About: I’ve been taking care of friends and families animals for about three years now. I’ve dealt with puppy dogs to senior dogs, crazy kittens to calm cats. I love animals and truly see them as a part of the family! 💜 I am super flexible when it comes to my daily schedule. I have been doing pet care independently and decided to rover a shot ! Communication is super important to me, if the pet needs any specific foods, medications, or walking instructions I would contact the owner beforehand to make sure the pet is receiving the best care possible. Or if the client left a note with specific instructions.

About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs and cats in the house. I’ve also had ferrets and a snake as pets. There was a period of time where, I had 3 dogs of my own at the same time. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs. I am a nurse that works from home full-time therefore, your pet will have companionship throughout the day. I will enjoy having the company of your pet while I am working as well. I have administered medications to animals as directed by pet owners and veterinarians. I am able to administer oral and topical medications. I have confidently cared for recently spayed/neutered animals. I am experienced in puppy potty/feeding routines, crate training as well as positive reinforcement with or without treats. While caring for your family’s fur baby, I will treat them like family and as directed per your wishes. I will attempt to adhere to their routines to make the transition of not being at home easier for them. There will be plenty of built in time for attention, potty breaks and playtime. Your furbaby will be made to feel at home here. I will make every attempt to adhere to their home routine as much as possible to lessen the stress of this transition. I have a small unfenced grassy area that is available for quick potty breaks. For exercise and the longer potty breaks, we would go on walks through the neighborhood. I currently walk approximately 2 miles (weather permitting) for my own physical fitness therefore if your pup is willing and able, I would love the company. Typically, when I have watched friends and family's dogs we took walks 3 times a day. There will always be room for other accommodations if more or less walking is needed. I will ensure that your pet is safe and comfy while they sleep at night and rest during the day. There is a clean doggy bed and plenty of blankets to choose from if laying on the floor as I have hardwood floors. Please feel free to bring and favorite toys or advise of any activities that your pet enjoys as it is my goal to make them feel at home. My home gets the morning and afternoon sun though the large front window which provides a space for your pet to sunbathe if they so choose. There is also a sitting windowsill for them to enjoy some outside activity with the safety of being indoors. As previously stated, I have a small, unfenced yard available for quick potty breaks. For dogs, majority of their bathroom breaks will be walks depending on their energy and activity level. For visiting kitty's the litter box will likely be placed in my semi-finished basement unless other stipulations are discussed. Your kitty will be lovingly guided to the litter box to get acclimated to it's whereabout. I will provide the desired updates, pictures and communicate any issue timely so that you can feel at ease that your beloved pet is being well cared for. As a previous pet owner, I understand the worries of handing your beloved pet over to someone to care for them as you do. I assure you that your pet will be well loved and cared for here.

About: Hello! I am a full-time traveling petsitter. I have my own business and I accept clients across the country, both on and off Rover. I set my service radius to the max limit that Rover allows. I may have to travel some distance to get to you, but I have never canceled or missed a booking. These days I mostly just work for my “home family” in the Philly suburbs and open up my Rover calendar on the dates they don’t need me. I typically just offer housesitting but occasionally I have windows where I can squeeze in walks and drop-ins. I limit these to the neighborhood I’m staying, or working in at the time. I enjoy learning about animal, and specifically dog behavior, as well various training methods. I would love to help reinforce your dog’s training program or routine, or simply be their emotional support while you’re gone. I’ve been offering services on Rover specifically for 2 years now, and I currently do not do any other form of work outside pet care. This means I can spend most of my time prioritizing your pets i. your home. Perfect for pets who cannot be left alone for too long! I am a true animal lover. I always say, I’m an animal advocate first, and a pet sitter second. (I have chapters where I contribute my part to rescue and foster efforts nearest me.) I am here to enrich the lives of your pet(s) during the time we spend together, and give you a peace of mind during a trip away. I’m 37 years old and have a working life’s worth of general caregiving experience including childcare, elderly care, and pet care. I got into petsitting because as an “animal person” I was already my friends go-to for watching their pets. I turned to it as a source of income to replace the work I was doing when I developed a physical disability in 2023. As such, I am not able to handle large dogs over 65 pounds if they pull on walks. I am also not able to do tug-o-war, or withstand throwing a ball if as a sole form of exercise and enrichment. The exercise I provide must be diversified and staggered throughout the day. A win in my book, since this is actually better for pets as well! I can clean up pet messes but I am unable to do any sustained, extended, or deep scrubbing. AVAILABILITY One of the benefits of gig work for me is the privilege to live with the flow of life. I give priority to my regular clients and open up my Rover calendar to new clients one month at a time, a month in advance. Most people book 2-3 weeks in advance and that is perfect for me. I do a good job of keeping my calendar accurate, but messages about scheduling and availability are always welcomed! SAFETY Animals naturally warm up to me and feel safe and comfortable with me, but of course there always exist exceptions. I prefer not to handle XL breeds, dogs with aggressive proclivities, or severe pulling and behavioral issues on walks. I can do drop-in and overnight sitting for large dogs if walks are not expected, or the dog is well behaved and doesn’t pull. I bring with me a tactical belt that serves as a waist harness to attach leashes, and a shock absorbing leash and coupler, just to have some extra options for comfort and security. This setup works better if your dogs have harnesses. Of course I don't have to use it and can use what you provide. We should review your emergency contact info and preferred emergency plan(s), as well as any security measures in place for, or that I should uphold for your home. Alarm system? Is your home a key-less entry or will there be a key hidden?

About: I know when a dog is anxious or needs attention. Previously working at a Canine Club has made me understand dogs more especially with watching multiple at once. I handle big and small dogs and have excelled immensely with this job. I am a full-time student at WCU. I will stay with the dog as long as I can and can make frequent visits if need be. I will always have my eyes on the dog at all times whilst giving endless amount of attention and love. If there is a gated area provided, and is a nice day out, I would mainly spend most of my visit outside to get the dog fresh air and some room to run around.
