About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs and cats in the house. I’ve also had ferrets and a snake as pets. There was a period of time where, I had 3 dogs of my own at the same time. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs. I am a nurse that works from home full-time therefore, your pet will have companionship throughout the day. I will enjoy having the company of your pet while I am working as well. I have administered medications to animals as directed by pet owners and veterinarians. I am able to administer oral and topical medications. I have confidently cared for recently spayed/neutered animals. I am experienced in puppy potty/feeding routines, crate training as well as positive reinforcement with or without treats. While caring for your family’s fur baby, I will treat them like family and as directed per your wishes. I will attempt to adhere to their routines to make the transition of not being at home easier for them. There will be plenty of built in time for attention, potty breaks and playtime. Your furbaby will be made to feel at home here. I will make every attempt to adhere to their home routine as much as possible to lessen the stress of this transition. I have a small unfenced grassy area that is available for quick potty breaks. For exercise and the longer potty breaks, we would go on walks through the neighborhood. I currently walk approximately 2 miles (weather permitting) for my own physical fitness therefore if your pup is willing and able, I would love the company. Typically, when I have watched friends and family's dogs we took walks 3 times a day. There will always be room for other accommodations if more or less walking is needed. I will ensure that your pet is safe and comfy while they sleep at night and rest during the day. There is a clean doggy bed and plenty of blankets to choose from if laying on the floor as I have hardwood floors. Please feel free to bring and favorite toys or advise of any activities that your pet enjoys as it is my goal to make them feel at home. My home gets the morning and afternoon sun though the large front window which provides a space for your pet to sunbathe if they so choose. There is also a sitting windowsill for them to enjoy some outside activity with the safety of being indoors. As previously stated, I have a small, unfenced yard available for quick potty breaks. For dogs, majority of their bathroom breaks will be walks depending on their energy and activity level. For visiting kitty's the litter box will likely be placed in my semi-finished basement unless other stipulations are discussed. Your kitty will be lovingly guided to the litter box to get acclimated to it's whereabout. I will provide the desired updates, pictures and communicate any issue timely so that you can feel at ease that your beloved pet is being well cared for. As a previous pet owner, I understand the worries of handing your beloved pet over to someone to care for them as you do. I assure you that your pet will be well loved and cared for here.

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life I've had to attend dog behavioral training classes with multiple dogs over the years of owning them with family. As an adult I've never had the privilege of owning my own dog only cats. But I've always been the one to help family members when they go away walks & pet siting. I work in the elder care system but trying to find a balance of Harmony. With my active lifestyle and fond affection for The Great outdoors I miss the company of dogs I don't have the means or time to own my own I would like an opportunity to be able to explore new areas of my local neighborhood and getting exercise. I do care for a cat though, she is not my own. But she is welcomed in my apartment she owns this house. And I only just pay the rent.

About: I have been taken care of dogs for five years for family and friends. I have been told that my furry friends love having me as their sitter or and walker. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have lots of time to sit your furry pets. To also show all the love and care they need. I live in a house. I would walk your furry pets around the neighborhood. About: I have been caring for all kinds of animals on Rover for almost 8 years now, and got my start even younger at 12 when I started my own neighborhood dogwalking business. I’ve worked for dozens of pet owners on Rover for the past few years and have loved getting to know so many little characters! I’m not in a position to get my own pet right now, so Rover has been an awesome way to get quality time with animals. I work seasonally at a wildlife refuge, but my current position ends on November 6th so starting then I’ll have full time availability for pet sitting! I live in a big apartment in West Philly with my partner who also loves animals (she works seasonally with wildlife!) We have a small fenced backyard that often goes unused. We have no pets in our apartment, but the downstairs neighbor has a dog that your pet will likely never see, but may smell or hear. Starting November 6th, my seasonal position at the urban wildlife refuge comes to a close and I will have full availability for River pets! That means I can work my schedule around you and your pets’ needs and be available for animals that need more time and attention. I have a small fenced in backyard for quick breaks and a private apartment with no other pets or children. I’m active, a hiker, and love long walks - would love if your pet could join!

About: Starting local to Philadelphia. I have been taking care of other people's strays and rescuing feral and street animals for several years. I can manage several animals simultaneously and accommodate all of their psychological and physical needs. I have provided care for Chinchillas, Ferrets, Rabbits, cats, and dogs. Dog walking was something I did for two years for my neighbors. I am currently a cat sitter, and provide drop-in visits. In the morning I will check on the needs of any animals ie food and water. I will play and walk with them for about an hour. I will have dogs with similar temperaments play with one another. After playing and walking I will make sure they eat and rest. Throughout the day I will provide activities and enrichment for the pets. At the end of the day i will walk dogs for another hour. I care for pets in my home based on their individualized needs. Certain cats are independent and would prefer not to be touched. I will foster a positive relationship with the pet slowly, and individualize their affection based on their personalities and needs.
