, and that provides me with an opportunity to learn your cat's routine and needs. We will go over your safety and care checklist for home visits at that time, or in messages if you're not able to meet in person. I like to make sure cats get the extra attention they may require, whether it be playtime, a special treat or making sure a favorite perch is comfortable and next to a window, so please don't hesitate to tell me what their preferences are.

Susan was great and my cat was definitely well taken care of!
Needed a last minute carer to drop-in and feed our young kitten for several days and Susan didn't hesitate to make herself available. She was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive and has a clear passion for animal care. Our kitten is a slow eater, however Susan treated her with patience and affection and I would absolutely feel comfortable hiring her for longer visits.
Our two cats love when Susan comes to visit!! They get plenty of attention and play, and she’s always sure to keep their weird little individual quirks in mind! 😊
Susan was wonderful, and so understanding of both my shy kitty and my kitty who has been territorial after our move. She was so attentive to them, and also was gracious enough to water my plants while I was gone. I would highly recommend her as a sitter! I knew that my boys were in excellent hands with her while I was away!
Susan was terrific! The pictures she sent after each visit clearly indicated that my cat was happy with her there. All communication with Susan was clear and I truly felt that my cat was in good hands.

Schedule
I’m available during business hours and for evening and weekend visits in South Philly. My main neighborhoods are East Passyunk/Passyunk Sq, Dickinson Sq, Pennsport, and Bella Vista/Italian Market. When my schedule allows, I will take bookings outside of that area, but generally stay south of South Street, north of Snyder and west of Broad. I’m happy to talk about your pet’s special scheduling needs if medications are involved, but if you're looking for someone who can do daily visits 12 hours apart (for diabetic cats or other medications where there can't be an hour or two of lag) starting before 8 am, I usually can't take those as my working hours cap out at 10. Please let me know if you have additional housesitting needs, as I'm happy to keep an eye out for packages, water plants and set out trash and recycling while you are away.
