About: Hi, My name is Caroline. I am a freshman at PSU in the vet and biomedical major. A little about myself is that I have had dogs all my life and know all about them. If you ever need a night out or a vacation, I am your person to help with your dog. I love walking, running, and playing with dogs. And if baths are needed for your dog, I have no problem making sure they are clean for when you come home to them. If you ever just need someone to tire your dog out with a walk, I am happy to do so. I am happy to help with anything that your dog/cat needs, even if it is a trip to the bathtub.

Her stay with Madeline was wonderful. She coaxed her to eat, separated her from all dogs except her little terrier, and was forgiving of Pinky’s incontinence. While I hope tomorrow at Pinky’s neurologist visit we can get some answers and Pinky will be strong enough to be left alone after the holidays, if we need daycare again we will definitely be back.”

“I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. Samantha and her partner are genuine “dog people”. My dog is very selective with men and he immediately showed affection towards Samantha‘s boyfriend. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. “Ronon has spent the day with Sam and her adorable pug, Petunia, twice now. Sam has a nice home and yard and a very chill vibe. Ronon was comfortable with her immediately. Ronon has big feelings and separation anxiety, so I'm very picky about who I leave him with. (Also, he has all the hops and can jump a five foot fence. Sam has a very secure yard.) Very responsive, flexible, and watched our dog Piper on a last minute request. After struggling to find someone for daycare with just a few days notice, Janelle responded quickly and was available immediately for a meet and greet followed by a long day with Piper. Additionally, Piper had a fantastic time and seemed to quickly warm up to Janelle despite struggling with separation anxiety, which was something we were initially worried about. Both Janelle’s enthusiasm for helping us out and her excitement for taking care of Piper made the experience fantastic; not just for our dog, but for us as well!
