Donte was great with Blue. He really helped us out with a last-minute weekend daycare booking, and Blue was very excited to go back. We received photos and videos during his visits and we will definitely look to Donte for future daycare visits.

About: A lover of animals of all sorts, I've rescued and cared for cats of my own for over 40 years. My family had dogs including a Beagle and a Lhasa Poo while I was growing up, and I'm the one who always says, "Can I say hi?!" when I see someone out walking their dog. I volunteered at Main Line Animal Rescue, Providence Animal Rescue, and pet store based cat rescues and have received dog handling and walking training. I am equipped and eager to provide your pets with quality time and care. I have groomed cats, walked the big dogs, and cleaned bunny litter. Clients, friends, and co-workers have been happy with my services and I enjoy connecting my work with one of my passions. If you scroll my photos, I admit I haven't cared for alpacas. But I'd love to learn how! I'd be happy to make your getaways, vacations, or travel for work less stressful for you by caring for your pets and home. I'm happy to give updates throughout visits, including photos or videos, and will send regular reports on food and treats, litter or potty time, and general behavior. My schedule is flexible. Just let me know your needs and I'll do my best to make it work. Book ahead for your summer and fall travel plans! Taking care of your pets in your home is a responsibility and a privilege, allowing your pets to have their safe spaces and comforts while you're away. If house-sitting or dropping in for care or walks, I'll follow your suggestions and directions to deliver the best possible care. I am mature, responsible, and experienced, so you can feel confident in my reliability.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up in Linstead Jamaica, my family owned a small farm, where we tended goats and chickens. We also took care of 2 generations of Rottweilers, so for as long as I can remember, I have had pets. Because of this, I’ve gotten to care for dogs of all ages - from newborn to older, in sickness and health. Since moving to Philly in 2016, my family has rescued a Cat (Rocket) and a Shih Tzu (Betty White). Needless to say, if given the opportunity I will make sure to give not only care for, but love your pet! I am currently home full time. Feel free to reach out - I am available early mornings and nights, and for drop ins or house sittings when needed. I am also open to last minute bookings. I live with a family of 4. We live in a home in a very quiet neighborhood near Cobbs creek - with trails and parks within the vicinity. We currently do not have any of our own pets, but any pets we have cared for had the luxury of enjoying outdoors at almost any hour and to meet and play with other pets at different parks. As for drop ins, I will treat your home with the upmost respect.

About: I have been a dog owner most of my life and have watched neighbors and my family dogs! Dogs aren’t just pets; they are family!!I may be new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs! 🐾🐾❤️💙 Please note: I do require up to date shot records and rabies certificates. You can always send copy to Rover number or to the inbox here on Rover! I am teacher with the School District of Philadelphia, so my availability are weekends However, I can do more days and nights on my Winter Break, Spring Break any holidays when schools are closed and the months of June thru August. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, because consistency helps them feel safe and comfortable. Before care begins, I take time to learn each pet’s feeding schedule, walking routine, play preferences, and any special needs.

About: I have had pets since I was 9 years old. I have taken care of my own pets, as well as friends and family’s pets since I was a teenager. I have a dog (curly white dog in photos), that lives with me. He likes to keep to himself and has never had any issues with other dogs during a stay. I work from home all week so can accommodate any needs your fur baby will need. Although I am at my desk most of the day, I am flexible with any pet needs your pet will need. I have a small, gated area at the back of my residence that can allow for any quality outdoor time. Plenty of grass to run around in!

