I’ve helped with walks, feeding, giving meds, and of course plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time. Whether it’s sticking to a set feeding and potty schedule or adding in some extra cuddle breaks, I’m able to keep your pup’s routine consistent and stress-free. About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! My schedule is determined by the pets in my care and their schedules. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. With me, your pup will have 24/7 one-on-one attention. They are allowed on the furniture and will always be supervised. I also have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained but most of the time they will play and hangout where I am. I have 2 cats that do well with dogs. The cat food is raised off the floor and litter boxes are located in the main living space and are scooped immediately.

About: Hi I had a dog for 16 years I like playing with dogs and taking them for long runs If necessary I will feed your dog and take care of a bowl full of water If I need to keep him away from other dogs or vice versa let him hang out in the park and enjoy it I'll do it I will listen to everything you have to say about what your dog needs because I think that is the most important thing Because for example my dog is allergic to a certain food so as much as I want my dog to be okay I will protect your dog the same way Finally I would be happy if you would contact me at your convenience

About: My love for dogs is endless. I've been involved in dog rescue for over 12 years. The fun dogs, the shy dogs, the dogs with no direction and the perfect dogs, dogs of all ages. A very quiet home with playtime if they want it or quiet time that they need. I provide lots of enrichment and a full secure yard where they can run and play, or just sun bathe. I have been dog sitting for years and I've also been a part of a dog rescue where I've seen everything. Each one of our family members deserves love and respect and a little extra when their family is on vacation. It should be a relaxing time for our canine family too! I pride myself on the reaction of my visitors when they come back over and over!!! My schedule allows me to give your family members all the time and attention they could ask for in my home. I never want your furry family to feel like they aren't comfortable and I will engage with them as much or as little as they would like while giving them the space they need if they choose. I have a fully fenced in yard, but no one is out in the yard unattended. I also have the ability to completely separate dogs with separate exits/entrances. All dogs are able to go on couches and dog beds throughout the house and if they need their own space, I have that capability as well. The separated room has it's own tv, couch and is where I spend most of my day working. If your pup(s) is friendly, they are able to keep us company throughout the house. Smoke-free home.

About: I am a Fear Free pet sitter and dog walker. I volunteer at my local animal shelters and foster dogs. I am an advocate for all animals. I am a teacher with summers off which gives me all summer to love on and care for fur babies. I will be available part time during the school year. If doggy day care is what you need, please be advised that anything beyond 9 hours an additional charge will be applied. My home is doggy ready. Although I currently do not have pets of my own since the passing of my dogs, I usually have a foster dog in my home. I have multiple areas to keep your fur babies, so if your baby is not dog friendly, I can accommodate. I have multiple crates of different sizes, a couple of dog beds and if your pet is a couch snuggler, i am happy to oblige. I can/will walk dogs. I have a fenced in area for dogs to run around. If meds need to be given, I can do that as well. A meet and greet will be required.
