“Ana was absolutely incredible. I’m so grateful for her. She took care of our elderly, diabetic cat Hannah (who also has CKD) while my partner and I were away. Ana expertly administered the plethora of medications (oral and injectable) and checked Hannah’s blood glucose via glucometer. She was also extremely patient when feeding her and cleaned up after Hannah had a couple accidents in her bed. I was especially appreciative of Ana’s flexibility and attention to detail when Hannah’s needs changed shortly before my trip after we had booked. Ana was very communicative as well and sent us plenty of updates and pics during her check-ins. I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. Callie came for a meet and greet. My dog was belly up and waggy very quickly. We decided immediately that we found our sitter. She is bubbly and eager and has good attention to detail. Olga did an amazing job with our kitties while we were on vacation! We came back to the litter boxes spotless and two happy and healthy furry friends. There was even a minor logistical issue that came up during her time here that Olga quickly found a solution for on her own and dealt with so we didn't have to worry a bit. Lenise was great with my two cats! Even through an emergency she had during the first day of sitting, she was communicative and was able to get back to the sitting as normal from the second day to the last. I came home from my week away to a clean and somewhat orderly apartment (I know my cats were throwing non stop parties in my small studio). I would book with Lenise again!
