My childhood dog lived to be 15 years old, and I was there to help care for him throughout his life, especially in his senior years when he needed extra support. He was truly my best friend and taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive care. Today, I care for my own dog and cat every day by feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they are happy and healthy. I walk my dog before and after work and throughout the day as needed, and I enjoy spending quality time playing with both my dog and cat. I have a genuine love for animals, but dog walking is something I especially enjoy. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and I will treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets.

In my home, I provide a designated space where pets can relax and feel at ease. I ensure that this area is clean, secure, and equipped with the necessary essentials such as bedding, toys, and food/water bowls. Additionally, I maintain a regular feeding schedule to meet their dietary needs. Exercise and playtime are also integral parts of my care routine, as I engage pets in stimulating activities tailored to their energy levels and preferences. If caring for pets in a client's home, I ensure to follow any specific instructions provided, replicating their familiar environment as closely as possible. I make it a point to provide ample affection, attention, and companionship to keep pets happy and emotionally fulfilled during my care sessions. It was such a huge relief to travel without worry knowing our boys were in incredible hands and we’ve already booked with Barb for two more of our summer getaways. About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, who is included in the pictures, also helps me out with my Rover schedules. My home is my cat Lilo’s safe little kingdom, so I can’t host other pets here. But I’m very happy to come to your home, meet outside for walks, or figure out a setup that feels easy and comfortable for you and your pet.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Because of this, I’ve gotten to care for dogs of all ages - from newborn to older, in sickness and health. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. As for drop ins, I will treat your home with the upmost respect.

Ana expertly administered the plethora of medications (oral and injectable) and checked Hannah’s blood glucose via glucometer.