About: Hi! I am a dedicated dog lover with three years of experience caring for pups. I’ve spent the last few years pet-sitting for families and watching dogs for my friends, and I’ve learned that every dog is unique—some need a long run, while others just want a quiet spot to nap. I pride myself on being calm and patient. I know meeting someone new can be stressful for a dog, so I always take things at their pace to make sure they feel safe and secure from the moment we meet. My Routine & Activity I am a very active person and love staying moving. If you have a high-energy dog who loves to stay active, I’m the perfect match! I live right near a wonderful park, which is where I spend a lot of my time. My routine includes: Morning and afternoon runs: If your dog is a runner, I’d love to have a partner! Park walks: Plenty of fresh air and mental stimulation at the nearby park. Cuddle time: When we aren't out exploring, I am a big fan of cuddling and making sure your dog feels loved and relaxed. What I Offer Tailored care: I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure their specific needs and schedules are met. A safe environment: I provide a calm, safe space where your dog can feel right at home, whether they prefer lounging on the carpet or snuggling up. Plenty of attention: I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your furry family member the focus and affection they deserve while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your pup and providing a fun, safe, and loving experience for them! I work from home, which grants me significant flexibility throughout the day. This allows me to prioritize your dog’s needs, whether that means a quick potty break, a long walk in the nearby park, or a midday run for high-energy pups. In My Home When a dog stays with me, I focus on creating a seamless transition from their usual routine. Since I work from home, I am able to provide constant supervision and companionship. Your dog will have the freedom to lounge comfortably while I work, with plenty of breaks for play and cuddles. Being located right near a park means we can head out for fresh air and exercise whenever they need a boost of energy. In Your Home For drop-in visits or house sitting, my priority is maintaining the environment where your pet feels most secure. I stick closely to the schedule you’ve built, ensuring feedings, walks, and medications happen exactly on time. I use my work-from-home flexibility to spend quality time in your space, providing not just the essentials, but also the mental stimulation and physical activity—like runs or long walks—that keeps dogs happy while their owners are away. My Approach to Care Safety First: I always keep dogs on a leash during outings and stay alert to their body language. Active Engagement: I love going on runs and walks to ensure high-energy dogs get their heart rate up. Open Communication: I provide regular photo updates and check-ins so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is having a great time.

About: Hi, my name is Ray, and I have over 20 years of hands-on experience owning and personally training dogs. Over the years, I’ve trained four dogs from the ground up and regularly provide pet sitting, dog walking, and training services for friends and family—so they can travel with complete peace of mind. I offer pet sitting, dog walking, dog training, and check-in visits for pets while their owners are away. Whether you need reliable care during a trip or help building better behavior at home, I’m here to help. Is your dog in need of basic obedience training? Struggling with behaviors like jumping, barking, or biting? Or simply need someone you can trust to walk and care for your dog while you’re away? I specialize in positive reinforcement training, using rewards and praise to encourage good behavior while gently discouraging unwanted habits. I prioritize your dog’s comfort and safety at all times. I do not crate dogs unless absolutely necessary, and only if I feel it’s required for the pet’s well-being. I also have access to a park directly behind me, providing a great space for daily walks, structured training, and enrichment. Every dog is different, which is why I create customized training plans based on your dog’s needs and your goals as an owner. I believe training is about more than commands—it’s about building a strong bond rooted in trust, respect, and consistency. I also provide personalized guidance so you can confidently continue the training at home. I’m also a proud dog owner myself and currently have an 8-month-old pup, so I fully understand the time, patience, and care it takes to raise a happy, well-balanced dog. If you’re looking for a dependable, passionate, and experienced dog trainer or walker, I’d love to work with you. Reach out today to schedule your first walk, training session, or pet sitting visit. I guarantee a great experience for both you and your furry friend—every penny well spent! I work from home a majority of the day and can pet sit with no issues at all. Reach out and come see why I am worth every penny spent, I can guarantee an Great Experience. I live in an apartment and have a park behind me to train and walk the dogs daily with no issues. I take care pets by adjusting to their personality and utilizing various toys, treats and training. I usually dont put pets in crates unless Its really needed and I feel the pet is unstable to be left out the cage.

Madeleine and her family were awesome. They made our Army Navy weekend even greater. We got to enjoy the game and tailgate while Ginger and Kindle had a fun time too. One of my friends who were with us remark how awesome they came out to greet us as we dropped off the dogs. They make you feel like your family. Thanks so much!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Yeadon

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Yeadon on Rover is $34.41 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,509 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Yeadon. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Yeadon commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,509 sitters in Yeadon, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
