About: I’m an experienced, caring, fun-loving dog sitter and walker. Took care of our family dog Jackson for 12 years, and since moving to Philadelphia have felt the void of furry faces. I am a freelance videographer, so I have a very flexible work schedule and looking to fill some free time. I am also an avid runner, so if your pup is looking for a little extra exercise I am happy to have them accompany me on a run! I am very flexible as I am a freelance videographer. I am able to set my own schedule, and can accommodate full daycare and check-ins. We have a large 3 floor apartment with plenty of space for zoomies and roaming. Additionally have access to several dog parks and green spaces in our area for frolicking.
About: I’ve taken care of lots of different kinds of animals since I was a teenager. I worked at a zoo in England for a summer when I was a bit younger and from then, I grew a genuine passion for animals. I am currently working from home, so I will be able to provide lots of attention to your dog. I also walk routinely in the morning, evening, and anytime in between. I do not have any pets that live with me so it will just be myself and your dog. I will usually only have 1 dog at a time unless the dogs already know each other or live together.
“They were amazing! Very friendly and accomadating for a last minute booking! Sent lots of pictures. Additionally my dog can be anxious (particularly in new situations) and they were not phased at all. Got plenty of pictures of her opened up as well :)”

“Rhea was amazing! Olive had such a great time with her and her pup! She was able to answer all my questions and made me instantly feel at ease leaving my pup with her. I would absolutely rebook in an instant!”

“Martha has been so lovely! She takes amazing care of Mochi. Mochi can be a stubborn boy who refuses to go on walks and Martha handles it so well and encourages him or gives him plenty of pets! She sends cute photos of mochi and I know he is being well cared for! Martha is very genuine. Thank you so much Martha”

“Deena was very accommodating and good with my dog. This was my first time using Rover and she made the experience great! She took care of my little guy!!! Thank you”

“Madeline is wonderful. She took great care of Chai and sent photo updates throughout the day. Her husband, Roman, is so kind as well. I look forward to the next time and I know Chai does too! Highly recommend!”

About: Been taking care of pets my entire life, both my own pets as well as helping friends and neighbors with theirs. Can’t wait to meet yours! I work remotely and have flexible hours, so I’m available to help throughout the day during the week and also on weekends at most locations! I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog and cat to keep yours company. I can crate your dog if needed and can also keep my pets separate from yours in my house if needed.

About: Hello I am Rhys Haag. I am experienced with dogs cats and other animals such as rabbits, reptiles. Whether your fur baby is anxious, young, a senior, or in need of medication during our time, I will be prepared. I send photos through out bookings and I enjoy spending lots of time with my clients providing love walks and an encouraging treat. I currently have open availability for pet care. Please contact me about your pet needs. I work at a summer camp during the week. I am available for house sitting, walks and drop in visits. While I care for pets, I treat them like family. I keep things consistent so they feel safe, seen, and comfortable in their environment—whether that means belly rubs on the couch, slow introductions for shy animals, or fun, active playtime for energetic ones. I'm attentive to feeding routines closely, keep fresh water available, and pay attention to any changes in behavior or mood. I adore and look forward to going on walks that match each dog’s pace and personality—whether it’s a quick potty break, a sniff-filled stroll, or a power walk. Also, I ensure time for brushing, cuddling, and giving medication if needed. For smaller animals and cats, I take a calm, respectful approach and give them the space or attention they crave. The end goal is always to make pets feel relaxed and loved while their people are away.

Donte was so good with Moo! I was a little worried she would have separation anxiety because it was her first time away from home since I got her, but she loved it and was returned happy and exhausted! He sent pics and videos throughout the day and even walked her again right before I picked her up. I’ll definitely be trusting her with Donte again!

Kelsey was great with my dog boots!! He immediately took a liking to her and she did a great job communicating and sharing photos throughout the day. I will definitely be booking with Kelsey again and am happy to know Boots was able to spend the day somewhere new without too much stress.

My dog Georgia was very calm and well-behaved with Sydney. Sydney was very professional, responsive, friendly, and flexible with our haphazard schedule. We felt safe leaving our 65lb reactive pittie with her. Thank you for taking such good care of Georgia 🩷! We would definitely be interested in using Sydney's daycare services again!

Chris is a fantastic dog walker and sitter. He was able to do a couple of daycare days for Whimzy when we needed to have work done at the house last minute, which is immensely helpful. Chris is so good with Whimzy, and she loves spending time with him. We're very grateful for Chris!

Madison was amazing! She was so professional and my dog was excited to see her on day two! He wasn't feeling good, so I asked a million questions and Madison answered all of them. Even when I had to ask about his bathroom habits (which no person ever want to), she was still very professional and answered all of them! She's a great sitter!!!

Shanika was wonderful with our puppy, Echo! She and her boyfriend took such great care of him—he got a nice walk to the art museum and plenty of cozy snuggles on the couch. Shanika was also fantastic at communicating and made setting up the meet and greet super easy. We felt totally at ease knowing Echo was in such caring hands. Highly recommend

Thank you so much for looking after Griffin and Bandit for the day! I'm a very nervous dog mom and it's such a relief to know they have someone who they can hang with who will take very good care of them. I appreciate all the updates and pictures throughout the day it made me feel like I wasn't far away from them. ☺️

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Millbourne commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
