Dogs, Cats, and Rabbits (oh my!)
[they/them] I first began caring for dogs at the age of 13 when my family got our puppy, Bella, and I fell in love with caring for dogs and with spending time with them. Throughout high school, I would dog-sit occasionally for neighbors and close family friends, but I truly started my professional dog-sitting experience in 2016. I have done extensive dog walking, drop in visits, and countless overnights both in my home and the pets' homes. I even worked at a doggy daycare local to Philly for 6 months just before COVID kicked in, taking care of up to 20 dogs each day alongside my coworkers. I also have experience caring for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats! I used to live with cats with my past roommate and cared for him whenever my roommate needs me to, and I have a pet bunny, Fauna, who I cherish and care for every single day. I think it's safe to say that pet care practically runs in my blood at this point!

I am vaccinated + boosted against COVID-19 During my stays, I keep the space as neat and tidy as I find it, always! I am a lover of instructions, and will follow them to a tee to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible with me, especially when we are first meeting! I like to give pets the time and space to adjust, so they can be as happy and carefree as possible the more we see each other.

River was our cat sitter during a difficult time when one of our cats reached the end of his life after a lengthy diagnosis. River was communicative and compassionate, and helped my wife and I make informed decisions about how to proceed.

We’ve had River do drop in visits for our 2 cats several times and are very happy with the care given to our cats while we are away. River is very communicative, both before and during the visits, and gives timely updates with photos. We know our cats are in great hands while we are away!
I always rely on River for my aged ornery fur baby! My cat has many health issues, and I feel much less anxious knowing River is around to check in and keep her company when I am away.

Schedule
I'm a private music teacher who is teaching lessons on a pretty flexible schedule, and I work in the service industry on the side. Sundays are my busiest days- I only have 1 morning slot before 7:45am for clients near my home/work, and 1-2 afternoon/evening slots depending on my lessons that day and distance of the homes. Thursdays also only have 1 morning slot before 7:45am for clients near my home/work. Wednesdays only have 1 evening slot available. All other days of the week have pretty open availability! I have a lot of time available to be able to dedicate to your pets- reach out, and let's see what we can coordinate! I am also currently accepting recurring services! Recurring dog walks, recurring drop ins, etc. I'd love to see and take care of your pets on a regular basis!
