About: I have had pets since I was 9 years old. I have taken care of my own pets, as well as friends and family’s pets since I was a teenager. I have a dog (curly white dog in photos), that lives with me. He likes to keep to himself and has never had any issues with other dogs during a stay. I work from home all week so can accommodate any needs your fur baby will need. Although I am at my desk most of the day, I am flexible with any pet needs your pet will need. About: Just over a year ago I've had the experience and joy to care of my friends dog. I was able to take her home for a month and make sure she well loved. We walked, played, did some tricks and got to enjoy each other company. Ever since then I've always been fascinated about dogs especially huskies they are my favorite! About: Of course I love animals, but what matters more to me is noticing who your pet actually is. Are they the kind of dog who needs to sniff the same corner for five minutes before moving on? Are they a little shy at first and pretending not to care? Do they get excited easily and need someone calm around them? Are they a cat who wants company, but absolutely not too much company? I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. I’ll treat your pet with warmth, patience, and care, and I’ll treat your home and instructions with respect. This year, much of my work is remote, which gives me real flexibility in my schedule. That means I’m able to spend unrushed, attentive time with pets, not just quick check-ins, but actual companionship, care, and presence. I can shape my day around walks, visits, feeding times, play, and quiet company, depending on what each pet needs. About: I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, and even reptiles! I grew up with all three in the home and feel comfortable with the more challenging situations, such as senior animals or puppies in need of training, medically complex pets, or skittish animals. I'm a runner and hiker, and I love taking pets with me if they are up for the exercise, though I am equally happy to lounge around to give belly rubs! I am currently a full time student; I have one class a day and a graduate assistant position that allows me to work remotely. I have plenty of daytime availability that allows me to take your pet on walks or keep them company in your home. I am punctual, dedicated, and patient. I'm happy to set up face-to-face meetings before booking to meet you and your pet to see if I am the right fit. My own routine is flexible and I have no problem adapting to meet the needs of your pet.
