About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Because of this, I’ve gotten to care for dogs of all ages - from newborn to older, in sickness and health. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. As for drop ins, I will treat your home with the upmost respect.
About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.
About: I’ve always grown up around animals. Dogs, cats, birds and even a turtle! I have doggy sat plenty of times in the past and I own three cats of my own. “Ana was absolutely incredible. I’m so grateful for her. She took care of our elderly, diabetic cat Hannah (who also has CKD) while my partner and I were away. Ana expertly administered the plethora of medications (oral and injectable) and checked Hannah’s blood glucose via glucometer. About: My experience with dogs ranges from senior dogs, to big, rambunctious puppies and everything in between! I've never had my own cat but have many years of experience caring for others' felines. Whether you want someone to take your pup out and tire them out, or someone to snuggle your cat while you're away, I will love on them until you come back! You can have piece of mind while you're away knowing that your dog is living their best life. I’m currently only taking drop in cat visits that can fit around my 40hr work week at the moment. My weekends are usually flexible, and I’m more than willing to try to work with the schedule you need on a case by case basis! I cannot offer board for pets in my current home. I will follow your wishes when caring for your pet. I will not leave your pet unsupervised outside, even in a fenced in yard. I was so pleased with how well Ashley took care of my cat, Marble, while I was away on vacation. She visited Marble an hour per day, taking care of his feeding, litter box and giving him social time in a tender-loving care fashion. Marble is shy, yet he warmed faster to Ashley than is usual with a new person. Ashley found the right balance between engaging with Marble to provide him companionship and exercise without pushing him harder than Marble is comfortable with. She provided me with informative reports and fun photos daily. If you would like a cat companion that is flexible enough to cater to your cat's specific needs, Ashley is the one. My cat hid for the majority of the visit, but Emma put a ton of effort into trying to find her and bring her out of hiding, just to ensure that she didnt get out during the heatwave somehow. I definitely appreciated the effort she put in, and also the pictures when my cat finally showed up. :)

Ceili is always great taking care of my 3 cats. She follows my detailed instructions to a T, and cleans up any occasional disasters (hairballs, knocked over flower pots, etc) so everything is just as I left it when I return! And I get photos of all the cats at each visit. A++++
Ixchel was excellent! I want to hire her every time I go out of town. My dogs were really comfortable with her and when I got back from my trip, my dogs were well taken care of. She took them on such long walks and made sure they got exercise. She sent lots of pictures and played with them as well.
